Either trolling or poster sincerely believes Panchali as like the Padmavati shown in the movie. By God, I'm tearing my hair out explaining to people Vyasa's Panchali was nothing like what is shown in movies/shows.

I noticed they had changed a lot of things in the knew one but I always thought the original show was true to the book...

But as for the looks department, I agree that Pooja is beautiful but wasn’t Draupadi dusky? Pooja was very very fair haha

Well Star made Krishna and Arjuna quite fair, too. Those 2 were also supposed to be dark. Krishna was supposed to be so dark he was considered blue.

No use writers/directors will continue to present drapaudi as some blood thirsty woman or damsel in distress or mooning lover and people will continue to by that you can shout from roof top that the "ande ka putra " and eveb sutputra comment ( CE does not mentions it ) are latter interpolation but nobodys will believe you because its easier to blame everything on her then "mighty" "noble" heroes of the epic.

In this aspect sp did came closer to potrayind drau ofcourse she does falters towards the end but i liked that star drau was shown to have compassion in her heart which is one the character of real drau .also it was nice to see that drau was shown to be involved in political matters which also was the eoic drau.

Never heard of Pooja or this film. So I doubt it’s anything to emulate 😊 🤣

There was no film. It was however a top-rated show on Star Plus throughout its run. I have issues with Panchali's characterization in it but doubt Deepika can even do a tenth of what Pooja did.
