shows has glorify karna in the most positive way i don't know the obsession for him they just whitewash him so much that his real negativity is not highlighted much or overshadowed some even write love stories for karna-draupadi🤮

Yeah if talk about Mahabharata then

Yudhishtra and drapaudi are the main protagonist. It was ultimately their jaya their win. Duryodhan is the main antagonist.

Followed by krishna.

Then bheem/arjuna.

Karna can be the second important antagonist.

for me it goes this way

Protagonist

Krishna

Arjun

Draupadi

Bheem

Yudishtra

Abhimanyu(w/o him breaking chakravyu and turn the war to pandavas was impossible)

Antagonist

Duryodhan

Karna

Dushasan

It is more about who takes the centre stage. For me personally krishna and krishnaa will always be the protagonist. But according to how the epic goes yudhishtra does takes a centre stage and is more important than bheem and arjuna. I don't like him but that s true. Yudhishtra drapaudi krishna take the centre stage. Then comes bheem and arjuna.

Yudhisthir is indeed the main protagonist. We may/may not agree to his thoughts but he indeed his. It shows how he first got "Vijaya" (i.e materialistic win by winning the war) and then "Jaya" (by ascending to the heaven in his mortal body and winning over his anger). Krishna and Draupadi as well. As far I remember a post in Quora, I read after Rajsuya he went to Ved Vyas, then Ved Vyas told he would be responsible for the destruction of his clan so to avoid this Yudhisthira took a vow that he would not disobey his elder. That's what made him play the dice game. SP Mahabharat made Arjun hero which is absolutely not right. Infact, I remember Krishna telling for what he wants, he needs two person : Arjun and Draupadi. But it's wrong, two persons should have been Yudhisthir and Draupadi. Arjuna was just a person who won the Swaymbar and nothing else.

He is the major antagonist in Dyut Sabha, Duryodhan actually plays his second fiddle there.

In most of the others conspiracies he is as active a participant as Duryodhan, he isn't just a side kick but actually a proponent of those m

He is one to mostly promote the hatred of Duryodhan towards Pandavas, while others including Shakuni try to calm him down.

He had won over major states of India (during Digvijay or else whatever) to gain riches from there, with actually was one of the major factors that made Hastinapur a state of its previous glory which actually was a cause of Pandavas reluctance to the war.

His presence is a major enabler of the war, in most probability, had he not been there, the elders would have convinced Duryodhan to return Indraprasth

i agree with this

it was karnas support to dury that made him think of war .

if dury was fighting war with backing of karna then yudi was fighting war with backing of arjuna.

Arjun was not just for swyamvar . He was imp because he was their main warrior. he was also imp because of his proximity to krishna. for krishna he was most important and the whole geeta gyan was given through him. i feel krishna is the main protagonist not yudi
