What I have a problem with is Maya using innocent people like Vikram (IF he is innocent, that is) who are no way connected to the Roys in her quest for revenge. That's all

Now you went from Rishi's murder can not be justified to everything Maya does to Roy family is COMPLETELY justified. There's no room for discussion if you think killing innocents in justified

This is a revenge story . Maya wanting to destroy the Roys is completely justified. Killing Rishi can not be justified but is completely understandable as it aligns with her character's main motive. You completely ignored my point about MJ. MJ is the outright villain of this show and not Maya.

You also completely ignored my point about how this current track butchers Maya's character. Anyway, toodles😃

I would still say that if one can kill then cheating is not a big deal, murder is a bigger crime and motive for both was Maya's revenge

Killing Rishi was a part of her agenda. Making MJ feel the pain of losing his children! Maya is not someone who relishes killing or destroying lives like MJ. MJ is the one who triggered Maya to take the law into her own hands and seek justice in her own way.

Cheating/exploiting anyone who is NOT connected to the Roys makes Maya's character lose its essence because the majority empathised with her as she had her moral compass intact and she was the wronged one; the victim. A victim of such magnitude can not use another innocent person NOT connected to the Roys in any way for revenge. What is so hard to understand? This new entry was not preplanned contrary to what the makers say. Little Manvi herself was a Krishna bhakt. She did not need this new person to imbibe the teachings of the Gita. The MayRa hug flashback Vikram gets also does not make sense. In the original episode it was Rajeev who sees them hug and in fact asks Maya if she was falling for Rudra. So yes, this new entry is here to butcher the character of Maya.

not everything is justified in terms of taking revenge. rishi ko tadpa tadpa kar marna was not justified. 🤔 intially i thought maya ko guilt hai rishi ke marne ka but when mj exposed her, she said tumne mere bache ko mara maine tumhare bache ko mara. that moment i felt ise toh rishi ko marne ka koi gam nhi hai. jo rishi ka naam use karna rudra ke samne, it was all a lie, just an act in front of rudra. 🤡

It is called tit for tat. She regretted killing him but she also knows everything is fair in love and war and this was WAR. Maya killing Rishi is a part of her revenge. You should not watch the show when it forms the very basis of the story.

@Bold: What else was she supposed to say? It was MJ's karma that killed Rishi.

well the flashback is from both vikram and maya's view point. aisa nhi vikram ne man gadant kahani suna di. it is makers point of story like how maya got saved that night and she got the name maya. vikram is just the medium to showcase the past.

Maya killing Roys for something which MJ did is her motive, it's not right and as a viewer I can clearly see how in her quest to get justice she has embodied what MJ was, his ideology, his lines, his words etc

Like you have said it is not justified but understandable, similarly one can dissect and try to understand why MJ did what he did, everything is understandable but people don't get leeway for being understandable

I understand why Maya killed Rishi but I don't understand why she cheated on Vikram, the reason is same for both, she is driven by revenge, she didn't kill Antara, Diya who were involved in her ruination but an innocent Rishi died, this is lopsided and the next twist doesn't butcher Maya for me as I don't put her on the pedestal of righteousness, if one can kill then cheating is not a big deal

Who can understand why MJ played with Maanvi's feelings? If he was so concerned about his family, he would have been dedicated to them. He has a good business, a large family and what not? What was the need for him to cut his wrist & tell lies to Manvi that Antara is cheating on him & gain her sympathy? Yes, it is Maya's fault too. Her only fault was she didn't mind her own business or consult her family.
