Yep! Sexist in the regressive, preachy way as well as vulgar, objectifying women 🙃🙃.... Don’t forget even Kabir Singh was a Telugu remake!

And even the ones that aren’t openly sexist are so ridiculous honestly... but some of the scenes and songs legit so bad that they’re good 😂

I do think the misogyny, objectification and (in a sexist way only female) colorism is a tad higher in the (Telugu) South industry. But it's not always true. For just one example, look at Arundhati. Not a single Bollywood movie matches it!

True...I’ve noticed as a Telugu person myself that the fantasy/historical movies can be very very good (take Bahubali for example) and weirdly enough you don’t see half the sexism and vulgar stuff seen in modern stories in those!

There are good masala movies then there are bad. If taken , I like most of allu arjun's movie especially race guram and son of sathyamurthy even Mahesh babu's movies are good ( except the recent one ) but it's not the case in Bollywood I rarely like masala movies in it.
