Rishi was the bigger star and better actor any day, hands down
Ranbir is overhyped
Ranbir has 2 steps forward and 1 back
WUS, Raajneeti, Ajab Prem and Anjaana Anjaani
Barfi/YJHD and then Besharam.
Then the ready bad wave where he made 2 hits in like 5 years. An Sanju was good but the more delays and it’s Ranbir who 😆
Salman was a superstar from MPK days he gave several blockbusters one after the other..once a fanbase is made..it grows back after a lean period.
Rishi did his 80 th feature film as a hero ,when he was 40😲..the 80th film was Deewana.
The superstars have worked in huge number of films to reach where they are. They have a large body of work.
I wonder if Rishi understood, why his son's films take years to release..
Salman was lucky...he still had clout in the industry despite a long lean phase like Abhishek Bachchan.
Yes, Rishi too had a romantic image, until he started experimented with his roles later on. But he was a good actor, loved watching him in Damini, all his movies with Neetu. Just think he should have skipped SOTY role...was a bit irritating to watch.
I sometimes wonder if Ranbir has an addiction problem, he tends to appear 'stoned' in his interviews. In contrast, Rishi was more disciplined, at least on work front. He too had a drinking problem, you never know.
undoubtedly rishi kapoor
Ranbir because of Rishi. Rishi because of Raj. Raj because of Prithvi.
Rishi might have been a top star in late 70s to early 80s (there too, he was not comparable to Amitabh. He himself has admitted it). But since mid 80s, he sailed only because powerful female leads like Sridevi needed a flowerpot hero.
Chandini, Nagina, Bol Radha Bol, Damini ... In these movies, who bought tickets to watch bloated Rishi?!
Rishi was better
He did comedy, drama and dancing etc nicely
Only action he looked unbelievable
Salman got his superstardom post his 40s, don't forget that.
Salman was super star from his second movie Maine pyar kiya, than sajjan, hum aapke hain kaun, than hum saath saath hain in 1990s only
almost all cinegoers would knows these movies
who knows ranbir movies except a sanju
Even barfi hardly anyone saw
and i am not both ranbir and salman fan
rishi kapoor, his bobby is legend, the songs are evergreen.
and he sustained his stardom for so long.

Really?? What about Rockstar, Rajneeti, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Wake Up Sid? His performance in Rockstar is the best till date and he even won filmfare best actor award for this. I am not even Ranbir's fan but the way you are telling that no one knows Ranbir except of Sanju is nothing but underestimation. And who said anyone hardly saw barfi? It's a hit movie for God sake. It's true that Ranbir Kapoor couldn't reach the level of Stardom sooner after his debut like Salman Khan did, but that doesn't mean that he became well known after Sanju, that's a pure lie. Ranbir's filmography is much better than many other actors of his generation.

This might be an unpopular take… but here goes. I genuinely believe Ranveer Singh is more versatile, but Ranbir Kapoor is the better actor. And...
