Time eternity wonders who is to be blamed for Karn’s situation ?? Was it his father Surya Dev ?? Or his mother Kunti ?? His entire life he suffered the punishment for a crime he never committed . Being labelled SutaPutra because of his adoptive parents.

At Kurukshetra, next day Pandavas army arrives at Battle field n finds the enemy army missing .. the battle field was vacant much to their surprise .Drishtadyumna wonders if Duryodhan had run away.Yudhishthira retorts even though  Duryodhan might have committed several wrongs, he was not a coward to run away from the battle field .

They send their messenger to enemy shivir to get whereabouts of Duryodhan n who was appointed the new Pradhan Senanayak of Kuru Sena. 

At Kuru Sena shivir .. Kripacharya, Ashwatthama n few others wonder where had Duryodhan  disappeared ..Why was a new Pradhan Senanayak not appointed by Duryodhan ?? They wonder how their army could enter battle field without new Pradhan Senanayak , Ashwatthama suggests Guru Kripacharya could declare himself the next PS, but Kripacharya  is disinclined.

A guptachar informs Yudhisthir that before dawn Duryodhan was spotted walking towards the Sarovar.  Krishn warns that Duryodhan knew he was left with very little army , so this could be a hidden war strategy . 

Yudhishthira asks his sarathi to take his chariot towards Sarovar to check on Duryodhan. . Pandavas, UpaPandavas, Drishtadyumna, Krishn reach the Sarovar n find nothing . Yudhishthira feels Pandavas were victorious . 

Ashwatthama, Kripacharya n few other are at the other end of Sarovar ,.they spot the Panadavas at the other bank n wonder if Duryodhan was hiding inside this Sarovar . They ask themselves  if Duryodhan was a coward to hide like this ?? They decide to wait n watch ..they would attack Pandavas n go in aid of their Yuvraj if Duryodhan was attacked . 

Yudhishthira claims Duryodhan was hiding inside the waters by creating a bubble inside the waters, by his Mayavi Shakti he had calmed the waters. Krishn makes fun of wounded , helpless, defeated Duryodhan hiding. Yudhishthira  calls out to Duryodhan n asks him to come out n fight n not hide like a coward .Come n fight or hand over the kingdom to them. 

Duryodhan retorts that he would fight for the sake of war , for not insulting the sacrifice of Dronacharya, Bheeshm, His brothers . He did not yearn for Hastinapur throne any more , What would he do with it now because he was left all alone, his 99 brothers , mama Shakuni, Karn , Dushasan who would have been happy to see his Coronation as King of Hastinapur were no more . He had carried the dead bodies of his 99 brothers, Dronacharya, Mama Shakuni, Friend Karn and was now restlessm to avenge their deaths from Pandavas. 

Arjun challenges Duryodhan to fight them n not hide like coward . He challenges Pandavas n emerges out of water . 
Yudhishthir tells Duryodhan that they knew Duryodhan alone could fight all five Pandavas ,but he asks him to select a weapon n select an opponent . Duryodhan claims none could win against him, Bheem volunteers to fight him.

Duryodhan is standing in the waters of Sarovar,Yudhishthira asks him to put on his Kawach n get his Gadaa. Duryodhan asks Yudhishthira to get him those items from his shivir. 

Yudhishthira asks Sehdev to do the honours for Duryodhan. 

Balram arrives and Duryodhan is very happy to see him ... Pandavas are shocked to see him, Krishn is happy n surprised to see his Dau reach here . Balram informs how Narad informed him about his two best shishya were about to enter a duel n he rushed to witness it . Both Bheem n Duryodhan seek his blessings n begin Gadaa yudh.

Ashwatthama, Kripacharya watch secretly from afar . 
As The fight goes on n on n on Yudhishthira gets worried about the outcome. Krishn advises Yudhishthira to remind Bheem of his promise of shattering Duryodhan’s thigh ... for insulting Draupadi. 
Krishn knew Duryodhan was indestructible above waist because of Gandhari’s blessings . He could be injured only below waist . 

