Well well well

Gals agar heated exchange of opinions karne hi the toh naya episode ka thread khol ke hi kar lete 😆🤣no offence meant please 😉

I was like oh my God the previous episode generated so much traffic ..padha toh pata chala wahan toh Nia and Guneet ki fight ka discussion chal raha hai

Chalo anyways ...

So the episode starts with Nia and Kabir and Kabir telling Nia about Him and Swara ...what I didn't get was did Kabir accept Swara's proposal are they together ...and this scene was well done...it was honest conversation between two friends who could be something more . The honesty between both of them was great . They sat down together and talked about it or let me say Kabir layed his feelings bare ...it was nice to see .. two people talking maturely .

Now let me say this Anjali Taratari has come a long way ..she was great in the scene ..her expressions were pointon..she reacted to Kabir's feeling with expressions which conveyed a lot...she was embarrassed and happy and then regretful because it was evident that even though she has some feelings for Kabir but they were lacking in depth ..her feelings for Kabir do not have the depth which Kabir has/ had for her . ( Can anyone tell me about the song playing in bg ..what is the songs name and movie or album )

Then we see that Amber is holding the pic of Guneet and her mother and kishore kumar songs play in bg.

The broker has approached Guneet for new homes also and somehow that ends up with Shuklain telling Guneet that good people forgive others

Anyway we see that Guneet has walked into Amber's home and then she walks upto Amber and hands him some money for keeping her things in his office . Amber says that I never asked for money and Guneet says that I don't want any favours from you and then we see Nia walk in and let's just say be rude and Nia here pointedly reminds Guneet about the last time and we see the flashback

For this scene ..(above ) .I will say that Nia was rude and it was not good on her part to refer to last time like this ...

After this I hadn't the heart to watch the last four minutes of the show ...☺️😳.. I will go back and watch it and then say my piece about it .

And it's so bad watching the show on Sony LIV ..it's one of the worst apps ever ...they don't list the episodes...there are too numerous ads and the screen blacks out every now and then ..

So I watched the scene and let me tell you I went with a lot of trepidition and expecting the very worst ...it was bad but not so bad and definitely not very unsalvageable ...

So the scene begins with Nia barging in on Guneet and asking to talk to her ...Nia tries to tell Guneet what is her dad's feelings and trying to explain what happened .. Guneet in her turn feels betrayed that apparently Nia knew that Amber was NDP and never told her ... Things get out of hand when Guneet tells Nia that she slapped her father at which Nia looses her temper and asks how dare you ? Guneet says ki I dare because of what your father did and then goes on to say that you have a curtain in your eyes about your father's fault and because of it you also suffer , he uses you and who knows that the same thing happened with your mom too... And at this Nia looses it and calls Guneet a two timer and then Says hurtful words which Anurag said to Guneet when he left...for which Guneet asks her to get out and then Nia reminds Guneet that it is Guneet who should get out.. and gives her two days and then Guneet says I also don't want to stay in this house with liar dad and liar daughter and then Nia says I won't hear another word against my dad and the scene ends and we see Guneet and Nia staring at each other and then present time Guneet says I remember and then says ki forgave you for the last time but not for next time... And then Guneet kinda throws the money on the table and walks out of the house with dignity and he father daughter duo are left standing behind watching her . Then these both share a look and Nia I suppose looks guilty and then Amber walks away

Well well well... Let's just say I am a daughter ...my first instinct will be to defend my parents .. I think for most parts and I mean for all of us it takes a lot of maturity to consider our parents as human beings too who can make mistakes who are also flawed ..and even if I am matured but since I love my parents my first instincts will be to defend my parents ...so Nia's instinct in defending Amber was not wrong ...she was trying to defend her father to Guneet at first ... She was trying to explain to Guneet that her father was not wrong ... So Nia over looked what her father did ..she went ahead to manaofy Guneet for her father ...not bad ...not bad ...but Nia could have choosen a better time ...she could have waited and then approached Guneet and talked it out . I am not saying that Nia was right in saying that her father was not wrong ...but I understand where she was coming from ...

