Does anyone else find Priyanka very cringe? - Page 2

She can be ott, but that has nothing to do with being indian or american-and more to do so with her personality. we have watched her over the years have accepted the way she behaves and are used to it. She is being herself. She is a desi girl for sure, but she also grew up in America and has adopted some of their culture in her identity.

As someone said, indians will find this odd. and so will indian americans who think she is trying too hard to be american. She cant ever win. I personally can understand how she has both cultures in her identity and it can be confusing to people who arent cultured.

She's lucky if they ignore her WHO and Tedros alliance. Do you know how much people hate them? As of January, they were doing Chinese propaganda that COVID-19 does not show person-to-person transmission. They said there should be no travel restrictions to and from Wuhan and implied that countries that want to close borders with China are racist. This is when the first COVID-19 deaths had already occurred.

Tedros and WHO have had a major hand in this catastrophe by doing China's bidding and helping their lies and cover-ups. They have become irrelevant now in this whole thing which is why they've got time to waste sitting on celebrity instas.

PC has entered the same space as Sonam and Swara Bhaskar where anything she does is going to be hated by stan twitter because they just don't like her. Both Sonam and PC have a habit of jumping into every trending topic for attention without knowing much about it.

In any case, she is lucky the hate is confined to stan twitter. If they paid more attention to the news, there is a real reason for hate here with her needlessly pumping up Tedros and WHO.

The World Health Organization tracks every virus, most are contained but when something like this happens pointing fingers and the blame game starts. It’s still the WHO and there’s nothing wrong in the information Priyanka shared.

The hate Priyanka gets is from bitter people that tried so hard to remove her as UNICEF ambassador but failed miserably and fans of some Bollywood actors and actresses holding past grudges. Anyways none of this really effects Priyanka at all, people will be pressed regardless... they just want their 15 mins of likes and retweets... where’s that BeautyCon girl or those random Lollywood actresses... Amitabh’s Twitter is a shit show. He tweets and retweets nonsense most of the time. If the virus had originated in North America like H1N1 I’m sure no one would be posting stuff like this.

No more than usual. A few years ago when she first moved to LA for Quantico she posted a picture of herself at the produce section of a grocery store with a caption that said why were there so many fruits or something like that. She’s from India and she was pretending to be shocked by seeing many choices for fruits 🙄. I do think she desperately wants to appear as this cool Indian American chic who’s liked by all. Hence the trying too hard.

As for the recent stuff, she has a lot of followers so I’m sure it’s useful information for a lot of people. Personally, I have a hard time taking hypocrites seriously. She attended a Holi party after the Corona advisory was issued. So her trying to act like an advocate now is eye roll worthy to me. Just like I rolled my eyes when Sara Ali Khan came back after visiting the markets of Varanasi and then started posting about social distancing. Or when Akshay was acting mad that people were going outside when he did his curfew thing outside. I don’t know if their privilege is making them blind to their own hypocrisy or if they are thinking their PR will be able to completely drown their stupidity with their positive actions or words.
