Parineeti was good initially.. but dont know what happened to her..her performances is the last few outings were thoroughly criticised..Just like how we say some of the actors/actresses were good looking initially but lost their looks over the years, the same happened with parineeti, not in terms of looks(she was never a looker to begin with) but acting chops..Loosing looks we can understand its either age taking a toll or the failed PS scenarios or extreme weightloss/gain etc..but whats the explanation for loosing acting chops🙄

Xactly...the same examples are given for her every time.Ladies vs Ricky Behl,Ishaqzade n HTP.People don’t realise she was given chances n she failed miserably in movies like Namaste England Jabriyal Jodi even in Meri Pyari Bindu she was pretty average.One may say those movies itself were bad bt as they say a good actor shines even in bad movies so yes she was very good when she started off but not anymore.Her acting chops have now gone terribly bad off late.

it might have been not getting good enough movies to showcase her acting talent . Jhanvi waa terrible in her debut still is getting acting oriented movies like gunjan saxena and that horror film

Why do we have to always compare with extremely privileged people only...there are many actors who are like parineeti or even less previlaged than her..why not make a comparison with them as well...If a Tapsi n Ayushman(surely less previlaged than her) can manage to get good script why cant parineeti..she had enough chances its just that her script sense sucks along with her attitude(weightloss fiasco).. who in the right mind would reject a movie like Peeku.

I think she was pretty fabulous in that sandeep aur pinky faraar trailer. And no you dont necessarily shine in bad films. Alia was terrible in Shaandaar or whatever and even more horrible in kalank.

Although I for sure dont defend her choosing crap like that namaste england movie. Rejecting piku was not a good idea. but trying her hand at films that may have worked in the mainstream atmosphere is not surprising especially when BO is such a huge thing now days and not the actual acting. Its also not like she is losing out films by choosing another especially if the film choices are overall not great for her. At the end of the day, you got to work with what you get.
