But in my honest opinion - they actually are doing a decent job right now.

1. the promo (both of them) highlighted Abir as the forefront - the one taking charge of the situation.

2. Even now in the episodes we see time n time again, being the voice, leader, the dhaal for Mishti. He is the one trying to manage the whole situation - Mishti's health, Family drama, Mystery drama.

3. He (As the male lead) learns the truth about Varun's bhai Karan first.

(i don't know about you, but to me, that is new! most of the time it is FL who secretly does these things to manage complicated situations and hides truths - kind of like the Baba track where Mishti was centre-piece)

This time, it really does feel like we are seeing this whole complication from Abir's pov, that's why we are able to see and feel his emotions, his struggle, his dilemma...every pain!

Mishti as the FL, being equally supportive whilst still struggling with her own trauma and pain, is a whole other story. Mishbir sticking together like glue, talking things out maturely and supporting one another emotionally is also another new stereotype break here.

But ultimately, I believe we are finally going to see Abir's breaking point (which is much needed and long overdue). These kind of things, we don't see often (my knowledge of ITV is very weak but still..).

I'm just happy to see Shah and Rhea both getting the opportunity to showcase their versatility like this👏👍🏼

totally agreed nandu.. 👍🏼 every point of yours is perfect... i wont say its first time but still this is a new change that not many shows have bought out... we felt abir was silent in baba track at it was focused on mishti protecting abir n feeling his pain... now its about abir,.. this is a welcome change... actually like daya said our mood and opinion entirely is depending on abir as its totally in his pov...

coming to think of it our show has this uniqueness that they show the pov of the loved ones of the one who is suffering which is a first in ITV... everyone sees the pain of the one who is suffering but the pain n suffering of the people who love them n care for them is not given much importance, they too suffer equally... this is something our show has shown, which also justifies why mishti's feeling was given importance in baba track..

Mishbir scene in their bedroom was fab both gave individual shots...though it was fantastic both nailed their performance..this is what an actor needs atleast they both are getting a chance to show case their versatility 👍🏼

That's true, purposely to keh rahi hai but Yehi maanti hai wo, she have not taught her SONS to respect a woman. Ek beta molest karta hai Dusra beta apni hi fiance ko badnaam karne mein laga hua hai, how could she be proud of herself. Abir is awesome yaar, aisi family mein bada hua, aisi mom ke saath but fir bhi sensibility, moral values, maturity, respecting every Individual, sab hai usmein. All credit goes to his banjaraness 🤗.
