If you have money and power you can buy PR space in pinkvilla, zoom tv, filmfare and Hello magazine. This is something known by many people in PR. Other sources of media can be easily brought by money. Give a journalist some gift cards and holiday abroad. He/she will print everything for your favor.

Buying PR space for own publicity is a known thing. However in Sushant's case it was continuous planting of negative stories using various sources over a longer period of time setting off a narrative of ' he is difficult to work with' harming him professionally . I don't think the industry people care for personal shenanigans . So even though personal blinds were also galore...it is when the professional space was attacked , was when the harm happened.

Oh the social service that they does in making people aware of dark side of Bollywood. I wonder itna karte hai toh itne guts kyun nahi hai ki naam bhi le sakein?

Defamation case thopenge unn pe iss liye. Unke sources mostly celebs ke staff hote hai. How will they prove their sources? The sources will completely deny ever saying anything. Issiliye bina naam ke blinds chhapte the. Pehle genuine hote the phir PR teams ne unko kharid liya and genuiness went out of the window.

Personally I feel these guys start genuinely and aggressively to threaten the celebs so that they start giving them money or you know help them with their career. This is how Rajeev Masand became a top critic. He writes so much shit about these celebs in his blinds how on earth do they still come to his show and give him interviews? Most probably he uses his blinds to blackmail them and the celebs turn it into a business relationship. Even Pinkvilla started of as a simple site then went onto interviewing celebsItna progress? . Same with spoteboy. They all have the same pattern. So basically this is not charity but a tool to get a grip on the industry.

P.s: On a second thought this sounds very stupid too. Will celeb really care about what he wrote on their personal life? Atleast to the point of feeling threaten. All he does is write stuffs of them cheating, sleeping around and stuffs like that. Sushant had a reason to feel threatened cause it was more about his career. But still it has always made me wonder how come he writes about these celebs and they still sit with him for an interview. How does this duality works.

Who are we here? If you've read the article Mayank Shekhar said while taking interviews he used to judge Sushant by the gossips/fake stories he had read about Sushant. Toh iss we mein BW lovers se le kar BW wale bhi padte hai. Party mein jao toh female celebs dur bhaagte hai, IG mein koi aur celebs comments ya like nahin karte hai.

Blinds sab hi padte hai.Jin logo ke saath roz kq uthna baithna woh bhi, Jin logo ko life mein pehli baar mil rahe ho woh bhi.

I thought you meant other celebs won't bother reading Masand's blinds on personal life, hence I replied

But it seems you meant the subject him/herself. Still personal life gossips also do bother if it says the guy is a drunkard harrases women, the girl is easy or a hoe (Imagine the harassments she'd have to face from her next heroes and directors)

Oh yes I meant the latter. I m sure it bothers them which is why I went with the first theory of all these bollywood sites using it as a leverage. But now I also think straightaway saying these blind writers can blackmail them with it is also a little extreme. Maybe with outsiders and less powerful insiders it might work but he has also written about top star kids and producers too. All those blinds about Ranbir , Aditya Chopra and then Arjun. He outed Arjun's affair even before he debuted. Were these people affected by him to a point where he can blackmail them into striking a business deal? They are not that powerless to be that easily arm twisted. Then why do they still keep association with him despite him writing those blinds?

It is called negative PR.

This is continuously done by businessmen and politicians to tear apart their enemies reputation. This called defamation in legal terms. I have beared this in real life.
Shushant should have hired a private detective and collected all proofs. He should have approached a police station registered a defamation complain under IPC 499 and IPC 500. Its not tough job for a bollywood actor. Generally police and courts do support this IPC.
