~Outside Arjun's Room~
It's already 11 AM in the morning, Arjun has not gained his consciousness, making everyone worry about him. Along with Arjun's parents, the whole ETF is at the hospital waiting for him to open his eyes. They all want to meet him at least once before they will get engaged in solving two cases of Arjun’s parent's attack and Arjun’s attempted murder attack. They all freshen up before reaching the hospital again in the early morning. After her conversation with Arjun's dad, Riya has moderately stopped her crying session, and waiting for Arjun to open his eyes.
~Arjun's POV~
Arjun is trying to open his eyes with great difficulty, the more he is compelled to open his eyes the more pain accelerates through in his body making him moan in pain. In his unconsciousness, he is trying to remember whatever had happened to him and how four people had tricked before attacking him. He couldn't remember anyone's face clearly, but he captured the masked man's eyes and the symbol on his nape in his intellect. With all the strength in his body, he left out a painful moan to alert the person who is monitoring that he is awake or at least trying to so. The nurse who is checking his pulse heard his moans and she sighed in relief before contacting the chief doctor through the intercom.
~Outside Arjun's room~
Everyone saw doctors are running inside the Arjun's room, they got panicked thinking about the negative aspects, because of the sudden visit of doctors in Arjun's room. Even Chotu tried to stop one doctor for the reasons of sudden running, but Dr.Rudra showed his hand like, wait for 5 mins and run towards Arjun's room to monitor his health.
Dr.Rudra is checking Arjun's pulse and other necessary tests before ensuring his family that Arjun has gained his consciousness after 15 hours of the long wait. Once he made sure everything is alright with him, went outside to call his family and ETF.
"ACP has gained his conscious, You guys can meet him, but make sure you are not draining his energy. He is still weak to respond, let him heal first and then you can start your interrogation later" Dr.Rudra instructed to everyone who is waiting for Arjun, especially the interrogation part looking at Rathod.
"Yes, we will wait till he completely heals until then no interrogation" Mr.Rawte assured to him.
"You all can go and meet him. He needs to take complete bed rest for 3 to 4 weeks at least to recover thoroughly before joining in the fieldwork" Dr.Rudra advised them before leaving the place with his assistants. Everyone agreed with the doctor before moving inside to see Arjun.
~ Arjun's room~
A single teardrop is visible at the corner of both of his eyes to show, how much effort he is putting to open his eyes fully. Arjun's family and ETF including Zain are watching his eye movements. Arjun tried to move his right hand to rub his eyes to clear his vision before watching everyone, this act made the pain run through in his right arm make him yelp in pain. Though he is wearing an oxygen mask others can hear his painful moan.
After 2 to 3 mins Arjun was able to open his eyes fully making others pleased to see him. He started to roam his eyes from his family to ETF and Zain. All of them looked so worried for him that made him chuckle inwardly seeing their concern, especially the ETF team, he does know everyone cares for him, but this much concern he didn't imagine it from the people he met a few months ago. But Rathod and Riya are exceptional cases precisely Riya, the girl who is breaking the steel wall around his heart slowly but steadily and she can go any extent to help him or cure his pain without he is being asked out. Surprisingly, she is looking down at the ground instead of her routine staring at him. He moved his eyes from Riya to his mother who is watching him with clouded eyes, along with his dad who is watching him with a sliver line of tears in his deep black eyes.
"I'm..." Arjun tried to reply in a hoarse voice, but the oxygen mask and the weakness is not let him talk freely, So he tried to remove the mask using his right hand forgetting his injury, the sudden movement of his hand caught everyone's attention.
"Ahhh, " He sighed outwardly getting undivided attention from his mother and Riya who is looking down.
"Don't remove it, you are still fragile to talk without oxygen support, Arjun" Mr.Rawte tried to make his son understand the seriousness of his acts.
Arjun tried to oppose his father for stopping him, but he couldn't do that in front of everyone so he nodded his head disheartened. Using his left hand, he showed some signs like 'wipe your tears' looking at his mother who is crying now. Seeing his efforts his mother quietly wiped her tears thus making him return the small smile through the mask.
