I think i got my first phone during 11th std, second hand, because someone in my family was buying a new phone, only allowed to use for sometime at home🤣 but then i was never that fond of mobiles at that time, couldn't care less if i had it or not

But these days kids seem to be really pampered but I guess it really depends on parents. Some get whatever the kids demand and some don't.

If its needed for communication purpose then get the god damn key pad phone

Parents should understand if they given to their each and every demand it will lead them to be very dependent

I remember I had to so much household work and chores and then only my dad gave me his old phone which he didnt need after getting a new phone

I used to use it only when I would outside

Ghar me to I couldnt even look at it

I dont have Iphone because even though its a good phone it doesnt please me

I do think it depends upon parents a lot because kids cannot differentiate at such a young age what is right for them. They should kind of draw a line which demands to give in and which not.
