Daily serials will make us feel 'normal'. God knows we need to feel normal.

On the other hand, if it doesn't interest us, we now know there are never ending options.

Immediately rise hona it seems mushkil..only mytho shows are getting good amount of TRP.. means people only want to watch mytho show now.. now it will be too much tough job for running shows to attract the audience again in normal shows.. n whatever mytho show would not run forever on TV.. after khatam , what they will air.. n would people watch the repeat show back to back .. so it will be crucial time for channel n producer

Wont go off air but i think they can use this break to do away with the likes of kaushik kuki etc....the extras in this show add no value to it they really need better actors and chars on that front

one thing to correct you, most of Ekta's webseries are not made by her, she just buys them from independent makers and sells them via alt in simpler language. i dont find her own webseries even once a watch all have the SAME OLD CONTENT. I tried with KRTBM, it started good but again same old stuff 🥱 same went with barish 😵 As they all have the same content almost just actors are different 😳 sometimes even dialogues are just the same 🤣 But the fact that she is a very good business woman that is something we should all applaud about.

Moreover, DD shows have been aired so many times on several channels. All episodes are available on YT and in DVDs. Yet the ratings are damn high. Repeat value.

Even other shows could cash upon nostalgia but they hardly get over 0.6 because the repeat value and success range is missing. Even the highly successful Balika Vadhu repeats are getting only 0.4.

But, DD MB on the same channel got 1.0 in its first week of airing despite competition against MB on DD Bharati. Yeah! 🤬 Colors made the show compete against itself. Then 🤬Star Plus jumped in with DD Ramayana on the same slot. 🤪🤬

So, it was Mahabharat vs Mahabharat + Ramayana 🤧😭

Next comes the SPMB. I cannot tell you how much I abhor it but it's getting good numbers. Last week trps are 3.5 due to a high point. Before that it was 2+

Despite making a total mockery of the epic, this show gets the advantage of high level ignorance, freshness and visual appeal. And its Krishna is popular and the music is great. But, the biggest factor here is Mahabharat. It's the second adaptation of the epic after the DD classic. So, even that's a plus point.

Then come Mahadev and RadhaKrishn which fetch 1+

Not bad at all.

Other than these, TMKOC and TKSS fetch 1+

Sony is clever with TKSS. They aired episodes with Irrfan/Rishi, and the Ramayan cast.

BUT...you can't run the DD shows forever. Mahabharat has 94 episodes and Ramayana has even lesser no. of episodes.

So, people will watch the daily shows. Not the old ones as we saw the ratings aren't high. But, they will tune in for the contemporary ones.

Also news channels too are getting higher than usual ratings much higher than election times. Now that doesn't mean because their content is awesome and mindblasting and contemporary drama shows won't run etc... it's only because people have no other option but to watch them 🤣