"Take care of yourself, Arjun" Mrs.Rawte asked him while stroking his hair softly and placed the soft kiss on his forehead. Arjun blinked his eyes assuringly.
Mr.Rawte looked at Riya who is hiding her petite frame behind Chotu so that his son won't see her swollen eyes and red cheeks due to excessive crying. He gestured his wife to come out of the room and said, "Let's go outside Aadhirai and Arjun needs rest to recover completely ".
Mr.Rawte stroked Arjun's hair softly, before leaving the room. Now ETF is looking at Arjun with concerned eyes that make Arjun roll his eyes mentally.
"Get well soon, Rawte," Rathod said in a choked voice looking at his pale face. Arjun nodded his head.
Everyone has asked him to take care of him not to strain himself, except one person who is hiding behind Chotu. Rathod looked at Riya who is looking down rather on Arjun, he feels both of them need some time to process their feelings or some privacy so he motioned the others to leave the room without telling them.
Riya looked up from the ground to see Arjun with glistening eyes, making him feel bad her. He didn't know whether to embrace in his arms or to ask her to away from him to protect her. It's like he needs her badly at the same time he doesn't need her. So confusing yet so evident. He raised his right-hand difficulty to reach her who is standing a good 5 feet away from him, but when the pain shoots through his body, he draws his hand back to in a recline position.
"P..... Please" Arjun whispered against the oxygen mask desperately, to stop her tears which is rolling down on her cheeks uncontrollable.
Riya gasped hearing his painful whispers to comfort her, though he is in pain. She started to wipe her tears hurriedly on the back of her hand.
"Don't struggle yourself so much to talk, I'm not crying, see" She smiled softly showing her dimples to make him understand that she is not crying or at least pretend like she is not crying.
Arjun closed his eyes with a sigh looking at her devastated state.
"Take care of yourself" Riya mumbled, looking at his deep brown eyes which are staring back her black eyes with some unknown emotions, and She couldn't name it those feelings or to say the feelings she is not aware of it.
She started to walk out of his room without hearing his reply because she certainly doesn't want him to worry about her unnecessarily that too when he is in a hospital bed. Arjun is trying to go open his eyes to capture her, it seems his body is giving up to the sedatives that are making him slip into a deep slumber.
~Oustide Arjun's room~
Riya silently came from his room and joined with ETF who is standing with Arjun's parents.
"We will investigate who attacked Rawte, and this hospital is under our custody so you guys no need to worry about his safety, but still don't allow anyone to see him except doctors. We will go back to ETF to investigate your case along with Rawte's attack case" Rathod informed to Mr.Rawte.
"Honestly, I don't care about our attackers, but I want you guys to find out who did the attack on my son? ," Mr.Rawte replied in a determined tone.
"Yes, we will," Rathod said to him confidently.Mr.Rawte nodded his head after ETF assured him to find the culprits. Soon they left the hospital to investigate the cases.
At ETF Premises
Everyone inside the conference room looking tense for Arjun's safety.
"Chotu and Sree, bring that Siddarth Shetty here, If we treat him in our way, he will blurt out all the truth and I'm damn sure he has something to do with Mr.Rawte's attack" Rathod ordered him with a hint of assurance thinking about the Shetty behavior when they met him at Rawte's empire.
"Yes, sir, we will bring him here, "Chotu said in a gritted teeth.
Saying this Chotu and Sree left to Rawte's empire to bring Siddarth.
~After 1 hour~
Chotu, Sree came along with Mr.Shetty to the ETF interrogation room where Rathod, Ayesha, Riya, and Liza are waiting eagerly for them. Siddarth looked at them murderously the way he was being treated by the ETF.
"Do you guys don't have the slightest idea Who am I? , I will screw you guys! Leave me this instant" Siddarth shouted in anger.
"Actually, we also want to know who you are, and Your connections with the attackers of Mr.Rawte! , and we will find that in our own way If you have a problem in opening your mouth" Ayesha said while taking her gun from the holster.
