Yes. Honestly I too feel that he can't make it like JM. It has nothing to do with his caliber but there is only one JM and no can be like him. There is a reason he is the best leader in kpop. But Baek has learned from the best so he is no less. In his own way he amazing and his aura is unquestionable. I have a lot of things to say about JC but if I start typing I'm sure it will be all over the place and will not make any sense. In short of JC was asked to choose between money and love, he's more likely to chose money (power and position I mean) he was so greedy to taste the success. He could have chosen to be more sensible than a heartless leader of Jiang clan. He's worthy of the praises, he built his empire at a very young age, he has lost his parents and had no guide everything is alright but with a heart, all these things would have made sense. His mother was one of the greatest influence and Wuxian has always been the who takes all the blame on himself, so JC eventually made Wuxian bear all the mistakes just like his mother did. Even back then Yanli was there to kick some brains into JC's head when it comes to WX. I can feel it I'm already going all over the places lol lemme stop here.
JC is worth the praise sure but he was not the only one who rebuilt the clan. It was WWX who helped him and WWX being fearsome entity helped JC gain the favors he needed. But then people started getting jealous of the fact that J clan will become invisible because of WWX. They decided to break them apart and JC played right into their hands. It makes him unworthy of being a leader. None of his decisions were made with proper thought. People who always considered WWX arrogant never bothered to see that he was not arrogant and even if he was he had all the rights to be one. He excelled in all the arts(i think 6 arts), he was exceptional swordsman second to only LWJ. In fact even LWJ was not able to defeat him. He lost his golden core, he was beaten and injured, he was left of die in burial mounds. But he emerged out again as the most powerful entity. He was not born extraordinary. He was extraordinary because he has his extraordinary will. JC once told WWX that WWX was suppose to be his 2nd in command but that didn't happen. It clearly showed how he was never able to digest the fact that the person who was suppose to follow him was leading everyone. It was WWX who single-handedly defeated the entire army of wens during sunshot campaign. JC did love WWX as his brother but his selfishness ruined the beautiful relationship they shared. I wish JC could see what LWJ and yanli saw in WWX. Things would have been lot different. The rift between them was so deep that even after all misunderstandings were cleared they were never able to go back to how they were before. That was one of the part which was heartbreaking.
I agree. Yanli and Wuxian are the best sibling pair. I really loved their relationship and this almost made me want to have someone to spoil me like that. Sigh!!! Yanli wanted to take a look at Wuxian's face even at her last breath. Where do I find this kind of love? Fiction is meant to hurt ou feelings I guess 😆 And Wen Ning, he's such a pretty little cinnamon roll. Wuxian needed such people around him. The family he built in burial grounds is like a heaven on earth concept. A small circle, no luxury living, happy family... I really liked that part. Now coming to Lan Wangji *takes a long sigh* wanted to take Wuxian and protect him forever. Cries in Guqin language 😭 😭 Wangji is the best for Wuxian. They understood him. loved him and wanted him to keep smiling. Just send Wuxian, Wangji, Ning and Yuan in a long vacation already
Yes, yanli really surprised me to be honest. I understand her love for WWX but after her husband's death I thought she is going to hate WWX too and when it didn't happen I was so surprised. It was like all that JC lacked she had in abundance. She was so selfless. I can understand how her death broke WWX completely and he lost it for good.
Agree, the people in burial mounds were actually worth calling WWX's family. I was never expecting Wen qing to die either. She was so good. She helped JC too but JC being JC he easily forgot that kindness.
Oh the way LWJ loved WWX. He was devastated after hearing about WWX's death. As book is little different than the series LWJ was not there when WWX was killed (I hope I'm not spoiling much for you)😆
I can feel the pain he must have been. To be not able to protect the one he loved, he did not even get to say goodbye for the last time. Oh there are so many little things LWJ did after WWX's death that gives one more in-depth understanding into LWJ's feelings towards WWX.
