Raman was busy in his work when someone knocked the door.

Raman-come in.

Ishita walked inside slowly and stood infront of him folding her hands into each other.raman waited for someone to say anything but when she didn't said he finally raised his eyes and saw ishita standing there.

Raman-ishita tum,what happened,why u r standing like this??

Ishita-can u give me half an hour leave??

Raman-lunch break hai,half an hour ka hi hai.

Ishita-actually I want an hour leave.

Raman-anything serious??

Ishita-nahi , actually I have to pick my daughter from school.maine inform toh kiya tha,but address nahi tha.so I have to go and pick her,and also have to update this address,so that they can drop her here from tomorrow.toh kal se time nahi lagega,but today,please let me go.she was saying while he was just looking at her.

Ishita saw him all silent and asked-kya hua, permission nahi denge??

Raman-nahi.

Ishita-nahi,she asked with a disappointed face.

Raman-nahi,I mean yes,I mean permission toh main tumhe de dunga,but I am thinking why u r explaining so much to me.bas pick up karne jaana hai,yeh bhi bol deti toh chalta.i would have permitted u.

Ishita-sorry,I wasted ur time naa.really sorry,she said looking down.

Raman got up and walked to her slowly while she was looking down.

Raman-tum itni formal kyun ho rahi ho mujhse??he asked and tears started falling off her eyes.

He make her look at him and said-ishita,why u r so uncomfortable.am I making u uncomfortable??

Ishita nodded in no, looking down while tears were flowing freely from her eyes.he made her look at him and wiped her tears with his thumb signalling her not to cry.

She look at him and next moment she burst into tears.he tried to stop her when she hugged him tight sobbing .

Raman got shocked seeing her condition and start thinking the reason of it.

Raman-why she is crying,is she not happy in her life.does her huband torture her,does she is unhappy in her life,kahin woh Ishita ko maarta toh nahi,he was thinking when he realised she is crying since long.

He stopped his thought process and start consoling her.

Raman-kya hua ishita,kya hua .why u r crying ,tumhe koi problem hai kya,kisi tareeke ki.tumhara husband tumhare saath achcha behave nahi karta kya,does he tortures u.koi financial problem hai,jiski wajah se tumne yeh job join kiya,tell me naa.kya problem hai,I promise I will try my hard to solve it.he was saying caressing her hair to the length while she was just lost in his soft touches.

Both were lost in each other when they heard,adi crying from the room next to his cabin.they broke the hug and went to check him.

Adi was wide awake and looking around ,finding noone he was crying.raman went to him and picked him in his arms.

Raman-kya hua bachcha,mera adi beta kyun ro raha hai.see papa is here only,papa is here bachcha .he start caressing his back consoling him,while ishita's eyes were on Raman and adi only.

Ishita-meri ruhi bhi aapka yeh pyaar deserve karti hai,raman.usse bhi apne papa ka pyaar milna chahiye,aapka pyaar milna chahiye,raman.she said while her eyes got teary thinking her daughter will never get her father's love.

Raman made adi sleep comfortably and pecked his temple.he was smiling when his eyes went to ishita.

He walked to her and said-tum thik ho??

Ishita-haan,yeh kamra??

Raman-i made it, specially for adi.so that he can be with me always .

Ishita-ohh,u love him very much naa??

Raman-bahut ,meri jaan hai woh??

Ishita-aur iski mumma,unhe yaad nahi aati adi ki,jab woh aapke saath hota hai??she asked hesitantly.

Raman was about to say something but then thought otherwise and said-nahi,I love him more,so she adjust.he said to which ishita just faked a smile and said-main jaaun??

Raman-yes,but come before 3,I have a meeting.and u need to be there.

Ishita-yes sure,thanks for this help.she said and went out in a jiffy couldn't able to hold her tears anymore .

Raman saw her going and said-i can't tell u,where his mother is,aur kyun usse adi ka mere saath rehna bura nahi lagta .he said and went back to complete his work while ishita was in auto going to ruhi's school.