Siddharth frightened looking at the gun and tried to wriggle out of Chotu's clutches. When Chotu felt he is trying to escape punched him hard on his face and he made Siddarth sit on the chair forcefully.
"Truth, only Truth. We knew you were hiding something from us, it is better if you confess on your own, if not the outcome would be dreadful" Rathod warned him before he thinks of lying on their faces.
Looking at the determination in their faces Siddarth blurted out the truth, before ETF takes away his breath for lying," Yes, we did the attack on him but alas his personal guards saved him".All gasped at his sudden outburst and looked at him dangerously.
"I'm not Siddarth Shetty, but I'm Siddarth Shinde the only son of Mr.Govind Shinde" Siddarth replied proudly.
"What?" Sree shouted out of shock.
"Yes, I had to hide my true identity because this Rawte's group growing rapidly making us lose our name in the market, so we made a plan to murder them but the plan was failing," Siddarth confessed their deeds.
"But Rawte's empire was grown up already, how can you say your company lost the name in the market because of them?" Riya questioned confused.
"I do agree they are well established in the market, because of that reason we couldn't get single projects for us. So I had joined Rawte's empire 5 months back to notice their activity and tried to steal the deal pieces of information before planning an attack on them" Siddarth said guilty for attacking them.
"Don't you know this is against the law? And you should achieve something on your own honestly, not by killing people and stealing their work, just because someone is growing in society! " Rathod said disgustingly thinking about their mentality to pull down people.
"I knew, we are wrong, we were so blind in revenge that we couldn't see what is right and wrong!"Siddarth agreed with Rathod.
"You and your father are under arrest for planning a murder attempt on Mr.and Mrs.Rawte," Rathod said looking at Siddarth's guilty eyes.
"Chotu, arrest Mr.Shinde and hand over them to Mumbai local police" Rathod ordered Chotu.
At least they are all happy to find Mr.Rawte's attackers now they can concentrate on Arjun's case without any barriers. At first, Rathod thought to call Arjun's dad, but he is afraid of his rejections and the way he limited himself to talk to him openly so he had phoned Zain's number.
Zain's Phone conversion
"Yes, ACP Sir." Zain greeted Rathod.
We found the culprit of Mr.Rawte's attackers and guess who it is?" Rathod questioned him.
"Don't tell me it is Siddarth Shetty!" Zain asked him doubtfully.
"Yes, it is Siddarth but his original name is Siddarth Shinde!" Rathod confirmed his doubts.
"What?" Zain asked him shocked. Rathod explained everything how Shinde's manipulated to join the company until they fail attack on Rawte's.
"We arrested Siddarth and his dad, so don't worry!" Rathod assured him.
"What about Arjun's attackers?" Zain questioned him expectantly.
"Soon we will catch the attackers and yeah, Don't forget to inform this to your boss," Rathod told him, before winding off the call.
Mr.Rawte who is standing with Zain looked at him questioningly and he told him everything about Shinde's plan and arrest.
"What happened to Arjun's case?" Mr.Rawte questioned him desperately.
"No clue as of now, let's wait till Arjun recovers Sir, and I'm sure ETF will find the lead of attackers," Zain assured his boss.
"They have to find the lead, Zain otherwise it would be dangerous for so many lives!" Mr.Rawte whispered.
Zain looked at him confused about his dual meaning of the words. But he thought if it is important his boss would let him know so he didn't cross-question his boss.
Lifeline hospital
~Arjun's Room around 7.00 PM~
The doctors removed the oxygen mask once they are confirmed that Arjun can breathe on his own much to his parent's relief. Mr & Mrs. Rawte inside the room and Mrs.Rawte is holding milk glass for Arjun, but he is making bad faces looking at the milk glass.
"I don't like this hospital and empty walls of this room, please take me home, Dad" Arjun whispered under his breath thinking about the past where he had lost his wife and his child. Honestly, this place is scaring him like a trembled dry leaf.
