Hello everyone, 🤗

It is wonderful reading everyone's pov of the early episodes👏. I am so gutted we are only getting edited version which is skipping the casual links so you end up just seeing chunks of the main point.... I laughed to see Abir and Mishti arguing, then suddenly dancing and singing to 'kamariya' knowing there was a lot in the middle....you don't get the fuzzy, heart-pounding knowledge that they are just entering hesitantly into the dance-of-love.🤣

Those missing Atul will be pleased to know he dances in 'Kamariya'.😆

It was nice to see again the initial MIshbir connection through the pain of their past , which gave them then a solid base for friendship and then love.

I also loved seeing (but not shown in the edited version) the contrast of KuKu love story to Misbir's. I guess the writer wanted to show that no two love stories are the same and regardless of how it starts problems do crop up along the way....whether it starts as a crush or soul deep connection....I always found it interesting that the writers based KuKu love story against the theme of the show itself.👍🏼Quite a genuis creativity turn.

Couple of random things running through my mind though...🤣

- Just how many pair of the same earrings does Mishti have? everyone seems to find one! Abir, Meenu, Kuhu (she wears a pair to the holi party at RV) and then Abir finds it again during holika -Meenu throws it in the fire, he catches it!...Lol, that Bigben has been after Misthi from day one and still flopping in her plan it seems.

- Mishti had lovely hair. Dresses. And very natural make up. What happened to it all?!🤣

- Kuhu stopped wearing her ethnic clothes. It gave her a bohemain air...I guess she is now power dressing.🤣

- That desert run by Mishti and Kuhu, all I could think was 'have they already shot the deere deere song or was that next after this scene?'🤣...I read somewhere their trip to Kutch included all the shots there in one go, which makes sense from a fiancial pov. Does anyone know the actual seq of the shots though? such a lovely place...made out of pure salt ??

- What does Ustav mean? I don't read or understand hindi that much so I gotta ask for translation😃.

thankyou for joining the memory lane thread with us🤗 I too was shocked to know that the re-runs on tv are not full-fledged episodes,s but rather just edited version of just mishbir.

I love mishbir, but honestly I really enjoyed the early episodes as a whole - the entire family, kuhu, kunal and every character had such interesting, significant roles to play, that if it it's edited, it loses the charm of story telling🤔🤓

I really like Kuhu n Kunal in the early episodes. They had very interesting character dynamics, both very contrasting yet their chemistry worked. There have been times over the months, that they started to explore their characters in the story, but sadly it all got messed up with extra drama. The writers really missed out, creating unique itv dynamics with kuku relationship in contrast to mishbir's journey.

@Bold: 🤣haha it is funny to watch isn't it. Those jhumkas are seriously special, unique and one of a kind; looks like they have magical powers (not only uniting mishbir), but finding the lost pair by themselves😆

let's try and make a story: The journey of magical lost n found jhumkas 😛

2nd epi- we see Meenu finding Mishti's earring in the green room. It's not shown but it is assumed that she keeps ONE earring.

3rd epi- we see Mishti wearing BOTH earrings at the purane mandhir when she "meets" Abir. She drops ONE when she trips and falls. Abir takes it. So Mishti should only have one of the pair (she looks for it during holi ka dhan).

4th epi- Meenu gets hold of mishti's earring from Abir's room, she tries to burn it in the holi fire, but Abir saves it. Kuhu is seen wearing them (can't remember if she's wearing both or just one that Mishti had). She loses it when the sisters fall meeting Meenu. Before Meenu sees it, Mishti gets her earring back.

5th epi (i think): Mishbir first meet at holi, Abir has one earring and Mishti accidentally throws the other matching earring at Abir at their colour play😆 So the pair of jhumkas finally end in their rightful home in Abir's hands😳😆❤️

p.s My hindi isn't strong either, but I believe utsav means festival or fete. So Kutch utsav is a festival/party that they celebrate.

at holika dahan in RJV meenu gets hold of earrings and kunaltakes it from her to ask abir about

earrings but he says he dont whose it is but kunal says these are earrings of the girl who saved ketu...then abir says samja tera bhabhi ka... when meenu hears this and throws in fire but abir catches it...

kuhu wears only 1 earring during holi party at RJV's and earrings are of mishti's... when kuhu drops her earring mishti will take it and when mishti throws color on abir she throws earring in that color only... so abir has both earrings of mishti from last holi...

yes utsav festival or fest... so its a festival or fest that organises every year and this year in name of burj summer festival i think...

Episode 4 - 21st March 2019

Mishti meets Naman:

The Episode starts with Rajshri waiting for Mishti. Vishwamber says she will come, focus on Kuhu. Naman is at some shop and sees a doll. He calls Rajshri. She gets shocked. Bau ji says Abir will come soon, he will calm his heart by some photography. Meenakshi says sometimes, people who go don’t come back. Bau ji asks her did she think of her sons’ marriage. She says one of them will get married, but other one isn’t ready, Kunal will ask for Abir’s marriage first. Bau ji asks don’t you wish for this. She says why won’t I agree if Abir says yes to any proposal. He says you have resolved an alliance before. Groom’s mum says I forgot my phone. Meenakshi goes. The lady says I know a girl, she is nice, shall I talk to them. Bau ji agrees. Rajshri says I have sent you money like always. Naman demands more money. He says give me money, else I will take my daughter with me. He turns and sees Mishti.

