I think with reboot what EK wanted to do different was AnuPre 2.0 won't fall for anyone else or hv their kids unlike AnuPre 1.0. Prerna will be with her husband, she's already been married to him longer than she was to Anurag, same as AnuLika. But they r constantly with each other in other's minds, and Anurag 2.0 has never doubted Prerna's fidelity even during those 4 months. And surprisingly EK hasn't tried to change that.
What she's trying to tell is the story of two ppl who are each other's life but can never be a part of each other's lives for one reason or another.
It would've been a painfully beautiful story if it'd been backed up by good writing without any character butchering. Couldn't they've shown someone telling Anurag that Prerna took Sneha instead of him just assuming? And idk if EK wants to keep this AnuPre vs Other Couple thing going on she needs redeem Anurag a bit. Show that he knows more than he's letting on. I mean fine Pre survived the howrah fall coz of his divers(acc to him) but how did he know that she was well taken care of and not homeless, starving on the streets?. And also why is he with Komolika all these years? Maybe they'll reveal more with time depending on TRPs. But irrespective of future track they need to tie these loose ends, it shouldn't be forgotten like Vikrant or viraj and Prerna's husband's backstory, otherwise they've ruined Anurag as a character, and demeaned his love for Prerna
But maybe as of now, they want to focus on Prerna's revenge and for once I am glad they r making her tactically plan things instead of last time's "revenge" where Prerna listened to her heart and didnt have much to do. I hope they continue it,but gradually and SLOWLY they need to start showing Anurag's redemption pls NO overnight redemptions and character change.
On the other hand I just LOVE Komolika torturing MoNi, they r finally getting what they deserve. Hope to see more of this. And even Prerna's interactions with MoNi.
