I had typed this post as a reply in one of the threads I made 2days back. But later refrained from posting it as I thought how foolish I am to spend time justifying/arguing for fictional characters, while in real life, thousands are living under constant threat of the pandemic corona. Yet, today as i got to watch yesterday's & today's episode, I couldn't stop myself again. To be at peace, I had to post my thoughts after watching Bajaj's smirk twice - first after he says 'Now Mr. Basu will know who his opponent is' and then in today's precap when he says 'Ye Meri Prerna hai'. I do agree that my judgment about Bajaj will not match those of Bajaj supporters; but it has nothing to do with my biasedness for Anurag. It's Bajaj's actions that puts him in doubt. I can explain why.
First of all, even before Anu pushed Pre off the bridge, there were lots of instances that Pre's and Sneha's life was under threat. First, at the hospital when Komo was about to stab Pre and second when she was thrown off the cliff. Why in these instances Bajaj didn't feel like saving Pre, when he had a spy informing everything that is happening with Prerna. Yes, it is because of the creatives decision that it was not the right time for Bajaj to enter. Then, isn't it quite normal to believe that the same liberty was taken when the same CVs decided to show Anu pushing Pre off the bridge because they wanted to portray Bajaj's dhamakedaar entry as Pre's savior. If not, they could have just made it as Bajaj confronting Anu, as soon as he got the news of Anu transferring the properties into his name and remind him how he had warned Anu that if at all he tries to play with Pre's happiness, he will come back and take Pre away. Anu too would have played along using the paternity aspect and that would have forced Pre to move on with Bajaj. CVs didn't let it happen. Why? Because, they wanted to keep Bajaj's motive in the dark.
Secondly, he claims that he loves Pre. Then going by the logic with which Anu is bashed for pushing Pre off the bridge on what would have happened if she got a heart attack in between, the same logic applies to Bajaj. Being the shrewd person he is, he should have already got the hint after coming to know about Anu's plans. Then why did he had to wait down the bridge and let Prerna go through that nightmarish act, if he indeed loved Pre. That means he too indirectly wanted Pre to hate Anu, so that his entry into her life will be easy.
Thirdly, yes, it is Prerna who wanted to avenge for all her losses. And I can understand that to get her away from Kolkata, Bajaj too had to agree to whatever she demanded then. But, why with the help of Kuki and by giving her a family atmosphere, Bajaj couldn't calm her down from being a revengeful person during this 8 long years? Instead, in addition to being the revengeful person, she has lost that warmth she used to share with Kuki. Why? Because, CVs wanted it to be that way.
Fourthly, why is he being shown over-concerned about Prerna and not at all concerned about Kuki? Even in today's episode, CVs have put it like Prerna had to remind him that Kuki too needs to be taken care of.
Finally, it might be a blooper or might have been part of the CVs initial plan to portray Anu in a bad light that the blood donating part was brought up. But till it is not cleared on what was Bajaj's or Komo's role and intention in that whole blood donating fiasco, I will believe that Bajaj did some foul play there. Because he himself did say that he had postponed the press conference after he came to know about Pre's delivery and then about AnuPre's marriage. Why did he had to cancel it when he heard about Pre's delivery, because at that time Anu got his memory back had happily accepted Pre & cutiepie? How was he sure of Anu's thought process even before Komo blackmailed Anu?
So, as long as CVs are keeping all these loops open, it is quite normal for me to doubt Bajaj's intentions starting from appearing all of a sudden out of the blues to save Prerna, to forcibly taking Prerna away and even to the way he is more concerned of Pre than Kuki. Till CVs clear these facts, he will still be an intruder to me in AnuPre's lives just like how Komo is. Vo alag baath hai ki mera d*** AnuPre un donom ko intrude karne dethe hein. But I cannot completely blame them too, because not a day they got in peace soon after their confession & realization. Then on what basis they can grow in their love. Yet, till Anu did this stupid act, one of them always had the hope which helped the other too to be pulled out of each kasautii. This time it is different because none of them have that hope.
Coming to answering questions on Pre being kept away from Sneha for 8yrs, I will wait for the Sneha track to start. As of now, i will go with my theory that by keeping Sneha away from Pre, Anu was making sure that Pre will forget him forever. He believes that Sneha is his child and so didn't want any of his nishaanis to be with her. But then, since at times i get doubtful of whether Sneha is alive or not, I will wait for the CVs to clarify it before jumping into any conclusion.
And before jumping on me for an anti-Bajaj post, chill girls. Atleast i didn't namecall Bajaj, like how it is being with Anurag & Prerna, round the clock in the forum. The reason why I make posts in the forum is mainly to let out my disappointments, to share my thought process on a probable track and on how I perceive a character. That doesn't mean my words are to be taken of utmost importance. Especially when we are talking about a show handled by KZK CVs, who many times have proved that none of the characters is their favorite. Anytime, any character can be butchered in their hands. So, let's just accept that fact and continue watching the show just for a time pass.