"You are injured badly, at least for a week you have to stay at the hospital, Arjun. No other option!" Mr.Rawte replied softly reading his son's mind and he does know why he is scared of the hospitals and empty walls of his room. To change his mindset he asked the next question.
"I told you to take your gun, Man. Didn't I?" Mr.Rawte questioned glaring at his son.
"That was unexpected, dad and How do I know they were attackers in the name of informers!" Arjun tried to reason himself.
"You are a cop for God's sake behave like one instead of behaving like a kid who is blind in some bloody criminal hideouts!" Mr.Rawte screamed angrily for his reckless behavior.
"You do know whom I'm searching, dad" Arjun replied softly while sipping milk.
"Not at the cost of you, Arjun. That man is going overboard now if I get hold of him, I will kill him with my bare hands spoiling our lives unnecessarily in revenge" Mr.Rawte said in agony.
Arjun has been amazed to see his dad losing patience easily just talking about him.
"Both of you stop it, we will think about it later, First, let him heal soon and you are not stepping out of our home for one month before you heal completely" Mrs.Rawte ordered looking at Arjun's pale face.
"What? No, No Mom, One month is too long and I was healing already, just one week I can get back to routine life" Arjun pleaded his Mom.
"Your Mother is right and You aren't going to join the ETF soon and I will make sure that you didn't join before you completely recover. And you know I have my own way to make you agree with us, Arjun" Mr.Rawte challenged Arjun.
"This is not fair, Dad and Mom," Arjun said annoyingly.
Arjun's parents smiled at him proudly looking at his defeat.
After 3 days
~At ETF Premises~
All ETF members present in the conference room, for the past 2 days they are trying to find Arjun's culprits by going through crime spots which are outside his mansion and investigating almost all the criminals in the Mumbai, but everything going in vain except the empty cans of fake smoke bombs in the crime spot. Suddenly Rathod got a call from Mumbai local police that four people surrendered themselves as Arjun's attackers which had happened three days ago. Everyone sprinted to the gate to reach the police station.
~Borivali police station~
ETF reached the police station after 45 mins of travel. An inspector recognized ETF and they lead them to the interrogation room where they are locked up the four criminals.
"Here are they! " Inspector said, pointing out four goons who are sitting on the wooden bench.
"We will handle them and thanks for informing!" Rathod replied sincerely, the inspector nodded his head and left the place and he does know how these four goons are going to be interrogated by the ETF.
ETF surrounded the criminals and waiting for them to open their mouths.
"Tell us!, Why did you attack ACP Rawte?" Rathod questioned them calmly to control his raging mind before killing them.
"We wanted to take revenge on ACP Rawte for arresting us in illegal drug dealing, so we had followed him for 2 days before attacking him at the outside his mansion" One goon replied as the way his speech was scripted by the caller.
"Revenge, You guys would try to kill police officers for revenge, great!" Sree exclaimed angrily.
"In which year ACP Arjun arrested you guys in the illegal drug case?" Riya asked them suspiciously. Because she felt something is off with these people and the way they are telling each line carefully like they practiced those lines 100 times before reaching the police station for surrender.
"Two years ago in Mumbai" One goon replied confusingly, but not meeting her suspicious eyes.
Everyone stunned at the revelations, after listening to them and they know he is lying because two years ago, in which police station Arjun had worked is a mystery to everyone data is not even available in the official records of the police department. Riya takes the gun from the holster and pointed the gun towards one of the goon's head without shivering hand for holding the gun.
"Just the Truth, Otherwise the bullets will penetrate through your thick skull without any second thoughts, and Don't tell me I didn't warn you, before triggering the gun. Because Arjun sir wasn't working in Mumbai two years ago. Who send you guys here to surrender for ACP's attempted murder?" Riya pushed the gun to his forehead tightly to scare him.
Others look at her surprisingly for her behavior, this is not their Riya who is afraid of holding a gun and killing people and she is not the same girl who had a verbal fight with Arjun for not handling guns properly.
