I don't buy the story that Kanika hid in bathrooms to avoid a screening. Sounds like total BS to cover up the government being inept. A lot of people weren't getting screened properly. I know of people personally who didn't go through any screening at the airport. Nobody was checking anything.

You dont have to wonder. She's being stupid,thats it. Kanika landed in Lucknow a day before self quarantine was mandated and it was everywhere and she still didnt fulfill her basic civic responsibility of isolation.

Childish is defending every single f*ckup of a celebrity not knowing the repercussions of their actions. Thats childish.

Will Sonam take responsibility if any poor person staff is infected by Kanika? The rich with their priviledged asses will not follow basic procedure while the poor wouldnt even know what hit them and online bullying is the concern? Sometimes its better to shut up and acknowledge that someone has made a bigass mistake that could/could have cost lives. Sonam needs to learn to shut up. I would really like to see her reaction if Kanika had infected a family member of hers.

I passed through Mumbai airport when swine flu was going on and they were pretending they were checking. They had a whole area set up where officials were sitting with masks. The whole thing was a disaster because hundreds of passengers were congregated in one area and nobody knew anything. We didn't even get checked. Just got a form and checked off a list ourselves that we didn't have fever and left. It was such a mess that a lot of people were leaving the area without even filling the form. Not that it would have helped anything.

Hopefully the situation has improved this time but I don't believe it. And it's not just India. I've had family passing through airports in NY and NJ this week and the same problem is there too. There is no real checking going on.
