Do you support Alia bhatt?

I know she’s coming up a lot. But do you support her acting journey, her as an actress. Yes or not question. Why or why not? Let’s not troll her on here, just state your reasoning.

I personally feel she deserves a place in the industry and the hateful remarks are uncalled for. However I don’t support how she’s gotten certain films, I’ve said this plenty of times. and how she has been forcefully marketed in a way to reach an agenda in a way that puts other talents down. I don’t think this is all of her fault, it is the industry’s as well.

Used to be a fan, then Kalank happened. That movie really exposed her weaknesses.

She definitely deserves a spot in bollywood but she is nothing close to being #1. She just needs to stick to roles that doesn't require the character to be pretty, feminine, subtle or graceful.

As an actress she can range from awe-inspiring(udta punjab) to very bad(the cuckoo rant scene in DZ).Some people here find every other actress better than her which i don't agree with,I saw kiara in guilty some days back and she was decent at the most.What has yami shown to be considered better than alia?These actresses may be prettier but personally i don't need my heroines to be pretty.

Unpopular opinion but i don't find her bad in kalank either,she cried so well in the last train scene.I am on the fence about the last scene in raazi though😂 sometimes i mind the nose flaring,sometimes i don't.

Some people simply love to hate Alia.So they will say any random actor is so good.

If 6 outsiders debuted with her and got the same type of promotion and oportunities and she came out on top.

We can say she is the best the country has to offer.

That did not happen.

She has been heavily promoted and shoved down everyones throat that people honestly do not even know if there is anyone better than Alia Bhatt.

That is just how bad nepotism has gotten.

It is not who is the most talented. It is who has gotten the most promotion and hype as being the 'most talented'.

I like Alia. She has decent looks and knows how to carry herself. She understands the value of networking and uses it to her full advantage to get best scripts and awards. In today's world only an Alia can survive.

I definitely agree that she can be very good in certain scenes/roles like Udta Punjab and quite bad in others where she has absolutely no screen presence or depth. She is still raw and inconsistent to me as an actress personally. She is better than many, but there are still a lot better than her acting wise.

So in todays world to survive you need to be born into wealth and privilege like Alia.

Sounds like classism.

@vsbarry yes!she can be very inconsistent too.Even in one role,there could be scenes where she delivers and other scenes where she doesn't.Like in highway,randeep hooda was consistent through out and she wasn't.He really got snubbed.

Yes

A good beginning in life means good education and easy path to sucess thanks to parents wealth and network. You can at-least enjoy life.

I am not idealist. I live in reality.

Without money nobody cares if you are alive or dead.
