I wish everyone would give him a break! There was a video of his kid on his balcony circulating on social media and his ex-wife appears in it for a nanosecond. Some of his so-called fans have lost their ever loving minds over it. You have no idea the tamasha some people make over every Sussanne sighting :/ If you don’t know about that video (and it’s “fan” reaction) I can see why you think his instagram post was overkill. If you do, it looks like proactive hype deflation. He’s trying to stave off the next wave of “oh my God they are living in” followed by “look what they are doing for PR” stories. So read his post. Sussanne the “ex-wife” (in case there is doubt) “volunteered” (wasn’t invited) “temporarily” (not permanent) moved in because goodness knows how long one of them would have been separated from their kids if they didn’t cohabit. Meantime he has been kind to his ex (“dear Sussanne”) thanked her voluminously, and been clear to his fans (if they liked him enough to trust him) she isn’t sleeping in his bed (sofa city baby) and they are doing this as co-parents for their kids.

Speaking of, yes, I’m sure he has gone on location for weeks at a time. But there is a big difference between that and this. There is a pandemic. People Hrithik’s (and Susaane’s) age can and do die of COVID19 - yes much less often than older people but they can and do. How heartless are people not to understand that maybe neither of them wants to separate from their sons for weeks, potentially months, nor understand that maybe their sons are scared too.

Please give him a break.
