Ayushman is doing the same movie again n again ?

Except Andhadhun and Article 15

Most of his recent hits has

- a social issue

- comedy

- a progressive speech at the end

Isn't everyone doing the same according to this forum?

Akshay - Patriotic

Shahrukh- romantic

Ranbir- Man child

Varun- Remakes of Govinda and Salman movies of 90s

Ajay- Action

Etc etc etc

So who is doing different genres and roles according to IF. I am genuinely interested in knowing the answer, coz everyone here is considered overrated, repetitive, underrated, non actor.

PS- I want to have a healthy discussion over this.

SRK has always done diverse roles, his romantics one are just better known and more loved.

Anjam, Ram Jaane, Maya Memsaab, Raees, Fan, Dear Zindagi, Shakti, Don or Chak De India!

And even the roles in which he romanced were different from one another a Rahul in K2H2 wasn't a Devdas who was also different from the guy he player in KANK, RNBDJ or even Dil Se.

I think it's simplistic to club together all his roles as being the romantic hero.

He does the same thing but BW is limited and there are hardly enough genres. The audience is not receptive to new things and people are obsessed about the box office as if it's a horse race.

When one thing works, producers will come up with another 10 copycats of the same thing and keep offering the same things.

As long as it keeps working, Ayushman will keep on doing those boring similar middle-class men with issues movies.

The problem is with bollywood, they typecast an actor they always play safe it's their creative indeficiency

That could have a wide range of topics but Ayushman's are much more restricted than that. They are films that make average men feel good about themselves. It's okay if you're bald, it's okay if you have erectile dysfunction, it's okay if your wife is fat, it's okay if you have a mediocre job, etc.

That's why his gay movie flopped because average men don't care about this subject. It doesn't make them feel good about themselves.
