She can be ott, but that has nothing to do with being indian or american-and more to do so with her personality. we have watched her over the years have accepted the way she behaves and are used to it. She is being herself. She is a desi girl for sure, but she also grew up in America and has adopted some of their culture in her identity.

As someone said, indians will find this odd. and so will indian americans who think she is trying too hard to be american. She cant ever win. I personally can understand how she has both cultures in her identity and it can be confusing to people who arent cultured.

This explains in unbiased way of how and what she is going through.

She did not just move to America but also has an American husband now. Obviously she will have to adapt to american culture as well.

Props to her to maintain her Desi culture while at same time embracing theirs.

She has always been cringe. Bas ab international level pe cringe hai.

A few years ago when she first moved to LA for Quantico she posted a picture of herself at the produce section of a grocery store with a caption that said why were there so many fruits or something like that. As for the recent stuff, she has a lot of followers so I’m sure it’s useful information for a lot of people. Personally, I have a hard time taking hypocrites seriously. She attended a Holi party after the Corona advisory was issued. So her trying to act like an advocate now is eye roll worthy to me. Just like I rolled my eyes when Sara Ali Khan came back after visiting the markets of Varanasi and then started posting about social distancing. Or when Akshay was acting mad that people were going outside when he did his curfew thing outside. I don’t know if their privilege is making them blind to their own hypocrisy or if they are thinking their PR will be able to completely drown their stupidity with their positive actions or words.

I read an interesting piece about class warfare and this pandemic is defintely idolize celebs even less, which is a good thing. Just Cardi B's rants on how celebs feel sick and can get tested b/c they have money but someone actually sick and poor doesn't have the same resources. It's kind of like the Imagne video Gal Gadot and crew did that didn't age well b/c of obviously privilege. But yeah it's stuff lke this--I get ppl want to show awareness and be involved and i'm down for that but it's like just take a moment to breathe & gather facts without jumping into everything.

Nowadays, people are obsessed with celeb's online activities. They minutely follow and analyze them and yet complain celebs are showing off or trying hard. What else do you expect?? Priyanka is a wannabe but so is every single Bollywood star or celebrity. So is every single actress in Hollywood. Every last one of them. It's cringeworthy if you take them seriously but harmless time pass if you learn to chill and take it as amusement or time pass.

There are enough real life topics and issues to bother about.

Yes and guess what we can discuss this and also actual bad people too.

I see people using these words thoughtlessly without ever understanding the repercussions of it...All for what- for a celebrity who at the end of the day has no idea of our existence even....

Though m an introvert and even otherwise I don't go out. But 'being asked not to go out' vs. 'not going out by choice' does make a lot of difference.

Been sitting cooped up inside the house and working from home since 14 March.

Now, there is nothing good left to watch on Netflix/Prime. I have become too active on IF and Insta, and I don't like it🤣 21 days me ye habits set in hogayi to bahut problem hojayega😭

OMG same here...They say it takes 21 days to form a habit and bad habits form even more easily...All the efforts to keep away from IF all these days are going right into the drain now...The world is going to end anyway- doesn’t matter this way or that !

Yes. That's why I said 21 days me habit form hojayega. For me it will be one month exactly. 14 March to 14 April. That is if they lift the curfew by then. I hope they find a vaccine soon enough.

There are so many brilliant minds out there, I am sure they will come up with something. M gonna hold on to that positive thought to keep me going.
