Sushant being a choice for Ram Leela?

Since this topic came up again and I saw someone post on social media about this too I started to google what was happening back then.

This YRF didn’t allow Sushant to sign Ram Leela but let ranveer sign it both had the same deal.

maybe his fans from the beginning know when he got his first movie after quitting TV.

Sushant signed his first movie Kai Po Che with UTV and started shooting in April 2012.

According to this article from pinkvilla/rediff there was a deal going on that YRF wants to sign Sushant.

Here is one article November 2012 that says that Sushant couldn’t sign a YRF movie because of UTV contract. But when he got the offer for maneesh he asked them to let him sign YRF.

So Sushant was quite hyped I must say for someone like him as an outsider the articles mentioned who he was meeting but never was mentioned that he met sanjay Leela bhansali.

So I searched Ram Leela and yes maybe Bhansali wanted Ranbir but Imran Abbas was associated with Ram Leela also a no name for Bollywood.

But since YRF gave the copy of the contract to the police we will know more but going by the timeline Sushant wasn’t signed for YRF at that time when Bhansali approached ranveer. There are also zoom videos from February 2012 bhansali and ranveer.

So either Sushant couldn’t sign because of UTV and when the deal with YRF was happening ranveer was already ready to start shooting.
So How cant they allow him when they didn’t sign the deal?

The fallout happened with YRF in 2015 after ranveer was announced for Befikre.

Suddenly Sushant leaves YRF and these articles were all over media. First paani is shelved and then he gives Befikre to ranveer which was for him and see there Ram Leela is mentioned out of nowhere.

So in this articles Sushant mentiones that he expected from Mr. Invincible a project and said he wasn’t approached for befikre.

So I really wonder who put this contract thing into the world ?
