Zaira wasim calls Locust attact result of sin

For quite some time parts of Africa, Iran, India and Pakistan are facing locusts which are attacking especially dry land crops.

India, Pakistan and Iran are planning to team up to tackle locust attact.

Although scientists have come up with different reasons and solutions, it seems superstar😃 zaira had a different explanation.

On Tuesday, she tweeted a quote from the Quran, that has led to tremendous backlash from netizens. "So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood: Signs openly self explained: but they were steeped in arrogance- a people given to sin,” Wasim wrote quoting the Quran.

At a time when poor farmers are going through tough crisis, such statements seem insensitive.
