Hey I'm new and a silent reader from past 1 month.

I also don't like the character of mishti.

Actually I see this serial only for Ritvik and one thing also I want to say which is not relatable to this topic that I love the acting of kaveri on Dandiya night when Kunal gave him divorce papers that was quite real.

Phewww😅😅bahut dino se soch rahi thi likhne ko finally likh diya☺️😊

Welcome to the AT, Goldy!🤗

From a former silent reader to another, I know starting to share your views in an unknown forum is difficult but I'm pretty sure you'll find your footing soon! Hope to see you be more active!😊

Hey Goldy! Welcome 🤗

Feel free to express your views here. This is a public platform and there's nothing to worry about sharing thoughts.

Its not that I dislike Mishti but I just don't connect with her. And yes, Kaveri nailed it in the divorce papers sequence. I sometimes watch it every now and then. The sad Bekhudi always touches my heart💔

Keep coming and posting 😊

AT waalo! I saw the episode and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised to notice the change in my behaviour while watching the episodes. Dead expectations ke saath show dekhna is so much more freeing and enjoyable. So, here are my thoughts on the episode:

1. Kunal wanting Kuhu to display her Kuhuness and taking her aside when she was supposed to share her ideas seemed a little weird to me because I knew (since reading the AT) we weren't going to get a KuKu scene. I found it weird because the whole family was supposed to plan the event together so why take her aside?🤷🏻‍♀️

2. Shehenshah Nanu was the highlight for me! Abir getting scared was so funny🤣

3. I have to say I am glad that Abir didn't force Nanko to give Parul the designation of his mother but I have a feeling he had something to do with Kunal finding out about this Sukhiram fellow or maybe Kunal just found out on his own through Jugnu. Who knows?

4. Kuhu taking maami aside👍🏼. Maami takes care of her Kuhu teacher and Kuhu saves her from Kunal's anger. Also, ek teer se do nishaane: iss se pehle Kunal ke gusse ko hawa lage, bhaag lo!🏃‍♀️

5. BB is trying to gain Kuhu's confidence by involving her in the dressing up process. Someone tell me why is Kuhu being impressed with these oldie type haars? Is she supposed to be a fashionista? What are the writers doing here?? Koi bhi haar thodi pasand aa jaata hai??🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

6. The apology scene was cute and I agree with Sam on the camera team thing. It's good publicity so why not? Bonus: We also got to see that Kunal is not happy with having to give up his company. I am not sure how I feel about Mishti giving up the rights. I guess I agree with y'all about the way it will affect Kuhu but it can also have a positive outcome for MishKu. We'll just have to wait and see.

7. Precap: The way Abir was behaving makes me feel that he had something to do with the Kunal and Parul thing. Also, can I just say Kunal could have gotten the 🎀 cut by both BB and Parul but drama barkaraar rehna chahiye so 😒. Now, Parul will come in BB's nishaana since she is trying to maintain the peace and disrupting her plans🤦🏻‍♀️.

P.S. I tried noticing Kuhu's look in the precap but dhang se dikha nahi but I liked the emerald colour and Kaveri can carry anything amazingly so I doubt she'll look bad. Although, I am concerned about Ritvik's upcoming look. He posted another story and his hair looks really bad. Couldn't he just get a normal haircut for god's sake? This is a very "player" type look (I couldn't use the actual word so player se kaam chala lo. I think y'all know what word I wanted to use🤪)

I started watching this show for abir too, I realised that abir is such an unconventional itv lead that I fell in love with his character right away, I mean he is so compassionate, understanding, heads an ngo, is banjara, does poetry, it was such a relief from usual itv heroes who are brooding, billion dollar mnc heads

then I started liking mishti too, though she was quite typical itv FL but still she stood out for me, I found her very brave, intelligent & smart so I continued watching just mishbir parts since the show was becoming typical dramatic itv show☺️

then kuku got married & I started loving the kuku track, kaveri stood out with her acting & her character & dialogues were written beautifully👏

infact both ritvik & kaveri nailed their parts👍🏼

and during ganesh visarjan scene when kunal hugs kuhu, I realised how deep these 2 characters are, though kuhu acts all fun & casual, it was the 1st time I realised that she is infact very mature & understanding⭐️

also kunal being vulnerable reflected how layered this character is, so since then I have been watching it regularly for kuku😳

the excessive drama in mishbir story ruined it for me, but I still continued 👎🏼

but post leap since nish-mish attack I have lost all connect with mishti unfortunately😒

This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't think Kuhu ever listened to Abir in that sense. What she loves about him is that he hears her out and doesn't judge her for her apparent shortcomings, whether it was continuing to love Kunal despite his indifference or being too afraid to tell her family the truth and holding out hope that Kunal would come around. Abir was the only person who gave her space to feel what she felt but ALSO respected her decisions about how she wanted to move forward.

He sees her the way she wants to be seen, as an adult who is has her flaws but is also sensitive and talented and capable of handling her life her way. And Kuhu provides the same safe space for Abir -- that is the strength of their relationship, on which they can call each other out and show each other the right path -- because they know it's coming with the understanding that, I am not judging you as a person based on this action, but I am calling this action out as wrong.

So yes, Abir's words will have an impact, but it won't be a match for Meenu's concerted efforts and Jasmeet vocalising Kuhu's worst fears, unless she receives an equally constant stream of validation. Like I said, Kuhu responds instinctively to her immediate surroundings -- the more hostile they are, the more she struggles to keep the spark of positivity alive.

I see your point. I was thinking about the Kubir convo after the garba. He says a few things that do make her think. But, yes, more often than not, it's just the comfort of having someone hear her out.
I love the Kubir you describe but I'm not sure if they're the same anymore. It seems like Abir will be helping kuhu out (that's if he does/can) just to protect Mishti. I mean he's right in doing so - kam se kam koi toh apne priorities samjhe *cough Kunal cough*.

@bold:
I used to think maybe if MishKu just heard each other out but I think their too far apart. Mishti's way of dealing Kuhu just doesnt work. I always knew abir would be the one to provide a forum for Kuhu to safely express what she's feeling and maybe why, in future.
Kunal is kuhus 'Hero' but not the go-to guy which is quite concerning really.
But the problem is, as mentioned by dreamgal, how she starts to control her emotions. She needs a way to break the chain of thoughts when she's triggered and I don't know if being able to have a decent convo with Abir once in a blue moon will help permanently.
If it's a constant, we may see her moving forward gradually. Otherwise it'll have to be something drastic that happens.

Interesting journey! I think I'm the only one who literally couldn't stand Kuhu's character initially but now is analyzing in depth on her. Kaveri is indeed a brilliant actress. KuKu has so much potential but they are under utilized
