Nope not wrong for accepting opportunities her mentor wants to give her.

it is wrong to know how he is getting some of those opportunities she gets on a platter and not raising a word against it. Imo, yes

the thing with her is that she willingly accepts such offers, accepts kjo’s constant praise for her on kwk, and acts as if she deserves full credit for her success.Is that wrong? No not technically. But don’t act entitled and like you are the sh*t if you have nothing to show for it

Is she a good to decent actress, yes. But she ain’t the best.

Definitely don’t think she should be bullied or ganged up on sm no matter what the situation is.

Lol this is very craftly written by someone to make Alia look like the victim. Let me say this. Alia never had to work hard in the industry after her first film. If another girl who looked like her and got the reviews she got after SOTY, she would be working her way up from C grade movies. Instead she got an Imtiaz Ali movie. Alia is wrong for getting movie after movie not because the director is impressed with her talent but her mentor lobbies for her. Alia is wrong from taking roles like "Dear Zindagi" away from other actresses. Alia is wrong for knowing that being in every written dream script due to lobbying is preventing other talented actresses prettier than her from showcasing their talent. Alia is wrong because her mentor buys her the awards every single year. Chichore did twice the business as Gully Boy. Chichore was critically acclaimed. Chichore was the better film according an intellectually educated film critic. Yet Gully Boy got the awards. Yes, Alia might not know who the President is. But Alia can't be naive that all the machinery that goes behind making mediocre girls like her happen. Prevents more talented, hard working and MUCH better looking actresses from coming on screen. They have no chances. She gets things handed to her on a platter.

Of course we can tell the difference between a game and a reality. But we aren't dumb enough to assume that KWK isn't scripted to some extent. To make it looks like Parineeti, Sonam and Alia didn't know who is was or didn't find him appealing? When he was better looking than most of the star kids. Meanwhile Karan Johar and Aamir calling her the hottest girl in Bollywood on the show wasn't scripted. When she is junk in terms of appearance. Proof people who haven't been fead the hype Karan Johar created around her wouldn't take a second look at her. Even host felt bad and gave her one vote at the end.

These were actual votes. Not scripted opinions like Karan got from Sonam, Alia and Parineeti. You can tell because the host didn't expect to feel so bad for Alia or else he never votes.

Also she is dumb. Pretending like people can't differentiate from real life and a game isn't going to change the fact she is uneducated. And the level of lack of general knowledge not knowing the President of your own country shows is profound. Even Sarah Palin the joke here for her stupidity knew that much!!

I have to say one thing though I read article saying DZ was offered to Katrina first than I am glad karan called the director to cast Alia in the movie because I liked her acting in the movie. Katrina don’t know how to act but she is beautiful with amazing body in songs. But I would’ve preferred someone like deepika or kangana doing movie like dz since it was about mental health

Again how many times has Kat done a meaty role like that with a good director? She was good in Zero maybe if she got more opportunities like Zero or New York? Wouldn't have been different to see another actress in a good role? How different was this role from Highway? Both characters had mental health and trauma from childhood? It was anything new we have seen from Alia. A different actress could have given the film a different flavor. I agree maybe not Kat, but Deepika, Kangana, Sonakshi or someone else would have been great.