Straight away Rathod stuffed the gun to one of the goon's mouths to scare him so that they could blurt out the truth.
"Please, don't kill me, Madam and, Sir, I will tell you whatever I knew " Goons pleaded to look at the determination in Riya and Rathod's eyes.
"We didn't attack ACP, we just followed whatever instructed to us!" One goon replied shiveringly.
"Who instructed you?" Riya questioned him with gritted teeth.
"We didn't know who was that! I just received a call 5 days back that we have to surrender for ACP's attempted murder and we have to say whatever story they are telling to police and ETF after surrendering." Goon's head said scaringly.
"Don't lie, how come you are not aware of who called you to work?" This time Ayesha barked them angrily.
"No, No, Madam, We really don't know anything. A few months ago, we were working for Rahim for illegal drug dealing in the outskirts of the Mumbai, but after he was murdered, we were jobless until this call from Rahim's boss. We are not sure who called us, because he didn't tell his name, we just guessed that man has to be Rahim's boss since he mentioned Rahim's name while talking to us." Goon replied thinkingly for sometimes about the mysterious caller.
"Give me the mobile in which you got a call!" Rathod asked them.
"Sree, track the number in which he got the call and Chotu take these people to under ETF custody" Rathod ordered Choree.
Riya's face is blank like a white sheet listening to them and she can guess it, who is behind Arjun! , This was Sikander who sent hitmen to attack Arjun but she cannot tell this Rathod before confirming it so kept her mouth silent not uttering any words.
After 1 week
~At ETF Premises~
Arjun was discharged from the hospital exactly after one week and during this entire week hardly ETF came to meet him since they were busy finding the truth about the caller. The surprising fact of the caller was he had used private numbers to call goons and the duration of the call was quite long, but still, they couldn't trace the location of the number thus making the dead-end of all the routes to reach Arjun's attackers.
~Around 4 PM~
"Today, we are going to Rawte's home to see him so everyone gets ready!" Rathod announced making everyone jump in happiness especially Riya who is looking gloomy for the entire week. He smiled at them affectionately and the way they are all craving to meet Arjun, but still their duty stopped them doing their heart wishes.
"Sharp 7 in the evening, let's meet at Rawte's mansion and I will send the address to Chotu, so while coming to his home bring Sree, Riya, and liza with you!" Rathod said suggestively to Chotu.
"Yes, Sir" Chotu agreed with him.
"Thank you, Sir" others replied cheerfully to Rathod because without being said he understood their inner turmoil to see Arjun.
Rathod smirked at them for their childish behavior and playfully, "Don't be late and I want everyone on time"
Everyone nodded their head happily before leaving the office to get ready to meet Arjun.
Rawte's Mansion
~Around 7.00 PM in the evening~
Mr & Mrs. Rawte are sitting in the mansion with a worried expression especially Arjun's Mother.
"Where is he? Does he take medicines on time? Why do you let him stay in his room instead you should have asked him to rest in the lobby with us." Mr.Rawte asked her concernedly thinking about Arjun's mood off.
"I feel Arjun is pushing us away from him again, Surya "Aadhirai murmured under her breath thinking about Arjun's behavior for the last 2 days.
" No, he must be tired otherwise he would never behave that way to us, Aadhirai," Mr.Ratwe said in uncertainty for his son closed-off behavior.
"No, He is following the same path as he had followed two years ago when Roshini was slaughtered," Mrs.Rawte said confidently about Arjun tactics to make them stay away from him.
"He wants to protect us, that doesn't mean that he will push everyone away from him in the pretext of saving us!. I won't let him to that again!" Mr.Rawte said determinedly to feed some sense to his super cop son.
"Please, tell him that don't push us again! , Surya!"Aadhirai cried to her husband pleadingly to stay with her son.
" Don't cry, Aadhirai and this time Arjju cannot force us to leave him and It's high time he should understand that pushing people close to his heart don't let him live happily and he can't safeguard others when staying away from them, connected with people don't make him weak but it will make him stronger," Mr.Rawte said confidently and he has to make his son understand this matter.
