We luved our co-ed king george English medium school from kindergarten to 10 th . During rainy season we used to do P T class in basement .... my fav period used to be PT n we had beautiful soft mud playground.

N our canteen served most delicious food esp batata wada n also yummy thali

During a few years of my career I used to be stationed in Pune for 15 days in a month and I used to stay bang next to Vaishali in the gully. There was a nice homely lodge called Gaurish (don't know if it still exists). My day started with breakfast at Vaishali. Loved their Uppama.

Yes I was in Ashlane till 4th and then from 5th onwards it was Pintovila.... Then it got renamed to Modern English School....

@dhanu - if you were a dadar resident then in 11th 12th you may have joined Aggarwal classes at Dadar TT for sureshot 95% in 12th for medical & engineering aspirants ?

Vaishali is much hyped. It is just a slightly above average udipi restaurant you find in Thane/ Mulund or any other place in Mumbai but we don't go ga-ga over it. Like i discovered something called mastani being famous in Pune and it turned out to be nothing different than various flavours of Milk-shake with ice-cream. It has not even 1/10th of taste compared to mamledar's missal in thane. But punekars hype everything madly.
