This actually makes sense given the way the characters are written. Rudra wouldn't just accept what MJ said at face value. He would want to get to the bottom of everything himself, but he can't do that if Maya is missing and MJ was the last one to be seen with Maya. Obviously, Rudra can put two and two together.

So it is a leap then, not a flashback. Hmm...hopefully CVs don't stretch this memory loss track out like most shows do.

Agreed! Also, the video doesn't say that Maya killed Rishi, and Rudra never believed that the girl whom Rishi loved would kill him. He knows MJ wants to kill Rishi's girl, so he would be right to think that MJ probably tried to get rid of her. Maya can even pretend that she didn't realise Rishi loved her so much and would never try to hurt him. Rudra has seen Maya's love, so he wouldn't believe MJ so fast.

Who is Vikram and what is his role? Did MJ send him? (which would assume that MJ knows Maya is alive). Is he the new Samay from S1? So MJ is confirmed alive??

@ Bold: This. I don't get why MJ immediately assumed that Rishi's girlfriend killed Rishi. And also why Ananya assumed that the sketch must be of Rishi's girlfriend. Are both suggesting that if a boy likes or draws a girl then she must be his gf? That must mean that an artist has hundreds of girlfriends/boyfriends because they must draw/paint/sketch a lot of people.
