So, basically what I am asking from you guys is how would you have wanted the scene to be when Kunal accepted Parul as his mother? Even the slightest of your wishful thinking could help me out here so please thodi help kar do!🙆🏻‍♀️

Sorry but I don't have any ideas. My mind is filled with other stuff

Guys did anyone watch Patakha movie? It's about 2 sisters who hate each other a LOT! Like literally pull each other hair and fight kind of. They fall in love with 2 guys who happen to be brothers and they are stuck in same sasural.

It's like a wild version of Kuhu and Mishti. But the movie's ending is also good.

I quite liked today's episode as a counter-balance to yesterday's. It's one of those rare occasions when they actually showed the sisters' tension in a semi-fair way. Yesterday was Kuhu's turn to be paranoid about Mishti's intentions, and therefore petty about taking control, while Mishti tried to focus on the problem at hand.

Today we got to see Kuhu's side of things pretty clearly when she approached the bride and Mishti kept trying to stop her but then insisted on tagging along once the bride responded well to Kuhu. Bringing up the Ketu incident in the midst of all this the exact habit of Mishti's that Kuhu hates most -- Kuhu ko nicha dikhana. Kuhu actually does this kind of thing for a living now, so there was absolutely no need to bring up a completely irrelevant incident from the past in front of a complete stranger and imply that she would mess up this girl's life because she offered to help with her dupatta. 🤔

It showcased Mishti's insecurity about Kuhu being so much easier with people (which they will never address but at least they are acknowledging it) quite well, and echoed her disappointment when Kuhu put colour on Meenu first at Holi. Kuhu puts herself out there in ways that Mishti fears doing. As a result, she makes bigger mistakes, but sometimes it also means she wins big when that effort is understood and appreciated.

Kunal is going to be in so much trouble, and it makes me so angry at Nanu and Abir. He was doing the right thing by going to the office and trying to restore normalcy -- the damage control that Parul is also frantically engaged in at the moment -- but Abir pulled him away at the wrong time, and then to keep that information from Meenu when she is looking for him AND don't tell Kunal that she's looking for him? After what happened just the day before? That's cold. 😳

And it's not like Abir and Nanu are going to bail him out of the consequences either. They will continue to act like Meenu's feelings don't matter, only making things worse for Parul and Kunal (and Kuhu by proxy), who actually care and stand to lose the most from her anger and insecurity.

The dance was supercute! 😃

I am terrified about what's going to happen with Kuku tomorrow, you know, if we even get a scene. They haven't talked since their big fight, and I don't really see the writers being generous with any kind of romance.

Tomorrow's episode I read on Twitter is going to be an hour long. So I guess there is every chance of there being a KuKu scene too.

Oh, that's interesting! Trying not to get my hopes up thinking of what we saw the last time there was an hour-long episode ☺️😉

@ bold: I think this is further reinforced when Charmi asks Kuhu specifically to stay back for the rest of the engagement event. It was brief, but there was a shot of Mishti's face right when that happened, with her wearing a look of self-doubt/insecurity. Up until now, Kuhu's insecurities have been portrayed and emphasized upon to an enormous extent, but in this episode, we got to see an insecure Mishti, from the whole silly "Charmi" misunderstanding, to Kuhu's extroverted nature.

Naanu made me kind of upset today, I'm really not going to lie. Being an elder of the house, he should know the consequences these kinds of things have, especially knowing his daughter's nature and the influence she has over the entire family's dynamic. I think that this little stunt that Abir pulled and Naanu supported will ultimately fuel Meenakshi's hatred towards Kuhu and Mishti even more, by making her feel that the two girls have distanced her sons from her (I'm getting major Ishwari from KRPKAB vibes here).

If there is gonna be any KuKu scene tomorrow, I'm keeping my expectations extremely low. If they patch up, brilliant. If not, I just foresee Kunal being his usual aloof self, worrying about his mother and his company and basically anything but Kuhu.

These past few episodes have summed up the whole "Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke" element of this show: Use "pyaar ka bandaid" to do a bang-up fixer upper job of everyone's glaring insecurities: Meenu's insecurities about Parul, Kuhu's insecurities about Mishti, Mishti's insecurities about Kuhu and Abir, Kunal's insecurities about Kuhu, Parul's insecurities about her place as Kunal's mother... I could go on and on here.

Hi guys, I had posted the below thing on the other post thinking of certain AT related rules. But then I think this forum is different from the other forum I was a part of so it would be just fine to mention the below points here as well :D

I found today's episode to be bit of a stretch apart from the Meenu-Parul scene which was absolutely fab!! And Kunal is so pragmatic, it is <3

Enjoyed the funny tid-bits with Mishti-Kuhu in Wednesday and Thursday's episodes, it almost felt weird to see them talking to each other normally today smiley36

I do not understand what Mishti is trying to achieve by being stubborn about the whole photo frames or coffee spiking matter. She would only put the matters to rest after seeing Kuhu get berated? :-/ Sucks !!

That said I also feel Abir is doing a bad job at trying to explain to Mishti. If he really wants to guide her through and help her adopt a different approach maybe he can communicate it in a more considerate manner. Keeps taking me back to how brilliant was Kuhu with guiding through Kunal post their marriage. Then again Kunal also used to listen and proactively adopt her suggestions. Mishti by nature is stubborn. It is better if it is Parul she falls back on for advice rather than Abir.
