Bollywood seems dull without talented outsider like him. I used to listen to his songs on repeat, it's sad. Kriti was there at the funeral. I wish he quit movies and did business abroad if this industry was cruel. This industry always overhype ugly no talent nepo kids

Clearly not. No one stood up for him when his character was being maligned. Molesting or making uncalled for sexual advances are serious accusations that can damage your name and brand even when they're fabricated and untrue. All it takes is someone to write a piece on it and your name hardly ever recovers from it. Because there are always people ready to believe rumors.

Even actual rapists and criminals are afforded the presumption of innocence. So when it comes to these stupid blind items and articles published by psuedo-intellectuals, the policy should always be innocent until proven guilty too.

Actual criminals are actually celebrated in the industry. I consider that way more "off" than anything Sushant has said and done.

Nah. Sushant wasn't big enough to be envied by anyone. It was more that they didn't really consider him or think that much about him. His personality was off putting for many. Even actresses, who logically have no competition with him, ended up having issues with him. Something happened with Sara and he deleted all her pics. Kriti unfollowed him too. I think his depression made him act in ways that were not understandable to most people so they kept him at a distance.

Every single of his co star has nothing but nice things to say about him. His Sonchiriya and Chhichhore cast genuinely liked him. Even Kriti seems to adore Sush although it did seem like something happened between them last year and they drifted apart. Even Saif said Sara used to talk highly of Sushant's intelligence ( again dont know what happened between them too) Not just his co stars but even his directors loved him.Shekhar Kapoor didn't even get to make Paani with him but still remained in touch with him. So to say his personality was off putting is a bullshit. However I do feel he had a habit of isolating himself from his friends.

Indeed, and yet they freely throw their weight around, sabotage people's careers at their whim and emerge out of it as victorious phenonmena in the eyes of audience.

If only .... if only we could do something about this "audience" but alas, the best we can do is avoid their movies.

I don’t think Kriti unfollowed Sushant due to to his depression but due to he broke up with her. We don’t know what exactly happened between Sara and Sushant. Because they became very good friends. But Saif and Amrita did not liked Sushant at all. Even kareena interviewed Sara and she said never date your first co star. Hinting do not date Sushant. I loved their chemistry a lot. Sara even went to his house to visit him which her parents didn’t liked. Then Sushant deleted all of her pictures and unfollowed her. Perhaps he thought she was unique and different. Shraddha never complained about him, I think she understood him and became his very good friend. He even gifted her a book. And she thanked him on social media. Yes he was different from other actors, he followed his heart. He could had been an astronaut today but he chose Bollywood. His dad was not happy with his decision but he always chosen to follow his heart. All the actresses say how much he helps them which is rare to see. Me too controversy broke him. Too much hatred and too much preplanned blinds. First make fun of him in kwk, then plan fake blinds, and then write him off. He was a human and not a robot. He always shown love to everyone and all he got was rejection and fake blinds. At one point your body and heart becomes numb.

Sushant had no friends in Bollywood. He had few good friends in Tellywood.

true. I wish he just chosen to continue his studies and did something else. I am disappointed in Sara.

Tbh its difficult to have genuine friends with people in Bollywood, both Ranveer and Deepika's best friends are non stars, they are people they knew from their childhood. They have friends in bollywood but they are not their close friends that they cud rely on all the time. That's why no bollywood star was invited to their wedding in Italy

As a mother, why would she not want her daughter hanging around with an intelligent and hard working person? She might have been aware of the maligning articles. But everyone knew they had been clarified within weeks that they were false? Excuse my speculation but it does hint of some internal conspiracy to side line him. If he had Sara were caught handing that would have given him a lot of buzz. People were constantly trying to pretend like he doesn't exist.

I can understand Sara's parents (Amrita in this case) not wanting her to associate herself with a guy who looked visibly disturbed. Especially in his last interviews, the one with Faridoon, he acts very restless and distracted. Still sounds brilliant, but very restless, and that must have seeped in to other interactions around him as well. Amrita might have noticed that and out of her motherly concern towards her own daughter, probably wanted Sara to maintain a distance.

Kareena, on the other hand ... let's not even go there.
