So while not justice, war made sure one bad apple didn't get to rule over entire land.

Considering that all the sons of Kauravas had died and Lakshman didn't have any children, I think even if Duryodhan had won the battle, Parikshit was his only option as heir, no one else from Kuruvansh was actually left

And after Karna's Digvijay as it is nearly the whole country was ruled by Dury n Dhritrashtra, so 3 more years wouldn't have changed much

No, I was saying the empire ceased to exist in 3 years. The Pandavas reunited the empire, then split it into multiple pieces.

Did Yudhishtir ever do anything himself? 🙄

Yes he gambled himself on his own

Hmm Shakuni could have been killed

I wonder what excuse did Karna give to Duryodhan after having fled this camp leaving Duryodhan to die

He must have given some huge explainations that Duryodhan still kept him in his inner circle

I mean the same would have happened with Dury the king as well

And Parikshit would have anyway succeeded him unless he decided to marry a younger girl and get a child to her by Niyog

Why would you say that? Suyodhana could still reproduce. And there is nothing to suggest he would've split up the empire.

Forget Karna even Duryodhan's death has been glamouised to the core. Yes he gave a good fight to Bheem but that was because they got into one to one mace fight, he had actually fled the battlefield for the day since he couldn't sustain the injury in regular duels

They all died the death which Kshatriyas aim for and that too at the later fifties.

To be honest I don't consider that to be a punishment for their crimes but at least something is better than nothing

Same, I don't consider this as justice for her

She lost her sons, her brothers and her father

Yeah, The Gambler among men, Wielder of the dice, that Emperor certainly achieved a great feat by losing his empire in a second.

Duryodhana was on hook of Karna

The only thing to say is that he was not so powerful, especially not without Karna.

The vassal states would have slowly started fighting for autonomy and going by the brilliant track record of our friend, they would have been successful.

Suyodhan had only two kids and was over 50, considering his wives were around the same age as him, they definitely wouldn't be able to reproduce. If he would have married after the war and got a kid by Niyog through his new wife then thats a different case

Anyhow I don't consider the progeny of Pandavas any better. Just to punish one Naga, Janamejay committed a genocide, I don't think Duryodhan's progeny would have done anything worse

That war definitely didn't establish Dharma over Adharma

Had I been there in place of Duryodhan's advisors I would have asked Duryodhan to return Indraprasth to Pandavas and immidiately challenge Yudhishtir for the third game of dice🤣

No on a serious note, irrespective of whether or Dury Karna were into non platonic relationship, that was way too big a betrayal to your Overlord (forget just a friend), it would actually be considered a crime. I could have understood had Duryodhan not punished Karna considering their past relationship, but still keeping him in his innermost circle (of which even Ashwathama wasn't a part of although he always remained loyal) seems stupidity of the highest orfer

I think he was angry at Karna and therefore to win back his trust, Karna decided to go for Digvijay under Hastinapur flag

Can I please please join in the discussion

I am a big fan of Krishna and Draupadi

I feel their bond is amazing

More than her husbands, she was close to Krishna, I feel that fact is really great. I love the star plus MB has also showed this bond. More than moments with her husbands, she has shared many of her greatest moments with Krishna. That is why this higher form of friendship is more important than any other relationships like marriage.

They are like soul mates. I dont see any romantic angle in them, i feel their bond is much much more than that, and much more deeper.

I wish I could read stories/Fan Fictions, just about them.

More than Guru and Disciple bond, I see a close friendship between them. They are equals in everyway. Gods born as humans.