Then things got worse ...why because Guneet blurts out the fact that she slapped Amber and that enrages Nia ...yeah even I wouldn't take anyone slapping my parents kindly ... But again here what went wrong was the circumstances ...Nia didn't know what actually happened ..when and how did the slap occur .. she assumed the worst ...then reacted ..was she correct ? I don't know ...indian shows are kind of free hand with slaps ...everyone is slapping everyone in reel .. Guneet slapping Amber ...was like heat of moment thing maybe because Guneet wanted to get away ...and Amber was trying to stop her or she was very angry and then that happened..

So Nia is enraged and calls Guneet two timer and Guneet brings up her mom and tells Nia that her dad uses her...here Guneet is wrong ...that was wrong to say about a parent using a child and then bringing up a dead parent ... It crossed a line ..and then Nia repeating the words which Anurag said ...that was again crossing of line by Nia

So both said some pretty unforgivable things to each other ..now coming to Amber .. what does Amber know actually about the fight between Nia and Guneet...did Amber send Nia to Guneet I think not...what did Amber tell Nia about what when down at the dinner and what has Nia told Amber what all was said between Guneet and her ?

This whole thing is really a grey area .. nobody is completely correct or completely wrong . It just went out of hand ...circumstances went berserk and things were said which cannot be unsaid ..

This above is just my thought process and let's say I am a bit satisfied about the fight ... It was better than expected and not as much worst as I feared ..so things I hope will improve ..

And please please anyone someone ..do tell me about the song playing in the background for Kabir and Nia scene ..

Anyone else bothered with the lighting...why is now the show in greyish tint .. or is it because the mood of the show has become somber ?

My thoughts on the fight:

1) To defend my parents (even if a slap is involved), I wouldn't slander someone's character like Nia did with Guneet....it's quite disturbing that as a female, she doesn't feel a moment's pause in denigrating the character of a woman who shared all her vulnerabilities with her. Patriarchy rules.

2) Shweta was just OUTSTANDING in this scene....those fiery, teary eyes....I was reminded of some classic Prerna glaring😆....the way Guneet's emotions were oscillating all over the place in this scene....the heartbreak, the anger, the shock when she learns that Nia also knew the truth, the feeling of betrayal when even Nia doesn't give her any understanding as a friend....every shade was outstandingly portrayed by Shweta.....

Special mention for two bits....a)When she tells Nia to get out....and b) When she tells Nia that she let her badtameezi go once but she won't let it go a second time.....I loved that she reminded Nia who's the elder here that Nia ofcourse seems to have no cognizance of because of having treated her own dad like a kid half her life.

3) It was an ugly fight.....clearly both of them were hurt and lashing out to hurt the other. But Nia's blind defense of her father has gotten beyond tiresome and I have no sympathy for it anymore. She is consumed by her father's so called emotional debilitation that she couldn't even see another woman's pain.....Yes, Guneet shouldn't have said anything about how Amber treated his late wife or his daughter but frankly what she said was the truth.....he's a drama queen of the highest order who emotionally blackmails the people in his life. Ofcourse Nia as the daughter can't handle or bear this truth, so she reacted.....but to react by calling Guneet a two timer who can't handle relationships was WAY over the line.

Amber consumes the drama oxygen of every situation so much, that people forget everything else. This is a man who put Guneet through so much when she first came into his life as the tenant....while she was always the cheerful one trying to look for positives in so many setbacks.....and now it's all been forgotten to paint him as the victim.

The saddest part of the scene was the hurt in Guneet when she said to Nia, "Tum toh meri dost thi na".....once again, Guneet made the mistake of thinking anyone would stick up for her....she expected Nia to give her some understanding as a friend....but from the get go, Nia was only obsessed with advocating for her father.....and that was the moment Guneet realized that Nia the daughter is all there is....she thought she had a friend in Nia, but there never really was.....Nia proved it with the way she slandered Guneet.

