He doesn't know what's happening in India as he was studying in London... though he is getting all comforts in his place so how would he know what's happening around and there is no ladies at home of his..how wil he know that gau ki ladki are going to river for bathing and stuff..He came to India and immediately got married before exploring what it lacks so can't blame him for that!!

But I can agree that he is not like bon as she keeps her point clear with her questions.. infact her questions has answer too 😳 she knows what to talk and how to talk with ease not like Ani who gets anger and irritated if ppl couldn't understand his point!! He hasn't seen real India. When he lived in London gender equality was a common thing and all things he talks of were pretty common i guess and nobody needed to fight for that. But still i expected him to know certain things, as his kaka said even ani used to go to river for bathing in his childhood, so it shouldn't be that shocking for him. He needs to go out see the reality. Reading books will give him knowledge no doubt but he shouldn't stay locked up in his study, he needs to go out, talk to people to out what real situation is. Slowly he will start doing that i feel.

And those men who came to complain, i agree they never accepted their mistake but one could see their guilty faces. They knew she was right but were just being stubborn on getting justice. Ani did right by shooing them away but he needs to learn some tark skills from bondu- to calmly convince people in the way they understand and should not resort to yelling.

@ bold - aww true, both are incomplete without each other. both have a lot to learn from each other and both will grow together

He is a way ahead of his time his thoughts are good about gender equality and all that but he lacks the basic awareness of his surroundings. And the problem is he has very less patience, if someone doesn't agree with him he just shouts and yells and forces his thoughts down their throats. As you said bondita is much more convincing, she raises questions which no one can disagree with. Even the men who came for complaining, kaka and everyone were speechless at her tark, they also knew what she was speaking wasn't wrong. If ani would have spoken instead of her i feel he would just have shouted and shooed them away.

And Ani has one more delusion. About Mini. He thinks of her as that perfect image of a woman whom he needs. Mainly I think she has education and he feels she is THE WOMAN. But then he do not know about her actual face and attitude because they never actually spend time with each other, they only sent love letters and I feel from Mini, they won't even talk about any real things other than her prem and ishhhh by the bishh.

Yup, if it had been Aniruddh he would have just yelled and men would have gone away fearing him. Issue is he instills fear or forces everyone. In short, He needs to understand trust and change cannot be brought with force and fear.