Bheem hits Duryodhan on the thigh n grievously injures him. Balram gets furious with Bheem for breaking the rules of Gadaa yudh....hitting below waist n declares he was ashamed to call Bheem his shishya.  Krishn then enumerates to Balram all the times Duryodhan did Maryada ka ullanghan. Bheem is deemed victorious , Pandavas, Drishtadyumna, Krishn leave Duryodhan to suffer the effects of his sins alone . They are reminded of their victory n decide to return to their shivir .

Pandavas have emerged victorious in Kurukshetra battle as all 100 Kauravas are killed. Karn, Dronacharya, Shakuni , Madra Naresh, Are killed too .

Draupadi comes to Kuru Sena shivir n feels strange on being addressed the Maharani of Hastinapur .

Gandhari comes to meet her n pays respects to Maharani of Hastinapur . She then asks Draupadi to go back to her own shivir as this was the shivir of the losers .

Draupadi says she was at her sasuraal. Gandhari then weeps for Bheeshm who was still waiting for his death. Kunti has gone back to Hastinapur after Karn Vadh. Gandhari gets emotional weeping for her sons .Draupadi consoles and supports her.

Near the Sarovar Duryodhan is lying on the ground with his broken hip n thigh. He laments n complains n accuses Pandavas.

Ashwatthama n Kripacharya come to meet him, . He declares as long as he was alive this war could not end . He  appoints Ashwatthama as the Pradhan Senanayak . He demands Pandavas’ heads . Ashwatthama declares he will behead them at night , Kripacharya reminds attacking at night is against the rules. Ashwatthama retorts all rules were broken in this battle , so no need to follow any rules any more . After they leave Duryodhan breathes his last .
At Hastinapur Dhritarashtra weeps with Sanjay .. he feels lonely ... he laments how he failed to stop this war because of Putra Moh. He misses Duryodhan n feels guilty for using him for fulfilling his own ambitions.

At Kurukshetra, in the wee hrs of the night, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya sneak into the Pandavas shivir , Ashwatthama kills the Maharathi who had killed Dronacharya. 

They sneak into the shivir they think belonged to Pandavas , he shoots at all 5 in their sleep n kills them . He then sets fire to Pandavas shivir. He returns to Duryodhan n finds him dead. He laments to Duryodhan that he should have waited to hear the good news of killing the killer of Dronacharya n Pandavas . Ashwatthama weeps over Duryodhan’s body. He cremates Duryodhan all alone . 
At Pandavas shivir , Draupadi n Pandavas n Krishn Mourn the death of their sons silently . 
draupadi looks at the arrows that were pulled out of her son’s bodies, she asks Pandavas to identify  these arrows n determine from whose bow they were shot . She demands the dead body of that person. Yudhishthira identifies as Ashwatthama’s arrows . She asks Yudhisthir for Ashwatthama’s dead body. Krishn tries to calm Krishnaa saying yudh Viraam Ghoshna was done n war was over. Duryodhan assures he will get what Kalyani wanted n rushes off.

After Cremation of Duryodhan Ashwatthama decides to repent for his sins he committed by killing Pandavas In their sleep was a crime  . He goes to Brahm Rishi . But the Brahm Rishi tells him that What he was claiming was wrong as Pandavas were alive. Soon Pandavas arrive and are seen fuming with fury . Ashwatthama also fumes with fury n calls for his Brahmastra N fires it at Pandavas . Seeing that Arjun also seeks his Brahmastra, n he fires it at Ashwatthama. Brahm rishi stops both Brahmastra from destroying the earth n asks them to recall their Astra, because Brahmastra could be used only for Lok Kalyan . Arjun seeks forgiveness n recalls his Brahmastra. Ashwatthama states he did not know how to recall his Brahmastra. So he directs the Brahmastra to a destination that will finish the Pandavas lineage . He fires it at Uttara’s womb .

Everyone is shocked . Krishn accuses Ashwatthama of cowardice . Of firing a Brahmastra at innocent defenceless unborn baby . He curses Ashwatthama of a prolonged live full of miseries n old age n no one to support him . He also seeks Ashwatthama’s Mani that was planted in his forehead.

In Pandavas shivir Uttara feels sudden pain in her womb, the Vaidh is summoned n he declares the child was wounded n would not survive . Soon Uttara delivers a still born . Krishn places that Mani on the child n offers him protection n gives him a new life . All Pandavas and all the ladies are very happy to see Uttara’s new born healthy n kicking .
