Part 6
It was evening ishita was waiting eagerly for Raman as her Amma had already asked about him many times because she was bit suspicious about ishita's job . Ishita too was not able to convince her as she was afraid that amma will catch her lie . It was about seven pm when Raman showed up . The moment ishita saw him ,she ran to him and said " Thanks god Mr bhalla ,aap aa gaye . "
Raman saw her and asked " arey ishita you are still here , why didn't you go home till now ."
I- how can I go home when amma is continuously asking about you . Savere se pata nahi kitni baar aapke baare mein pooch chuki hai .
R- why ?
I- she don't believe me ,I mean she is very much unsure that anyone will give somuch money to a stranger.she is right though , but she just got bypass surgery so I can't tell her truth .
R- I understand your point and you please stop worrying main chal raha hoon na .
I- ok .
Soon they reached to Amma's cabin, ishita entered the cabin and saw Amma was laying in the bed . Ishita called her ,amma opened her eyes . Ishita went near her mother and introduced Raman to her Amma " amma ,this is Mr Bhalla my boss , you wanted to meet him na ."
Amma greeted Raman while he gave the bouquet which he had brought with him to amma and asked " How are feeling now ."
Amma- main theek hoon . Thankyou somuch for helping ishu .
R- no need to thank me ,I just helped her because I felt that she is genuine.Moreover I m giving her job on basis of her ability and the money I uad given her is actually loan which she will be repaying me in instalments.
Amma- thats nice but is it necessary to go out from city ,I mean only we two are there, agar mujhe kuch ho jaayega to main last time apni beti se mil bhi nahi paaungi .
R- please don't tell that,kuch nahi hoga aapka . Actually the problem is I don't have any vacancy in Delhi for her but had a lots of vacant spaces outside Delhi so thought to send her there. I will appoint a full time care taker and nurse to take care of you aur main bhi milne aata rahoonga aapse milne ,you people can talk over phone and also can face time .
Amma nodded listening to him while he said " I hope you are satisfied now ."
Amma shook her head in affirmation while Raman continued " and its not for always , its only for gew days ,after the completion of contract you people can live together like earlier ."
Amma- kaisa contract..
Ishita panicked listening about contract whike Raman said " its company contract for a fix period of time for employees, after that they can get transfer anywhere they want ."
Amma - ohh .
R- to main chaloon ,its nice meeting you ma'am ,wish you speedy recovery .
Amma - so nice of you to visit me .
R- Good day ma'am .
Saying so Raman went out while ishita followed him . Raman looked at her and spoke " that was easy ."
I- I was telling same thing but she wanted to meet you .
R- chalo its done .
I- thankyou somuch .
R- its all right .
Saying so he walked to leave then turned back and asked " by the way ,when are you going back to home ."
I- will meet amma then go .
R- I m waiting for you , come soon .
He ordered her and walked away from there before she could eat anything ,ishita made a face and spoke " bossy much, huh .wait there ,I m not hurrying ".
Saying so she went inside, talked to amma, bid good night and left . She saw he was waiting in the car frowning , the moment she entered he asked" what took you so long "
I- was just saying good night to amma and instructing Nurses to look after her . Waise if you were getting late you could have gone.
R- I wouldn't had offered you a lift ,if I had to go .
Ishita looked at him and asked meekly " aap sabke saath aise hi khadoos rahte hain ya maine aapka kuch bighada hai ( you are this rude to everyone or I had done something wrong with you ).
Raman didn't answered her question and started driving .After sometimes they reached her house, both bid adieu to eachother and went to there ways .
Days started passing ,now Amma was ok and had been discharged . The nurse snd caretaker has already arrived and started their duties ,everything was going good . But by each passing day ishita was getting stressed ,though she had not accepted this pregnancy thing happily but she is bounded in a contract.Twenty five days has already passed and she has not yet shown any symptoms of pregnancy. Ishita was worried about the repayment of the money if she didn't get pregnant. It was late night and she was still not sleeping as she was feeling too stressed thinking about her situation, finally when felt helpless she prayed to murugan to help her and slept .
Next morning when ishita woke and climed down the bed ,she felt giddy ,she sat again on bed for sometimes then went to washroom to complete her morning chores . There also she felt everything is spinning, she any how completed her morning routine and came out of the bathroom . She then sat on the bed and recalled about her monthy cycle and found that she has missed her periods this month ,she got bit happy and started getting ready . After having her breakfast she called a cab and went to hospital . She met Dr Natasha and told sbout her condition, she did ishita's test and broke the news that she is indeed pregnant. Ishita got relieved thinking that now she don't have to think about the repayment of his money .
Finally after getting home ishita called Raman to inform him . Raman was in a meeting when his phone rang ,he looked at his phone and saw it was from ishita . He excused himself from everyone saying its important and went to other room to pick the call and said "hello ishita".
I- good afternoon Mr bhalla .
R- good afternoon .bolo .
I- actually wanted to inform you that ,I went to Dr Natasha and got the tests done .
R- really when the test result is coming .
I- actually it has come and it says that the process was successful.
Raman took a minute to register her words and asked " the process was successful that means you are now pregnant with my baby ."
I- yeah .
R(happily)- you could have said me directly that you are pregnant why are you saying this in such twisted members.
I- umm its just I m not comfortable in saying that , you know if anyone hears it ,I will feel awkward.
R- ohh ok ,let it be . Where are you now .
I- I m in my home .
R- be ready in evening ,I will come to meet you ,then we will visit the doctor and if everything will be ok ,you get your luggage pack we will be leaving for ooty this weekend .
I- ok . But I think there is no need to go to doctor ,Dr Natasha already checked me ,she told everything is fine .
R- ok then I will talk to her and will come to meet you in evening .
I- (blushing )- ok .
R- chalo bye ,I m in a meeting .
I- bye .
Saying so he hung the call while ishita touched her tummy and said " so baby ,are you ready to meet your papa . You know your papa is very handsome and rich ,I m happy that you will get a lovely life ."