However the story moves ahead in the coming days....it's been quite disappointing to see the casual way in which Guneet is slandered over and over again by random characters in this show, simply for trying to figure out her path to love in life. People like Amber make a 1000 more mistakes than her but somehow HE ends up being the "victim" with his daughter trying to paint him as a saint😕😆

This should have been an issue between two consenting adults (Amber and Guneet)....woh aapas mein lade ya marein, it's their business.....Nia has to stop infantilizing either of them.....but sadly this is all they seem to be fixated on in this story currently.

Amber doesn't seem to know or care much about the fight between Nia and Guneet. All he must have done was cry in front of Nia ki Guneet ne meri baat nahin suni....same way he keeps crying to Hakim....and Nia as usual must have taken off to advocate for her father.

No matter what was said between Nia and Guneet in that fight, it's obvious that Amber will always only defend Nia and Nia will only defend him. Guneet is the outsider here that neither father nor daughter have ever really supported or really tried to understand.

The casual way in which everyone STILL keeps throwing the Anurag fiasco in Guneet's face even after knowing the emotional conflict she was going through at that time just proves this point. Amber the coward who was privy to all these thoughts of Guneet as she shared every deep vulnerability about love and relationships with him and STILL he lets her be slandered like this by everyone...amazing stuff.

Nia is a wannabe oversmart brat in many ways who REALLY needs a reality check. She doesn't have the first clue herself about relationships, but seems to consider herself a know it all simply for designing this dating app....lol

And let's not forget that she has only now gotten to know that AS is NDP. Remember how violently AS rejected the idea that Guneet and her online personality were the same? For her, AS is still the one who tried everything to get her out of the home ( as she told him even during the dinner date). AS luckily had a Hakim who counseled him when he repeatedly lashed out. Unfortuantely, Nia was the person Guneet lashed out to.

Exactly.....as always, Amber gets all the time and space to process his emotions and his fears....while Guneet is never allowed a human moment of lashing out after such a shocking revelation and feeling so betrayed.

Everyone has conveniently forgotten what all crap Amber spoke about her when he first found out Guneet is Baawra Mann....he was always quick to blame her, denigrate her. Took him forever to come around to the fact that he loved her.

But now when it's Guneet's turn, everyone just wants her to instantly see Amber's "greatness".....LOL@ Nia trying to give Amber ki sharaafat ke proofs to Guneet at SUCH a time. Girl really is beyond blind in her father's love and has no maturity to deal with such charged situations.

Guneet made a mistake in thinking ANYONE here would understand her emotions as she lashed out.....only Randeep would have. Sadly he's not here, and everyone else blindly supports Amber.

*Edit: I really miss the way this guy adored her....aww❤️

Even I was reminded of fierry prerna, who would take no bakwas from anyone. It was completely a ST scene.

At the end all of them were wrong and were victims of circumstances. Let's see how cvs will take this forward from here on. The base is set for Guneet and amber secretly dating. But then what, one day nia will come to know about it. And knowing the person she is, she will ask him to back off as she thinks Guneet is not good enough for him. Amber then will have to choice.

P.S Can they please stop this nia and her many aashiq thing. It is getting irritating.

Really? Is Amber capable of managing this?😆.....muh toh khulta nahin....guts toh hain nahin....aur secretly date karega after ALL this tamasha?😆 Dekhte hain.....lol....I can only hope that Guneet doesn't give in before Amber actually makes some dhang ke efforts....right now he just mopes around uselessly and plays victim.

Nia and her aashiq is the true theme of this show....they just accidentally named it mere dad ki dulhan😆

I am sorry I will not not be able to highlight any parts of your quote to reply

In reply to your first point ...I will always defend my parents first ... They may be wrong of course they can be wrong but they are my parents ..my first order of business ..my duty and my responsibility is to protect them , defend them . Because they have always done the same for me .. if someone lashes out at my parents in front of me as a daughter reaction would be to defend them and protect them . My love for my parents doesn't end or lessen if they are wrong or right . Yes here I am not defending Nia but my thought process .. my parents will come first and that's why if Nia lashed out at Guneet she was wrong in saying those things to Guneet but her instinct was right ... I am not saying Nia should have crossed her limits but as a daughter I would also get angry if I heard someone had hurt my parents ...all I said and will stand by what I said that Nia's instinct to defend her dad was correct ...her words were wrong ...she crossed lines yes..but I understand her instinct her need to defend her father . You say that you won't do what she did I salute your maturity but for me my first instinct will be to defend my parents .