"Will he stay with us, Surya? Will he agree with us? What if he has plans already to execute his plans? " Mrs.Rawte questioned her husband confused thinking about Arjun's tactics and his way of making people agree with him though they don't like it.
"If he is Arjun Rawte and I'm Suryakant Rawte and I know how to make his crook mind straight on track and this time I have someone also on our side to help us this time!" Mr.Rawte smirked proudly thinking about his plans and his son's recent weakness certain pretty girl Riya.
Mrs.Rawte looked at him confusingly for his puzzled answers and asked him confusing, "Who is that someone?"
"I will tell you later, Jaan, but at the right time" Mr.Rawte replied to her smilingly.
Their talk was interrupted by the ringing of the doorbell and the Kaka, who is a servant of the house opened the door and let the whole ETF enter the lobby. Arjun's parents invited them happily looking at their concerned face for Arjun.
"You guys wait, I will bring tea along with some snacks " Mrs.Rawte replied fondly while walking towards the kitchen.
"No need, madam. We came to see Arjun's sir" Ayesha answered politely to stop her, but it was too late, she is already in the kitchen making beverages.
"Of course you can meet him, but not before having something to eat," Mr.Rawte announced everyone in the room.
Mr.Rawte is observed Riya's face, the way she is fidgeting her fingers and looking here and there to catch a glimpse of Arjun.
"Just 5 mins, she will come!" Mr.Rawte said looking at Riya's pale face.
She just politely smiled at him not to embarrass herself further in front of everyone to show her eagerness to meet Arjun. Soon Mrs.Rawte and Kaka came with beverages and snacks. They started to serve coffee and tea to everyone in the room. After drinking the drinks they are placed the empty cups at the table before asking Arjun's parents permission to meet Arjun. They nodded their head happily looking at the desperation to see him.
"First floor second left corridor room is Arjun's" Mrs.Rawte replied softly looking at them.
After listening to the direction of his room they literally ran towards the staircase to reach him. Riya is jumping in the staircase missing the steps in between hurriedly. Rathod looked at her running figure and he stopped others by showing his hand.
"Let her meet him first and we will wait at the right side of the floor," Rathod suggested to his team.
They all nodded their heads in understanding. When she felt no one was following her behind, Riya is running all the way from the first floor and her red cotton dupatta is flowing in the air making it's trailing all the things on the first floor.
~Arjun's Room~
Arjun has clad in a white loose cotton shirt with gray color cotton pants and medical bandages on his head, right hand, and his stomach. He is standing on the terrace which is attached to his master bedroom holding the glass railing tightly and gazing at the sky, which is filled with a moon and stars.
Riya stood in front of Arjun's room, breathing heavily, because of her running. She pushed the wooden door slightly to see him after one week. She started to roam her eyes around the room to catch a glimpse of him, but she couldn't spot him making her worry until she spots him at the terrace showing his back to her. Without any second thoughts or fear of his rejection, she ran towards him and she back hugged him softly without hurting his wounds.
Arjun is so deep in thought that he couldn't recognize the footsteps or the sound of the opening door until he felt the soft body crashed on his back. He doesn't need to turn his head or to see the face of the person who hugged him tightly at the back. He can recognize her softness of the body and her feminine scent which made him breathless countless times.
"Riya" Arjun whispered under his breath like a prayer without turning his head.
Riya can feel the hoarseness of the voice and she is pleasantly surprised the way Arjun identified her without seeing her. She is shedding tears on his back without any control over it wetting his cotton shirt completely at the back. Arjun sighed in pain, feeling her whimper. She is making him weak and he certainly can't afford that at least not now, when he was attacked by his enemy Sikander who is behind him along with his closed one's life.
Arjun takes hold of her left hand, which is resting on his heart firmly and he pulled her softly in front of him to look her. Now Riya is looking at Arjun with glistening eyes, making him close his eyes tightly. He has to calm his racing heart, which is going marathon being so close to her petite frame and top of that she is looking ethereal in red cotton Salwar with braided hair, so ordinary for others but for him, she is looking alluring.
