literally Maya Mehothra set the BAR so high. The fact I could empathize with MM despite her being a messed up person 🤣

This season is a watered down version of last season 🤢

Maya Jaisingh is a knockoff of Maya Mehothra, difference was we understood why MM became the way she was, and I don't know but Jennifer was a stronger actress in 2016/2017. It seems forced this time around.

Rudra is a knockoff of Arjun Sharma. Both hot tempered guys and started to hate Maya after she killed their family members (Rishi and Vandana Ma)

MJ and Ashwin are both horrible father figures in Maya's life. Only difference is Maya M never had a sexual relationship with Ashwin.

Vikram is a darker version of Samay, both wronged by Maya. However Samay was the first to take advantage of Maya to give back her company. And Maya M would've loved Samay if he hadn't taken advantage of her. And what can be inferred from Vikram is that Maya used him as a stepping stone and used him for her "revenge"

CVs need to do better 🤣

when Beyhadh 2 launched, I did expect a darker Maya. Not a basic microwaved khicidi like you said 🤪 but it seems as if Mehothra was far more darker to begin with and this is a light Naagin version of Beyhadh season one 🤣

See the only point I want to make here is I don't feel the urge to watch next epi as bh2 at this point has become neither thriller nor love story for me. In bh season 1 the urge to watch was there throughout

You forget that Maanvi was nice and innocent to, It is MJ who made her the way that she is, and let me point out that what what MJ did to Maya is a million times worse then what Maanvi did with Vikram. So why no understanding for the way that she is?

The story is being told from Vikram's point of view. But there is obviously more to it. The guy is not right in the head, if he's here for revenge why doesnt he just focus on that, why is he touching maya inappropriately and trying to force himself on her in the precap. How can such a guy believe in only doing good?.

MJ used Maya and dumped her, Vikram seems to be lusting over her too.

The reason why she fell for Rudra is because he only loved her for her and never her physical appearance.

You stole my words. Couldn't agree more. People forget the fact that MJS is a victim of abuse. I really don't understand when people say things that MJ an assole is better than Maya. They are defending a monster like MJ on this forum. Like wow!

@norasm no actor or producer is gonna tell they have changed script. It needed a Harshad Chopda to scream out, I had to take poison pill openly post his ITA award and many criticised him for that, telling he is salty abt BP closing suddenly. Oh please. Many actors openly mock the tracks of their shows. Rajeev Khandelwal very famously walked out of KTH citing differences with Ekta. Jennifer Winget herself openly said in her posts she had many creative differences with Prateek in season 1. HC is not the only actor who speaks about changed script lool. Moreover it was JW who had to take the so called poison pill in that Ram Sita track and not him. Yes, this new entry is not pre planned but it is not like these things have never happened in any show before. At least the BH2 episodes are highly engaging despite the corona scare and other caveats.

The only thing good about season 2 is the cast. The script and thrill component is shoddy (not that S1 was amazing but atleast the makers stuck to the concept and Maya M was a consistent character and far more interesting)
