As far I know he didn’t had a genuine friend in Bollywood. Him and Sara Ali khan were friends and he really liked her. But something happened and he deleted all the Instagram pictures and unfollowed her. Sushant tried to be friends with Kartik by sending them good wishes on his movie with Kriti. But kartik always hesitated to respond his kind gesture.

Karan Johar always made fun of him and never invited him in kwk. He was replaced in sadak 2, aashiqui 2. His servant gave the statement he didn’t had the money to pay their salary. He was getting his treatment for his depression and was not talking to anyone. For this I agree with Kangana that Karan j only support star kids. Sushant was one of the best actors we had, still he was struggling to get a movie. He was ignored at parties, made fun of. He did not had a connection.

All these star kids get movies, who have no talent. And good actors struggle. Srk and Deepika response was very low. I am sorry.

I just wish Sushant taken a break from Bollywood and not ended his life. I am so heartbroken of his news. He was unique, and always thought he will make more amazing movies. He was suffering from so much pain, the pain was created by these Bollywood biggies. He never gotten the attention as he should gotten. I pray for his peace.

and now kjo, kartik and Sara a khan showing concern. When he is no more. We all know saif did not liked sushant either. I always thought Sara and Sushant Will coming in movies again.

RIP 😢😢😢

It's indeed incredibly sad😭

I honestly don't think he had a genuine friend in the industry, and that's heartbreaking. Saw some previous interviews with him and Kriti and they seemed super friendly with one another. But who knows what anyone is like off camera :(

Nobody has friends in BW. Everyone is friendly while they're working together and then they get friendly with the next team they're working with.

BW is a workplace. People are there to work.

I have met some of my closest friends at the work place. True it might not have been as competitive as Bollywood. It was more of a paid volunteer experience I did to take a break between grad school and college.

That's a different situation. Everyone is there to do some good. Someone else's success won't hurt you and vice versa.

In regular jobs, you meet friends but it hardly lasts. If you quit your job and move somewhere else, it hardly lasts. You might keep in touch with 1 or 2 people but most of the time, that fades away too.

BW is too competitive and everyone is fighting for the same roles and same endorsements and same awards. Also most of BW doesn't even see each other unless they're doing a movie together. Like how often did Sushant see Salman or SRK? Hardly ever. Maybe once in 6 months at an event. You don't become friends from seeing each other for 5 minutes every few months.

Envy—the distress people feel when others get what they want—is universal. Over the past 10 years, we have studied hundreds of executives and their organizations in an effort to discover what role this deadly sin plays in the workplace. We have found that regardless of the economic climate, people at all levels of a firm are vulnerable to envy.

Envy has sometimes been described as a social microscope. When others’ successes in the workplace bother you, you become ruminative. You obsess over interactions with rivals, compare your rewards, and overanalyze even the fleeting praise the boss bestows on others. Your least-generous self surfaces as you try to boost your fragile ego at your rivals’ expense.

Going back to Manoj Bajpai statement that was not given the attention it needs, "But in this industry if you are talented, first of all everybody will be jealous of your talent. So if they are jealous of your talent, they will try to push you away. They will try to ignore you. They will try to pull you back.”

Going back to Abhishek Kapoor statement that star kids are given an advantage by the media. Film makers take them for the publicity they will already bring to the project. Sometimes they end up being somewhat talented other times a director manages to wing a performance out of them somehow. But we still don't know how to appreciate genuine talent. That comes into the industry due to their talent and not the media we can't seem to give it the validation it deserves.

To think that Sonam has won a national award and Sushant didn't win any awards.

I said this before and I will say it again. Sushant was the all rounder. He was better looking than almost all the male star kids with the exception of ARK maybe. He made it on genuine talent. He was more intelligent than most of the star kids combined. He was a trained dancer. In an industry as competitive as Bollywood. Of course he didn't have many friends.

Kriti, Abhishek Kapoor, Shraddha and maybe even Shekhar Kapoor might have been the exceptions.

Nah. Sushant wasn't big enough to be envied by anyone. It was more that they didn't really consider him or think that much about him. His personality was off putting for many. Even actresses, who logically have no competition with him, ended up having issues with him. Something happened with Sara and he deleted all her pics. Kriti unfollowed him too. I think his depression made him act in ways that were not understandable to most people so they kept him at a distance.

Im sure that is what you would like to believe. Other work places have people with personalities that are off putting but I am sure no one recieves the treatment Sushant received. In fact there was nothing off putting about his personality. The things he was mocked for would have been celebrated in any other industry. In fact knowing how to get a long with each other is considered vital in many work environment because there is collaboration in group project but there is also the need to maintain a healthy atmosphere. The mocking and release of blind items were not symptoms of people not thinking much of him.

Amrita intervened. She did not like Sara with Sushant.

Sushant had no friends in Bollywood. He had few good friends in Tellywood.

Clearly not. No one stood up for him when his character was being maligned. Molesting or making uncalled for sexual advances are serious accusations that can damage your name and brand even when they're fabricated and untrue. All it takes is someone to write a piece on it and your name hardly ever recovers from it. Because there are always people ready to believe rumors.

Even actual rapists and criminals are afforded the presumption of innocence. So when it comes to these stupid blind items and articles published by psuedo-intellectuals, the policy should always be innocent until proven guilty too.
