Blaming Mishti for everything is the easiest thing for Kuhu, then she goes on to break things in her room, after all this if Mishti wants to stop Kuhu’s battamij behavior by telling people her truth, she is being petty? Liars are good and people telling the truth are petty?

You did not point out any incident where Mishti tried to belittle Kuhu in front RVs, why? Because there's none, where I gave many incidents of Kuhu putting Mishti down and bitching about her to Meenu.

@bold - If you understand it then is it difficult for you to understand Mishti? Kuhu doesn't regret in front of Mishti, she does not apologize in front of Mishti, Mishti tried to bury the hatchet on first night of her wedding itself but Kuhu has hurt her and Abir time and again without any remorse or apology. Mishti and Abir's silence is just making Kuhu feel she can do anything and everything to Mishti, none will tell on her and apparently telling on people about their wrongdoing is trying to put them down where these people can lie blatantly to Meenu like Kuhu did in temple

Well if we talk of all four leads none are perfect, everyone has got their own strengths and weaknesses. Coming specifically to Mishti and Kuhu - first my analysis of Mishti.

Mishti- Can understand her abandonment issue.. being left behind by parents and being brought up by relatives with constant reminder is not easy. And one thing which annoyed me about her was she could never appreciate what she had. BP and BM saw their daughter in her and I say that even real parents would not have done that much which they have done. Once she came to know that her father was blackmailing BM, did she talk with her to reassure her, No. She use to venture out behind their backs in nighttime, do things behind their back and hid many from them but when comforted she never hid as she was sure of their love. Another flaw of her is she obtuse to other people feelings and hurts others unintentionally and has habit of trying to rub in her deeds like because of me rejecting job you got it, because I refused Kunal you could marry him, etc. Her strengths are she is honest, confident and genuinely helpful

Kuhu- she is complex. She hids her insecurities in gab of her Kuhuness. My understanding is when Mishti was brought in newly, they would have been incidents when her needs were overlooked in favour of Mishti and though BM/BP are good parents to their daughter- Akshara/Mishti but as grandparents they are a disappointment because I have seen their interaction of Akshara and her Dadi in parent show which sadly Rajshri couldn’t become to either Ananya or Kuhu. Second they have not shown who said and how Kuhu being illegitimate daughter been revealed and how she received it but her reactions post marriage- Kunal truth, divorce, Kunal mother revelation - she wanted to protect Varsha, she doesn’t want to disappoint her. For people saying she fell in love with Kunal only for status, I don’t think so. If it was she would have left him long back. Her weakness is she is not forthcoming towards her feelings, his it and tries to vent it out on people like Mishti. She is insecure and impulsive. If her insecurities are addressed properly then she can spread joy around her..Currently Kuhu hates Mishti as - Her brother and her mother were hurt badly, and because of Mishti she may loose her Rajvansh family.

If someone can talk to both the sisters separately, address their insecurities things can only escalate between them

It's better if we ignore these kind of posts in which they twist the situation entirely to show that kuhu is the victim n mishti is the culprit.. These ppl have forgotten that the reason mishti wanted to bring kuhus truth out was not bcoz of her ego but it was bcoz parul masi was taking the entire blame on herself and Nidhi mami n kunal were doubting parul.. Mishti wanted to truth to come out so that the other family members don't blame parul.. But these kuhu lovers conveniently forgets these important things.. Was kuhu right in putting the entire blame on masi in spite of knowing that parul is innocent.. She didn't even defend parul when Nidhi got the sleeping pills bottle from kuku's room.. It's clear that she doesn't care about anyone

I’m just a long lost member of this forum, but just felt like commenting today on your post.

To sum it up, both the sisters are flawed and both have issues that definitely warrant some serious psychological counseling if it were real life, but since this is an Indian TV show and Indian TV is still prehistoric when it comes to taking the help of modern science, all we can come up with is hypothetical solutions.

From what I have seen, neither kuhu nor her life is complicated. She neither has tried nor has needed to prove anything to anyone in the RV family. She has already established her place in their hearts and their lives in the time she has spent there by her nature. The presence of mishti now in the RV house isn’t going to reduce the love the RV family has for kuhu. The day Kuhu realizes her happiness doesn’t depend on mishti’s existence or nonexistence in her life, most of her issues will be solved. On the contrary, all she has to do is concentrate on the relationships and the place she has made for herself in the RV family and her husband, her issues would be resolved. Tomorrow if Kuhu decides to completely ignore mishti and just concentrated on herself, even then she would be happy.

