My problem with her wouldn't have existed if truly survival of the fittest mattered. Fittest in Bollywood means a combination of looks, acting talent, and screen presence. But Alia fails miserably in two of these departments, and is average in the third. So no, she doesn't deserve to be No. 1 actress in Bollywood.

I wouldn't have hated her if she had risen organically and if her stardom had not been manufactured by KJO. I can't help thinking that without KHO's backing, she wouldn't even be in top 10.

It's not about Kiaran, Kriti or Yami anymore. Or Even Ileana, who rightfully deserves so much more. It's about the fact that her contemporaries are so much better in looks, and at least equal in acting talent. It's about the fact that we never got to see these actresses' work being praised by the media as much or Alia being shoved relentlessly down our throats. There's so much here that's unfair.

In today's world surivival of the fittest means money and power. Everybody wants it, even your so called innocent outsiders. No one likes to share power with anyone.

Indian media is very much corrupt. You can buy them easily.

Outsiders need to invest in their managers and PR and stop crying about their failures.

Of course I support her, she has worked hard and taken a lot of hatred and a lot of critique, all thru this she has remained positive and even gracious, and classy. The majority of the paying public supports her work and pays to see it, at the the end that is where it counts, foot falls. She has been the victim of extra hatred and a lot of ugly PR caused by an insecure loud mouth who thinks that every ones light has to be out for hers to shine brightest, a mistake, but ego damaged individuals never see the big picture and they try to cause a lot of harm to everyone around then, usually they end up self combusting, because they can't take the pressure of new, younger actresses coming up every day, or other people actually getting roles, just because they fit the writers idea of what they need for a role.

l do think the Hindi film making industry is going to change, and have an evolution, go thru some growing pains, content more than a famous name is more attractive to the public, digital media is going to be changing the old brick and mortar theater and, maybe the public, will stop being so gullible and stop idolizing people, to the point of thinking they are demi-Gods, content is important, in America no body cares what Meryl Streep's sister says or thinks,.....come to think of it don't even know if she has one, don't care....

So that's what people r saying here. She has done dirty politics and snatched everyone's project. She never had fair competition. Her competitors were dumped and ditched after signing them so we never will know if she would have made this without the lobbying and all.

Also, Your explanation means if I m born to a poor family I should die and no one will care? I don't bloody deserve a chance even If I m deserving. Only the rich needs to get rich. Nice thought🤪

If you put enough hard work and dedication in your career nobody cannot do anything against you. Hard work always payback. Sometimes you do need little bit of luck in your side too.

The outsiders who were replaced by Nepo kids were never the perfect match for the particular movie as per the directors. Akshay Kumar as per some media reports wanted to do MS Dhoni but the director refused, now rest is history.

Director only wanted SSR. I don’t believe that these stars became superstar due to their hard work. Vidya balan and SSR has many movies but were snatched by other actors. I wish Bollywood was as beautiful as you are describing.
