Part 22

M. Baitho yaha…..

She makes him sit on the bed….takes out the medicine fromthe first aid kit and starts cleaning the wound with anticeptic liquid….just bythe touch of it he moans in pain….seeing tha minni softens her way of cleaningby bowing air on his wound……slowly she cleans the wound and applies the ointmentand puts a plaster on it…..ater that she gives him some water first he refusesbut later has some on minni’s insistence…..

M. Tum baitho mein kuch khane ke liye lati hun….

Minni was going to get him food but was stopped by hishold…..minni turns back to see him…..she saw there were fresh tears in his eyes….

M. Neil please don’t do this to your self…tumne subah sekuch nahi khaya hai…please let me get something for you…

N. Please don’t go…

Mini couldn’t protest anything further after seeing him pleading…shegave in…

N. kahin mat jao….bas mere paas raho yaha…..

M. Mein yahin hun neil…kahin nahi jaungi….

Both of them were sitting in a pin drop silence…staringeach other……..finally neil broke the silence…

N. don’t I deserve a simple life….?

M. Simple life Neil…! Does that really exists….?

N. Nahi hai kya….

M. Life is always complicated …its just we make it lookbetter by our take on it…..

N. But meine to life ko humesha simple dekhna chaha isiliyeisha ke saath utna bitter past hone ke bawajood I never stopped hoping forbetter time…..but ab lagta hai ki life is all about reality check….u were right….whenthe reality hits u…u are scattered into pieces…

M. No no no Neil….dont go to the same zone…jaha se mujhebahar leke aaye tum….

N. I was wrong minni….dekha nahi kya hua mere saath….

M. Tumhare saath kuch bura nahi hua hai…agar aaj sach saamnenahi aata to bura hota bohut bura….

N. tum bas muhe console karne ke liye keh rahi ho….

M. No….its true….u know what babes ko bhi aisa hi laga thajab papa ji e affair ke baare pata chala….ki why….tab maine use bola tha kiacha hua saamne aa gaya nahi aur kitne din jhoot me jete hum…..sach ko acceptkarna acha hai than jhoot ko jeena….i know u are upset now but u will be happynow…without any guilt….itne din tumhe yeh hi guilt than a ki u r not a goodfather….but tumhe yeh guilt nahi uthana padega…..stop blaming ur self….tumgalat nahi ho….

N. But I cant forget all this minni….un dono ne mera trusthar baar thoda hai…..

M.. they don’t deserve your trust and not even tears….unparapne ansoo kyun kharch kar rahe ho….

Mini held his hand…..

M. Listen to me carefully …is sabme tumahr koi galati nahihai….so tumhe guilty feel karne ki zaroorat nahi hai….dot let your hopes dieneil oberoi…..tumhe to aur successful ban nah ai…world’s best khadoos chef…..

Finally Neil had smile amidst the tears…..

N. Khadoos chef..?

M. of course….khadoos akdu chef mera…now I want him back ok….pleasedon’t be sulky now….

N. Tumhara….

M. aur nahi to kya….Mera chef Neil oberoi….

Saying that she wiped his tears ad cupped his face….

M. tumne hi mujhe phir se hope karnna sikhaya hai neil…..howcan u leave hope that too for that crapsters….please let it go….life itni bhi burinahi hai….agar kuch bura karti hai to acha bhi hota hai……

Neil held her hands and nodded yes to her…slowly heslided her hand to his lips and kissed her hands contently….

N. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum aisi baatein bhi karti ho minimadam…..

M. tumhe bohut kuch nahi pata hai chef….meri babes ko samjhasamjha ke na mein pravachan dene me best ho gayi hun….haye haye mer kismet…pehlebabes ko samjhana padta tha ab tumhe….kya karu mei…..

Neil could only smile at her antics….but he really felt relieved after this….slowly minni made him sleep but when minni was about to go she was again stopped by him so she also sat there and dozed off…..