2 ) yes the acting was superb...and like I said the dignity with which Guneet walked out of the room at the end of the fight ..it was awesome I mean..and that's also you know it's not acting it's embodiment..at that point I think ST and Guneet were one ..she actually was brilliant no questions .. ST is a very strong woman and that dignity has to come from within ..and that's what shone from her in that scene ..

3) Well you guys discussing it in other thread left me with a feeling that may be they both said all kinds of galis to each other or something more ...I mean comeon .. It took me some time to even watch the scene those last four minutes ...I watched till the before the fight ..came here made a sunny post ..went back and then watched it...so my expectations were of very scary and worst about the fight. Yes hateful things were said ..yes lines were crossed ...but it was not crass.. it was done with finess and that shows both of the actresses acting chops and I think Anjali has learnt quite a bit from both of these veteran actors . And of course ..Amber is quite wrong on how he has behaved in past but still that doesn't give us or anyone right to comment on his marriage ... We don't know enough about it .

The thing wrong with this show now is that we don't have anything from Guneet's point of view ... We don't and all we get is Amber's feelings his sounding boards ...so he has been painted as a victim ..he is being shown as a victim .. the show would be better balanced if we could see Guneet talking to someone about it ..to have her heart to heart...the makers didn't let Randeep stay..I wish he had..he was such a wonderful addition ..bring him back please .

Yes it was very sad to watch Guneet have expectations from Nia ..and that broke my heart too and that's why there is a need for Guneet to have someone of her own ...she can't rely on her mother but she can have a friend right .. this is what irks me the most in this show..Amber who is so difficult has a friend like Hakim but Guneet with such positive outlook and extrovert identity doesn't have a friend ?? How is that ?

I am tired now ..sorry. I hope you are not offended by my post ...its just that I am on leave it's weekend ..I finally have time to discuss the episodes 😆and it's so very nice to see such different view points here ..and people getting involved in the show wow ...

And Nia toh bich mein ayegi na ..it's mere dad ki dulhan ...not Amber ki dulhan 🤣

Nia is getting lots of aashiq... Really but please tell me did anyone get this ...Are Swara and Kabir dating ..? Did he say yes to her proposal ? . What was the song name in the scene what movie ..what album

Nia ki company ka kya hua

Woh kama kaise rahi hai ? Kaam karte dikhti kyun nahi Nia and Kajal ?

I think for one ..Amber needs to lay down a law that Nia needs to be quiet about his and Guneet's issue ..he has to stress this point to her that whatever happened should be between him and Guneet and Nia taking sides is making situation worse..and if any kind of relationship is possible between Guneet and Amber then Nia needs to stay out of it ..I mean she shouldn't be commenting/ reacting on whatever fight happens between them .

This honest talks needs to happen between Amber and Nia before Amber can take steps to redeem himself in front of Guneet or else this situation will occur again and again

I think Nia didn't talk to her dad at all and just saw his face and went ahead to talk to Guneet...

Nia is a brat I agree and she needs to focus on herself and her antics before pointing it on others

But they way Kabir and Nia discussed Randeep I feel kind of hopeful that maybe they can bring him back .. wishful thinking ?

I agree nobody should be talking to Guneet about Anurag's words ...whatever happened ...that was again between Anurag and Guneet and nobody else ..although Anurag did make it all public by shouting about it all in front of guests on roka day

So yes Nia is wrong in saying those words to Guneet ..and words once spoken cannot be unsaid and I think down the line we need to see Nia giving a heartfelt apology to Guneet

I hope we see that happen ..I hope this fight is not swept under the rug and not referred to again after things get better ..but we see a scene in which both Nia apologizes and Guneet and she talk it out
