Sad part is that many good actors are in the show. Vanraj does his role well..he is a good actor but they have made him out and out negative & cruel. There is no grey to him ...he is the villain of the show

even Kavya , as bad as she is, wants to sort of help Anu. even though it’s most likely for her own selfish motive

Yepp...agree on all points good actors being wasted on the usual drama.

I get what the show is about but can they not show it in a realistic manner...make it an actual serious show that someone in a si ilar position will watch it and maybe think it's not to late for them. We have already had so many shows of helpless housewives who worship the ground their husbands and in laws walk on...it would have been nice to see a real human being with real human emorions...so far Anupamaa is just a caricature...if they are dtermined to show such negative human beings (we agree they exist in life) eg the mother in law hoarding food and all that, being nastt to her mother...the än show how it affects Anupamaa...she does not have to disrespect her mother in law...but her treating her like some god is just not normal...not after 25 years of abuse..

Ok strictly going by the story I think the biggest villain is ANUPAMA... For reasons known to her she enjoys being treated as a doormat and in turn making villains out of her own kids.

The husband is a lowlife but anyone who accepts such a treatment and also daydream about that person for the 25plus years of marriage??? What you call that person??

How come she raised such a superficial children? We are suppose to watch a woman who couldn't raise her own children to respect her, and is going to suddenly grow a spine?? and that's supposed to be empowerment??

Pls this is not magic these are serious issues faced by lots of people in society and fought by many woman.. So don't belittle their hard work by showing a lady who couldn't fight agaist injustice by her own family and, kids...

Seriously twisted show and sad to see it airing these content on national television. This kind of shows need to be censored and banned..

Anupama is a selfish character who doesn't fight for anybody including herself. These characters cannot be celebrated..

What's up with one child is supporting the mother and other 2 don't care anything about her infact ashamed of her??? So unfair to those 2 children where a mother don't teach them what's right and wrong. See Sameer is good despite of Anupama. Still a gross manipulation to show one kid is better than another in such a thing age and that too to glorify a weak character.

So strange the angle they choose with thw kids...funny enough the only time she has a back bone is to tell Samar off when he speaks against his Dad...but meanwhile her other two kids have no decorum at all but she is always apologising TO THEM when they treat her like dirt

i totally agree and since such shows make me totally angry i have stopped watching tv all together

it just upsets me the misogyny , the patriarchy behavior and women as sacrificial lambs ....

OTT drama i cant handle ...i am watching Mere Dad ki Dulhan off and on due to Varun and Swetha off and on thats all

IKR the show reminds me of hello Pratibha on zee TV similar concept and of course English vinglish but English vinglish was a movie it will end in hours but Anupama it will be stretched and dragged for weeks.

If the show gets the numbers then it will continue to drag and Anupama will be a doormat for years to come and when the ratings drop their will be Maha episode 😆abt Anupama taking a stand

there are real life cases of woman still being treated like shit even in today’s world but channels just tend to dramatize this concepts via promos, MEs, etc....PB was good but only until up to a certain point but afterwards the drama became boring with faltu drama...

Everyone apart from Samar and Granpa are just too much. I don't have words. I am not sure i can go on with this show, if they don't start giving Anupama strong voice and character. Even if it one step at a time, I am hoping they start soon.

I regret ever watching this show. Now my mom wants to keep watching it saying she is waiting for Anupama to leave that scumbag of her husband. I told her that’s a long road. This crap will go on for ages before we can see any change whatsoever.

I remember that movie Baghban...although it was OTT drama I do love the end when both parents give their children the middle finger. That’s what needs to happen here ...Anu needs to give both her husband, and mother in law the finger and move on. Tell her stupid kids to piss off and make Kavya their mother

Kavya is a weird character ...sometimes you see her supporting Anu other times she is also putting her down

The show thus far sucks ...I fast watch it every few days in 5 min cause my mom also wants to see if Anu takes a stand soon. However her patience is also waning
