He woke up in pain..n they were discussing the cycle episode. Though unconscious all he Remembered was the scary spine chilling scene of that monster in the name of father, getting electrocuted. That triggered panic in him. Only when medication was induced he remembered his mother... That calmed him down.

So he already had a panic attack : semi consciously on top of it lets also remember he had faced abusive childhood which has caused enough trauma. The recent revelation of the loss of "their" child, someone whom he had accepted but had lost.. is also very traumatic. On top of it, His pain isn't helping him. Traumatic Memories have already been triggered. So realistically yes panic attack... why not. 😆
