Yeah I tried writing mystery/suspense but idk if I'm satisfied with it lol I think I'm better off writing light-hearted romance.

@Bold Lol noooo tbh I loved DDLJ as a kid but cringed so much when I grew up. Literally all the male characters - Raj, Babuji, Daljeet...are so annoying. I hated that I made Suman cry so much in the chapter and turned her into a bechari abla naari who has to choose between family and love...I think that's why I hated writing this chapter 😆 Jaa Suman Jaa...Jeelay apni zindagi

That movie was so problematic and the fact that it is celebrated as one of the greatest romance in Bollywood is even more problematic. A lot of young girls grow up watching such movies and it really distorts their perception of love and what an "ideal" partner looks like. Tbh my favorite bollywood romantic movie is Pyar To Hona Hi Tha ❤️ I just love Ajay-Kajol's chemistry in the movie...it's so underrated

I'd agree on this any day. It surely is underrated. I have a peculiar fondness for one of its songs

One of my fav rom-coms in Bollywood is Hasee Toh Phasee. Another under rated movie.

Omg our movie taste is very similar 😆 I love that movie too! I think that was Parineeti and Siddharth's best movie. Jab We Met is another favorite of mine. Usually, I don't like Kareena but she was good in that movie and ofc bae Shahid is there ❤️ I also really liked Vivah but I have a hard time watching that movie now because it's so unrealistic and sugary. Haven't watched a good movie in a while. I would also recommend the movie Love Rosie if you like Hollywood Rom-Com. It's on amazon but warning that there are some 18+ scenes/language.

But, OMG YOU'VE SEEN DOTS TOO???? IT'S SO AMAZING! I absolutely am in love with Captain Yoo Shi Jin! I really hope that's how they make Shravan's character in the army also. Like Yoo Shi Jin, our current Shravan is flirty, funny, and cute. I want these characteristics to stay with him in the army. But, he changes by becoming serious in his "work mode". I still want Shravan to be funny and try to use that humor to hide the seriousness of his work like Yoo Shi Jin. But, behind all that humor a lot of pain is hidden. I literally cried in the scene when YSJ broke down crying. YSJ lies about situations so his loved-ones don't worry about him. This something I see Shravan doing also. Shravan already has a tendency to lie but he hides non-trivial matters. In the future, he will lie to protect his loved ones and keep them from worrying about him. I swear, I will be so upset if they turn Army-Shravan into a cold-hearted angry young man. I want him to be the funny yet fearless guy who has intense emotions and dignity. That's kind of how he is in my FF right now too. Sorry for the long reply 😆

I also hope that they show a funny, fearless yet mature Shravan in the army and not follow the angry, emotionally scarred trope! Looking forward to their army days!! Shravan in the wedding chapter totally gave me YSJ feels.

I LOVE YSJ soo much as well - he was hella cute whilst being jealous too (that scene after the boys find out about Min Yoongi and KMY comes to his office to reassure him)!! I absolutely love their relationship dynamic and I can see that developing in this FF as well. Both of them are so dedicated to their work but also to each other. They don't need to explicitly express their care or concerns - they trust each other completely. I love that scene where KMY hugs him and tells YSJ that he can say he's going to the department store when he has a big mission but give her the right to worry about him and wait for him (sooo many feels!).

I actually hadn't started watching DOTS when I was writing the wedding chapter so I guess in my head that's what "ideal Shravan" is and that's why I ended up liking YSJ too. I just finished DOTS yesterday and now I'm considering watching the series all over again 😆 I also watched the first episode of the Innocent Man yesterday. Song Joong-Ki is a medical student in it but it wasn't catching my interest so Idk if I'm going to watch it.

I adored the relationship between YSJ and Dr. Kang. Although, not a huge fan of jealousy but their possessiveness for one another was kinda cute. Although, I felt YSJ was pretending to be jealous because he's pretty confident. A lot of people were complaining that the show should have ended in Urk but tbh I liked their dating phase in Korea after Urk! It was so cute! I hope they also show Suvan in their dating phase in the Army after they resolve their issues.

Nice chapter Alina👍🏼. The fear of losing someone, the sadness, the wait of Suman for Shravan and her love was so well articulated 👏😳but I have to confess I was awaiting for Shravan’s POV. Now am even more eager for your next update.😳 But at least no more cliffhanger. He is safe 🥳. I missed SuVan in this chapter. Pls make them meet soon. ❤️

Thank you! Ahh sorry to disappoint you! I really wanted this part to be told from Suman's POV and lumping it with Ch. 8 would have made it too long so I just split it into two parts. But, the next part will surely be from Shravan's POV. Currently, I'm writing an OS about Suman's realization based on the current track so Ch. 10 might take a while to post.
