Given time to moan the loss of Prerna and Sneha (as per Nivedita) Yes, Anurag could have tried to push Komolika into a corner which is how the whole drunken one nighter happened which resulted in Diya.

So take 9 months for pregnancy (13 if you live in Kasautii land) along with about a thousand other manipulative reasons, including Mohini, society and whatever else Komolika could come up with - overlook the whole blood donation to Moloy soon after birth incident - even possibly...

Let's say they tried something against Komolika and in response she played the whole blood relation I'll retaliate, you will submit game... Anurag - thinking that Sneha was with Prerna and that they were both safe could have decided to "sacrifice" himself in keeping Komolika close and that way protect Prerna and their daughter. His only form of escapism was his work so he focused on that - He regrets his daughter with Komolika as Komolika uses it as a lever and she ties him to Komolika even though he loves the child (child is innocent in this).

Komolika is confidant that she has a firm hold on the Basus which is why she taunts Anurag with what she will do to Prerna - there is no trusting disclosure - he has made his animosity towards her very clear.

So Anurag is in for a shocker when he realizes that Sneha is not with Prerna (and Prerna thinks she is dead) and that he has given up 8 years for nothing.

The only conclusion is that anurag Basu ( in turn the Creatives) is a dumbass and he never wastes a chance to prove it.

Thanks to divers, he thought P was saved, CAME BACK to the farm house, saw him romancing K so as to further convince P he wasn’t into her, then WENT BACK to Basu Bari, took the child and went to....where?

Even if I buy that anurag thought this was his ‘plan’ to keep P safe, the fact that he expected such high level thinking from P AFTER she was thrown from the F**KING HOWRAH BRIDGE is laughable. Like just, hilarious.

Ok Okok... I have suspended by thinking, but even by anurag’s majboori standards, this plan sucks ass. Because he never checked on them. All this..,drop from the bridge, taking sneha, was to have happened on the same day, In one continuous time flow, SO after they left, WHY didn’t he check on them? He didn’t know Bajaj saved P, so.., what did he think P and sneha were doing? How were they surviving?

I THINK have said this before, this cavalier attitude towards sneha, is what makes anurag totally unredeemable for me. How you treat P, is still justifiable, but that attitude to a child? The voluntary lack of exercise of his right as a dad for EIGHT years... cuz you know this man child will soon be in everyone’s face telling anyone who’ll hear tha sneha is his atoot connection to P.