She was trying hard to control her tears but they were being adamant,coming again and again.at last she hide her face in her palm and said tiredly-stop,I can't cry.main ro nahi sakti .yeh situation maine khud chunni hai, Raman loved me,but main hi unka saath nahi de paayi .that's why someone else is in his life now,jis jagah mujhe hona chahiye tha,wahan koi aur hai.jahan meri ruhi ko hona chahiye tha,wahan adi hai.mujhe adi se koi shikayat nahi,uski mumma se bhi nahi.takleef hai toh sirf apni ruhi ke liye,woh bhi apne papa ka pyaar deserve karti hai,but woh usse kabhi nahi milega.raman will never love her the way,he loves adi.aur main unhe yeh sach ,kabhi nahi bata sakti,ki ruhi hamari beti hai,meri aur unki beti.yeh kaisi kismat likhi hai aapne meri murugan.kitni bhi koshish kar loon,kuch naa kuch adhura hi reh jaata hai .she said and cried ,when the auto driver said-we reached.

Ishita came out and went inside telling him to wait,as she will be back soon.

She went inside and asked for ruhi.watchman showed her sleeping on the bench.

Ishita's eyes got filled seeing her and said-so gayi??

Watchman-haan didi,bachchi hai.wait karte karte so gayi.

Ishita walked to her and picked her little daughter in her arms while her heart was heavy thinking what life she is giving her,while what life she deserves.

She kissed ruhi's temple and said-sorry bachcha,agar mumma ne thodi si himmat dikhai hoti,toh aaj aap apne papa ke saath hote.i know u will never complain,kyunki aap bahut achchi ho,but mumma is really sorry,bachcha.she said hugging ruhi in her arms .

She took her to the auto and they start going back to her office.ishita was hiding ruhi in her dupatta ,trying to save her from the scorching heat ,while ruhi has turned red due to heat.

Ishita hugged her tight and said-murugan,please meri aisi pariksha mat lo,I left everyone for my baby.mujhe usse har tareeke se khush rakhne do.she prayed and soon she reach her office.

She took ruhi to the creche and make her sleep comfortably on the couch removing her socks and shoes.ruhi slept comfortably feeling cold in the AC room.ishita took her little hands in her hand and said kissing ruhi's palm-mumma loves u ,bachcha .aap sabse keemti ho mere liye.she was caressing ruhi when the clock strike three.she remembered that she has to go to Raman as he has a meeting.she was waiting for ruhi to wake up ,so that she could inform her.but ruhi was sleeping peacefully feeling comfortable.

At last,she told the care taker to keep an eye on ruhi and went to the conference room.

The manager scolded her for being late as she has to arrange all files and documents before the meeting start.

Ishita-meeting kab tak start hogi ??

Manager-it will take ten minutes to start.MD sir will come after an hour,as he is bit busy.till then we will take care of the clients,ok.he said to which ishita nodded.

Soon the clients arrived and the ceo started the meeting while ishita was thinking to go and check on ruhi,but she was stuck in the meeting.

Ishita-raman aayenge,toh unse puch kar chali jaungi,ruhi ko ek baar check karke aa jaungi.the place is new for her.she was thinking standing with the documents to present as and when required.

On other hand,ruhi got up and start looking for ishita or their neighbours,but found herself in a new place.she got scared looking around and went to the lady sitting there.

Ruhi-mumma kahan hai??she asked meekly and she said-mumma toh gayi hai,she will be,she was saying when a baby start crying and she went to attend her,while ruhi stood there trying to understand her words,mumma toh gayi.

Ruhi stood there and start remembering ishita's words-rooh badmaashi karegi toh mumma,ruhi ko kahin chod degi aur dusra babu le aayengi.

Ruhi start crying remembering ishita's words and said-mumma,luhi chol chali gayi.she cried and went out of the room holding her bag without wearing even her shoes.

Raman was coming downstairs talking on phone when he saw her running out of the office premises crying bitterly holding her bag.he tried to ignore her but couldn't seeing the little kid running without wearing any shoes.

Raman-bachchi ka pair jal jayega,itni dhoop hai baahar.how can be someone so careless.He said hanging up the call and ran after her and before she can go out of the building he get a hold on her and said picking her in his arms-pakad liya,kahan bhaag rahi ho??

Ruhi turned to him and he could see her face.her little face has turned pink due to continuous crying and she started hitting him scared of him while he smiled fully seeing the little baby.