Exactly this.. But all kuhu wants is to compete with mishti.. Ohh come on mishti has just been married to rv house so obviously the members there would try to keep mishti at ease n help her be part of the family by showing her their love and support.. Didn't rv members pamper kuhu when she was newly married even now they pamper her so much.. But she just can't stand mishti getting little love and support from the family members? Also y can't she just ignore mishti If mishti is the reason of all the so called problems in her life.. Kunal had planned a holiday for both of them but she wanted to snatch mishti 's right to doing the puja.. Now it's all in kuhus hand, she has two options either ignore mishti and live her life happily with kunal or compete with mishti and make everyone's life a hell

Hi Rashi!

I am sorry if you got that vibe but I get where you're coming from because at some point a few weeks ago, we were all doing that. We were all just defending our favourite characters as if the other person was attacking them and we were their saviours which is so not true. But since then, I have personally noticed the shift in the way the conversation is put through now which suggests that people are starting to be more open in this forum and trying to understand each other's perspectives. It may be because of how the show is progressing or the effort in enforcing the rules by the IF team or both but I do see it.

I just wanted to point out that there are no Kuhu defenders. It may come off like that sometimes because we have chosen to dissect and understand her (and Kunal's) character and the motivations behind her actions in the AT like other people have done for Mishti. The main forum is a place for all of us to share and understand the show as a whole and get more perspective on the characters we don't seem to understand fully. I feel that is what the TM here was trying to do: understand the reasons behind Mishti's actions and how the show portrays her. Maybe how the post was written rubbed you off in a wrong way but I don't think that was ever the intention as they mentioned at the starting of their post.

I hope you can see the effort for what it is because nobody has the time in their lives to start a fight here and bash a character. We have all seen how that goes in the last few weeks. Thanks for reading!

I hope that you read my other post in which I clearly stated y mishti wanted to bring kuhus truth in front of the family.. Also the post maker clearly forgot that parul was taking the entire blame on her and kuhu did nothing to support Parul.. It's bcoz of this thing mishti wanted the truth to come out bcoz kuhu dint even had an ounce of guilt in her instead she was again blaming mishti that mishti was trying to trap her.. If anyone wants to do analysis of the track or the scenes then they should properly watch the show and then do the homework and analysis and then put up the post.. It was not mishtis ego it was mishtis righteousness to bring the innocence of parul in front of the family..

Ps: I was not bashing any character I was just telling the truth

Oh I certainly didn't mean to ignore or look at things from just one perspective. I guess it is simply about how different people have different connect & affinity towards different characters.

For instance the mandaap issue...clearly shown Kuhu wanted to score point, threw her demand for the mandaap as a condition of re-marriage. So how does it matter she then shows concern? she got what she wanted, which is to spoil Mishti's day. It is like pushing someone, then showing concern they got hurt..duh, you hurt them in the first place!😳😆 ...anyway I won't bother with more as few people have already given more points.

In a way it does matter a lot to show concern. Mishti couldn't realize that her manner of getting married actually rendered Kuhu alone. In Kuhu's case what she wanted she conveyed in an unequivocal manner whereas in Mishti's case the ambiguity in her actions and thought process actually led to a very hurtful situation for Kuhu.

On a side note if I may add, they could have shown that Mishti doesn't have any problem at all in sharing her special day with her sister but the fact that they did show that she *did* have a problem is in itself worth appreciating. That serves as a hope for the likes of me who do not wish to see a storyline where one sister is made to look bad whereas another is unilaterally made to look great. They can both be flawed/selfish in some ways.

I look at the arcs and both Mishti and Kuhu are human, make mistakes but one does own up and apologies, keeps quiet if she thinks it will hurt others or create problems but does finally admit when it looks like it will personally affect someone she loves or cares about. The other, again consistent with her arc, is letting her sense of entitlement and enemity against one person (whom she is clearly jealous of and feels insecure about) colour her good judgement and does things that in real life is an indicator of someone who is mentally ill or at least a murderess in the making. To me this just means the writers are being correct and consistent😆

What we are shown is that sometimes love and other emotions can take people down the wrong path....we are seeing this play out between Mishkul. At the moment Kuhu is shades of black, but in some scenes are being shown how she was before letting others poison her mind, letting her insecurity about Mishti colour her and etc. Like real life our past actions make people judge us even if we are being at our best...it just means like real life, if you do one bad action you will have to do ten good actions before you are believed.

Writing techniques means we will see more of this rivalry, there is no wrong or right...it is what is, Mishti is the heroine and Kuhu is her sister who will complicate her life and vice versa. Their love is the tie and sometimes it is weak and other times it will be strong. The question is what will win? love or hate? Everything we see is a play of that theme between them.
