I want to watch further episodes and reserve my judgements for now. Yesterday I did share in this forum that it's character butchering of Maya if she uses an innocent person. But after watching last night's episode, I feel Vikram is an unreliable narrator.

I honestly don't think it is character butchering... people take all sorts of extreme measures to survive.

He might be a creep, but he never forced himself on Maya. She agreed to marry him of her own volition.

If they show that she was somehow forced to accept him, then its okay. Otherwise, she's just another creep.
