I know it sounds creepy but I have heard true stories about planchette, even rabindranath Tagore used to do it since most of his family members including his wife and children died before him .

I have heard many stories from one of my friends who actually introduced me to the concept ,I had no idea just like you all.

I feel law and spiritual beliefs should be kept separate! Not that I don’t respect people’s beliefs. But law is universal. Spiritual beliefs differ from person to person.

They say if god exists then ghost exists too. Many people refuse to believe in spirits etc. But again its an individual belief and it differs from people to people. I've also heard about how if the person is unhappy while dying, his soul may or may not rest in peace. That's why in Hinduism its mandatory to do terahvin (thirteenth day) and punyatithi (death anniversary) which includes Puja and havan. Its mainly performed for the soul to rest in peace. At least the concept of Ouija board/Planchettes are completely foreign with respect to our family (Hindus). Many wouldn't prefer to call spirits. Also its believed that once you call the spirits, it might be difficult to send them back. The whole thought is extremely scary tbh. Spirits can be both good and evil, a good spirit might not harm you but an evil spirit, the consequences can be quite detrimental.