"I was scared to lose you, I was dying 1000 times looking you in pain at the hospital bed. Please don't do that next time! " She pleaded him while sobbing.
"We are cops! Everything is part and parcel of our job nature and You don't need to worry about me. I'm perfectly fine!" Arjun tried to explain to her.
"I didn't know that and all, All I want is your safety and I know only one thing is I'm scared of losing you!" Riya confessed truly about her feelings.
"Stay away from me, Riya! , I'm not worthy of your tears and I cannot give you happiness except pain and trauma," Arjun said painfully after shutting his heart which is crying inside.
"Don't... Don't say that, you never know, how much you are worth in my life!" Riya replied breathlessly thinking about his place in her life.
"I'm married already, Riya!" He played the last trump card to stop her before she breaks the steel wall around his heart completely and making it crumble down at her feet defeating.
"You were married " Riya screamed angrily looking at his futile attempt to make her stay away from him against his heart.
"You have to STAY AWAY from me in order to live in this world, I don't have the good fortune to have all the people I craved to have beside me always!" Arjun exclaimed in distress to make her understand the seriousness of the problem. She looked at his brown eyes with clouded eyes and she nodded her head like no not accepting his justifications.
"The way you are making me feel is like drowning myself in the loneliness where I'm surrounded by zillion people. It's like freezing myself in your coldness and at the same time burning myself in your hatreds. You are giving me pain, and at the same time, I'm expecting you to be my medicine. You're my safe home at the same time, I'm being homeless, Arjun" Riya whispered against his face.
She paused a few mins to read his face, but as usual, his mysterious brown eyes are not giving away his true feelings.
"Ask me anything in this world just name it, but don't ask me to stay away from you, Arjun," Riya whispered under her breath looking straight at her favorite deep brown eyes of his.
Those eyes always manage to suck her breath away whenever it met with her deep black eyes. Arjun runs his hands through his hair to reduce the pain looking at the crying yet adamant figure who wants to claim him solely.
Riya stood on her toes to match his height, she fisted the cotton fabric of his shirt tightly so that she can't fall without balance. She started to showering tiny kisses on his handsome manly face much to Arjun's surprise.
Arjun badly wants to place his hands on her tiny waist to hold her tightly to prevent her from not fall backwards while reaching his tall figure but refrained from doing so. He wants to give this moment to the passion and the desire he felt for this woman. Arjun wants to hold her tightly at the same time wants to push her for claiming his heart without his knowledge. He is afraid of rejecting her that too when she is an invulnerable state.
"I'm afraid I can't give you that", she placed a small kiss on his right cheek, "I'm afraid it will break me in pieces, If I will leave you", saying this she kissed his left cheek. "I'm afraid I will be alone in this world without you", she planted a feather kiss on his right side jaw.
A chill runs through both of their bodies and the proximity is burning the last bit of sanity they are holding to reach each other unguarded.
"I hate myself for feeling this way for you, I hate myself for pushing you to the edges", whispering these lines, she kissed his left side jaw."
"I'm ashamed myself for begging you like this," she breathed in the manly scent of the woods and sands while placing a kiss on his right eye.
Arjun has no answer to her questions except repeating his broken recording of ordering her to stay away from him.
"Why did you come to life? When you are my off-limit and why did you ask me to go away from you? , Your denial mode is making me come closure to you the way I never wanted anyone in my life!"Voicing out her desire for this man openly, and she kissed his left eye.
Arjun is so engrossed in her and her kisses that, he forgets to reply to Riya's questions just stood clenching his hand, both sides to control the sane mind which is blocked due to Riya's kisses.
"You are the first man, I desired all my life and I'm damn sure you will be the last man on the earth I have set my eyes on," Riya mumbled in a breathless tone.
She looked at him intently for secs to read his denial mode for touching him intimately, but he stood tall mirroring her emotions that encouraging her to do all the things she never had guts to do with him.