Ruhi was hitting him continuously saying-cholo ,luhi ko cholo.luhi ko cholo gande uncle.

Raman was lost in her when she hit him on his face breaking his trance.

Raman-oops jhansi ki raani,aise maarta hai koi??

Ruhi-luhi cholo,mumma paach jaana hai.mumma chol chali gayi.mumma,luhi chol chali gayi.ab luhi ghal kaiche jayegi,choti babu akele leh gayi.she said innocently making Raman's heart melt for the little baby.

Raman wrapped her more into his arms and said-kahan chali gayi ,beta??mumma kahan chali gayi??

Ruhi rested her head on his chest and said-mumma luhi chol chali gayi.luhi bamachi nahi ki,phil bhi chali gayi.ab naya babu layengi,luhi mumma chali gayi.she was saying and sobbing while Raman couldn't hold back and hugged the little soul tight,trying to give her some solace.

He caressed her hair softly and said-aap kahan the??

Ruhi showed him the room and he realised she is his employee's daughter.

Raman-oh,toh aap wahan the.mumma kahi nahi gayi,she must be somewhere,working.yeh aapki mumma ka office hai kya??

Ruhi-nahi pata.mumma luhi chol nahi jaati,aaj chali gayi.

Raman-aur aap kahan jaa rahi thi??

Ruhi-mumma paach.

Raman-chalo ander,aapki mumma ander hi hogi.he said and took ruhi inside the creche.

Everyone got up seeing the MD entering the creche.they all greeted him while he scolded them for letting the kid go inside.

Raman-aise khayal rakhenge bachchon ka,choti bachchi hai.kahin ghum ho jaati,aap jawaab de paati.

Lady-sorry sir.

Raman-call her mother now.

Lady-i don't know kis department ki hai.

Raman-i don't care, announce karao,call her now.what is ur name bachcha??he asked looking at her.

Ruhi-luhi.

Raman-luhi,ok announce the name and call her now.come down and pacify the kid first.she is so scared.and next time,I see or hear any carelessness towards the kids,get into ur head,u all r going to be fired.

Lady apologised again and went to announce.announcement was being done all around the office except the conference hall ,so ishita couldnt know anything about it and was just standing helplessly waiting for raman,so that she can go and check on ruhi.

Lady came and said-sir,noone answered .

Raman-ok,take care of her.yeh baahar nahi jaani chahiye.he said trying to give ruhi to the lady and she started crying bitterly .

Raman-jao bachcha,mumma aa jayengi ,mujhe meeting mein jaana hai.he said while ruhi was crying bitterly holding his shirt tight.

The lady tried to take her forcefully and she started scratching herself in anger.

Lady-aao warna thappad rakh dungi,sir ko jaana hai.she said making Raman angry.

Raman-is this way to talk,woh bachchi hai,dari hui hai.

Lady-but sir,u have to go.

Raman-thats my look out.isse main apne saath le kar jaa raha hoon.when her mother will come to pick her,tell her that she is with me .he said and then asked ruhi-mere saath chalogi??

Ruhi nodded crying .

Raman hold her hand and said-aise scratch nahi karte,babu ko chot lag jayegi naa .chalo hum chalte hai,mumma aa jayegi.he said and start walking taking little ruhi in his arms while she was hiding in him resting her head on his chest.

Raman kissed her temple and said-kitni pyari bachchi hai,mera mann hi nahi kar raha isse chodne.isse chod kar meeting mein kaise jaaun.he was talking to himself when ruhi said-mat jao.

Raman smiled hearing her and said-yes,I can do this.ek meeting nahi attend karunga toh kuch nahi hoga.he thought and called the ceo telling,he won't be attending the meeting.he has to take care of it.

Informing the ceo ,he look at her and said-bhookh lagi hai??

Ruhi nodded in no and then yes.

Raman-let me arrange something for u,he said and hugged her tight while she was also smiling with him,on other hand,Ishita who was waiting for Raman,got disappointed hearing that he won't be attending the meeting.

Ishita-now I can't even go to check on ruhi, murugan please take care of my daughter.this place is new for her.she was praying for ruhi and ruhi was happily smiling in her father's arms while Raman was also feeling too happy having that little baby in his arms.