He says look I have come to meet you. Mishti thinks don’t trust him, he doesn’t love me. He asks are you angry on me, I broke your promise, I had no choice, say something, hit me if you are angry, you still miss me, you can never forget me. He hugs her. She cries. He says I also missed you a lot. She asks why did you come back after many years. She says I was afraid that you won’t forgive me, I wanted to meet you. She says its very late, you didn’t come to take me, I fought with everyone, I used to wait for you, you never came. He says I m a bad father. She says true, I got love in that family, you left me and didn’t see me once, I missed you a lot, every child misses his parents, Rajshri and Vishwamber are my parents now, I got emotional, how the way you left me, I m going to leave you. She goes. Naman calls her out. She thinks of Abir’s words. She thinks to stay strong and hide her pain. She thanks the stranger/Abir.

Abir says what happened to Kunal suddenly. He sees Meenakshi and runs to help. He says Kunal will be okay. She says I m worried for Kunal. He takes her. They see Kunal fine. Kunal thanks Lord and says there can’t be a better place for your reunion. Meenakshi says you are fine, I got a call that you got dizzy and fainted. Kunal says sorry, I wish you both stay together, I made this excuse. Meenakshi says I will always come when my sons call me, I don’t go away by leaving the responsibilities, I never went. She taunts Abir. Abir jokes that her taunts fill his stomach, he doesn’t need any food. Meenakshi says I should leave. Abir asks Kunal to go to her. Kunal goes after Meenakshi. Rajshri says till when I secretly give money to Naman. Mishti comes and hugs her. She says I missed you a lot, where is Kuhu. She looks for Kuhu and asks where are you. She says we won the competition, we have to celebrate. Vishwamber hugs her. Mishti and Kuhu hug and do a drama. Mishti apologizes. Kuhu says fine, I forgive you. Mishti recalls Naman’s words. She says my earring was hurting me. She thinks where did my other earring go.

Bau ji asks Abir not to fight Meenakshi. Abir says someone has to fight, I m straightforward. Bau ji says you are like Meenakshi, she also thinks just she is right. Abir says she forces everyone to believe her, I don’t force anyone, I m worried for Kunal, he had a breakup, he was so happy, now he is working day and night. Bau ji says he should get married, what problem do you have. Abir says marriage can’t be any solution, we can keep Kunal away from work for two days and celebrate holi. Bau ji agrees. Abir says you need to get married, shall I find someone for you. He laughs and runs. Bau ji laughs. Mishti and Kuhu dance on Piya piya…. Everyone dances with them. Varsha gets emotional and cries. Jasmeet says we should cut a cake for them. Shaurya asks what happened Varsha, you got emotional. Vishwamber says its time to get your daughters’ married. Kuhu says there will be a line of alliances for me. Rajshri says someone will come and take Mishti away too. Mishti thinks every girl wants the guy to have her dad’s values, I don’t want the guy to have any qualities like my dad.

Rajshri gets Naman and Mishti’s pic. She gets shocked. They cut the cake. Kunal and Abir like the arrangements. Parul says Meenakshi has managed everything. Abir says I don’t have a reason to celebrate, Meenakshi manipulated Ketki. Kunal says not fair, Ketki agreed by her wish. Abir says holi is celebrated to burn evil spirits, but evil doesn’t get away, why to get cheered up, didn’t you see how mum used the fact that dad left her. Kunal says mum didn’t pressurize Ketki, its true that dad left us, its harsh to hear this. Parul says Abir has come back, are you happy. Meenakshi says yes, mum’s responsibilities are never over, I m happy, but worried, I m scared that Abir came home, this will always go on. Bau ji says I was so troubled in raising you, you were so stubborn. She says I wasn’t like Abir. Bau ji says let them get married and the see. She says I want them to get married, but we need decent girls, did you find one, if you have found, I promise to get both of them married in same mandap.

Precap:
Abir says think that this earring is of your Bhabhi. Meenakshi throws the earrning in the holika fire, calling it evil. Abir catches the earring.

Episode 4 express review:

Mostly a filler kind of episode, before the big Holi fun😃

Nevertheless, still very enjoyable, with a little more insight into the different characters and their family members

-BM and strong protective nature for Mishti. BM's secret dealing with Naman

-Mishti's building strength and courage from Abir's words, to reject her pap👍🏼👏

-Kunal's cute little prank to try and get Abir n Meenu together😆😳

(So kunal has always had this cheeky prankster in him, which we now experienced with his biwi and bhabhi😛)

-Get more insight into Abir and Meenu's complicated relationship: their stark contrasts in ideologies

-Awdorable naanu-Abir bro bond😳

-Naanu's plan to get his grandsons married😆
