No idea actually. Like GalaxyFan said, there has to be a way for them to measure how successful a movie or a show really is.

I think this boycott will remain fickle. Although I would love to see people be persistent. It’s likely to not happen.
Alia’s saving grace is her knocking her performance out of the park (up to her standards of course). Reviewers will support her acting and even hype her most likely. Hype leads to more hype and she will be praised once again. Her acting well will be what her PR will use as a stance to rebuild her image against this whole nepotism debate most likely and bring her back into the audiences good side.

If film is good, people will watch it regardless.

Sigh yeah. But I think this time it might be different. Even Masand and Anupama are getting a lot of hate so dont think their reviews will matter much. I don't think any actress or production house has gotten so much hate ever. Even Salman running over a guy still had so many fans because people genuinely loved him. But amount of unanimous hate Alia is getting, I doubt things will go back to normal for her.

I can see it going the other way too no doubt given the intensity of the backlash. I’ve never seen it this bad. So very Difficult to predict. But given how easy it is to sway the audiences mind in the past, I can see how backlash on previous established well liked stars doesn’t sustain. It hard to break stars with large followings no matter what the situation is

Not sure how a OTT boycott would work . They can easily come with bogus numbers to make it seem like a success 🤔.

What percentage of Indians actually have streaming service subscriptions?

I'm genuinely curious. I do think there will be a loss because Indians love watching movies in the theatres. I personally don't know anyone who watches Bollywood movies in the theatres.

I don’t think Alia has a large following, were made to believe that. That’s what they want us to believe. And I certainly think her and her Khala KJO have lost the respect of the nation.

They’ll still work but people will be ashamed of them. I’ve never seen this much hate towards a so called number 1 actress .... there’s literally a handful of people defending her. Which makes me think her entire brand is a big fat fabricated lie. You can’t take down someone who is a true star that fast.

Even if it wasn't , i am sure you would have done everything in your power to make it happen .. Are you gathering an army from this forum ? ..

Did they ever matter ? The interview they did always interested me. But the reviews were always gag worthy and the box office always told a different story 😆
