Top Overseas Grossers 2020: Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior Leads

The overseas market saw just one HIT film with Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior and that was mainly because of the business in US / Canada and Australia. Us / Canada has contributed almost 50% of its overseas business.

Baaghi 3 was probably heading for a $4.50 million figures but its run got halted due to corona virus pandemic. The film was a HIT in Gulf as it reached almost $1.5 million before cinemas shut in Gulf. Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan could have also got a higher number but was banned in Gulf. The film would not have done that well in that market anyway but it could have added around $500k to the total.

Malang managed to score in Gulf which took its overseas business to $2 million with around 50% of it coming from Gulf. Basically Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior was a HIT, Baaghi 3 was a SEMI HIT while Malang and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan did AVERAGE business in Overseas. The top ten grossers overseas in 2020 are as follows,