"If staying away from me makes you happy, I will try that!" murmuring this line against his face, she kissed his forehead tightly.
Arjun took a sharp intake of breath to control the last strings of his self-control and held her waist tightly to show the effect of her innocence kisses when she is falling behind. She doesn't realize that her innocent kisses are unleashing his inner longings.
"But I didn't know how far I can control myself! , and yeah, if my hell of control break loses, get ready to face the force of emotions I will shower upon you, Arjun," Riya said confidently that she cannot stay away from him if she does so he has to face the wrath of it.
Arjun opens his mouth to speak, but Riya closes Arjun's mouth with her soft palm and nodded her head.
"I will let you go, but you are ready to face my untamed emotions and desires, Arjun" Saying this she kissed her own hand which is covering Arjun's mouth.
Arjun badly wants that she kissed his lips instead of kissing her own hand. The air is thick with the emotions which are flowing in the room, and it's making both of them breathless. The way her soft lips evoked his inner desires and he even feels ashamed of admitting to himself.
The feeling and desire he feels for this woman are raw and untamable. He feels these feelings are so different from what he felt for Roshini.
It's just one loose thread that is stopping him from kissing her ravishingly, if not she would be in his arms servicing for his desires and passions.
"Riya" Arjun whispered under her soft palm which is covering his manly lips.
She removed her hand, which is covering his mouth when She felt his lip movements of her hand. Riya joined her forehead to Arjun's forehead when she felt his heated gaze which is making her tremble in his arms without any control, so she closed his desired filed brown eyes with her palm for a few mins to calm her erratic heartbeats of them.
A peaceful silence prevailed in the terrace and moon and stars are glimpsing two souls who are striving not to lose their sanity at the open domain.
When Riya felt her breathing came to slightly normal, she removed her palms from Arjun's eyes. But still, she joined her forehead with Arjun softly, not hurting his injury in any way.
"I will let you go away from me, Arjun" Riya confessed on his face and breathing in his aura.
Arjun hasn't surprised at the way her tongue rolled out his name like a devotion making his heart swell with happiness unknowingly. He looked at her intently looking at the determination in her deep black eyes, making him fear the outcome of her actions.
"I knew you would come around or I will make sure you come around me. And I'm letting you go away because your happiness matters to me more than anything in the world and it will be my top priority always in my existence " Riya whispered at his face looking him lovingly before leaving him alone as the way he wanted always.
The ladders she is claiming towards him hazardous, so he has to stay away from her if she needs to be alive on this earth.
"No, please, Riya. I'm afraid that I would never call you back or never reciprocates your emotions as the way you crave from me" Arjun admitted his inner fears and he feels the mask behind the angry man to make her stay away from him is fading in her love without his intuition.
"Then ready to face my untamed emotions, Arjun!" Riya replied to him and she kissed his forehead once again to show her love for him without uttering words.
Riya pushed him softly and left the place when she felt she can't control her desires for this anymore and she certainly doesn't want to do that when he is denial more and this time she is waiting for him to take the first step. She would have felt heart's content if he hugged her back or kissed back her, but all he did was holding her waist tightly when he felt she is falling down backwards making her sigh in pain.
Arjun looks at her retreating figure with glistening eyes. He doesn't know what he did to get her unconditional love from Riya. Though she is not using words to confess her love, yet again, she is proving her love in actions. He is surprised for the depth of the love she has on him. Along with Riya, and her love for him making his knees go weak and he is afraid of losing her to his demons.
"I'm sorry Riya, I didn't know whether to accept you or to deny you. Why are you making me stand at the crossroads? It was me who is melting in your love, Please hate me! I don't deserve this much affection from the pure soul. I'm afraid of making you dwell in pain. Forgive me!" Arjun whispered under his breath confessing his insecurities which is stopping him to accept her.
"Ahhh" Arjun pulled his own hair in pain.
He didn't realize that a single tear is rolled down on his left eye watching at the door where she left him.
