ShraMan FF: A love that was once hidden

Hello beautiful people! I am back on this Forum after a really long time! Some -very little of you'll- might know me. I once attempted on writing a fan fiction on ShraMan about 2 or so years ago, but just couldn't complete it. And well I'm once again on ShraMan fever (all thanks to EDKV season 2 without NiMik 😥)

Anyway, I hope you'll like it, and please do support me. It's my little way of keeping EDKV 1 and it's beautiful cast members alive in our thoughts. ❤

A Love That Was Once Hidden

Prologue

"I love you." He heard and saw Suman lying on top of him as his arms were securely placed around her waist.

"Kitna?" He asked innocently. She had told him this a thousand times yet he couldn't get enough of it. Every time she described her love for him, it left the same spark it did she confessed her love the first time.

"Bohot saara. Aisa pyaar jo tumne kabhi socha bhi na ho. Main tumhe sabse, khud se bhi zyaada pyaar karti hoon. Balki, school ke dinon se hi, par apni immaturity mein main itna doobi huyi thi, ki main samajh hi nai payi, main kab aur kaise tumse pyaar karne lagi. Jab bhi mujhe koi help chahiye tha main Tumse aati, kyuki mujhe lagta tha mera haq hai. Jab bhi main udaas hoti thi, main Tumse aati, kyuki tumse woh sukoon milta tha. Jaan hi nai paayi ki voh sirf dosti nai balki pyaar tha. Mujhe tab ehsaas Hua, jab tum London gaye the. Aur phir tumhare aane ka intezaar ki, yahi sochke ki tumhare aane ke din hi, main tumhe apni dil ke baat kahu. I love you." She ended it with a slight kiss on his forehead.

"I love you." She said again as she kissed his eyes.

"I love you." She repeated as she kissed both his cheeks.

"I love you." She said once more she she kissed his nose.

"I love you." Her whisper was heard once more and she leaned forward to kiss his lips, but unfortunately the shrill ringing of the alarm was heard.

Shravan got up with a jolt.

A dream. He sighed sadly.

This was sadly nothing but a dream.

This wasn't the first time he had this particular dream.

A dream that will unfortunately never come true. Because he left that place, he left his family, he left her. Sumo.

His reverie was once again broken by the ear piercing sound of the lightning. It was raining heavily in London. He stood next to the window as he watched the water being poured violently on the ground from the clouds up there.

She loved rains. He thought as he remembered back to a 16 year old Suman dancing and jumping in the rain with a permanent smile etched on her face.

But her last rain in my presence was filled with nothing but grief. His thoughts troubled him once more as a pained expression took over his face as he remembered her crying in the rain hugging her legs to her chest just after Shravan confessed in a fit of anger about him destroying PCT deliberately.

He had so much to tell her. So much to confess. So much to apologise for. But alas, he left without looking back; leaving his apology unsaid and his feelings hidden in his heart...

A Love That Was Once Hidden

Chapter 1

"Suman!" Mamiji called out. "Kaha reh gayi yeh ladki?" She muttered to herself.

"Yahi hoon mamiji!" Suman replied as she hurriedly kept the invoices back in their original files.

As soon as she was about to head out, her eyes fell on the calender.

22 October it read.

It was exactly two months since she could walk perfectly on her own. Two months since she saw Shravan.

Two months since he left her. Again.

She sighed at her thoughts. When they had reconciled during the Khosla case, never had she imagined a day to come where things would go back to square one. She hadn't, in her wildest dreams, thought there would come such a day where they would turn strangers. She still couldn't grasp on the reason behind him leaving them all of a sudden. Leaving her all of a sudden.

As angry as she was at him for leaving her, she was a little relieved too. He, at least, didn't have to stay with a manipulative father. He, atleast, won't be victim to his father's lies and deceit. From the day she came to know the real truth behind Nirmala leaving Shravan, her respect for Ramnath dissolved quicker than sugar dissolving in hot water.

She had so much to say, so much to reprimand him for. She had yet her feelings to confess. But alas, they remained and will remain hidden in her mind and heart.

"Ji Mamiji?"

"Kaha reh gayi thi? Waise Kamini Ji milne aayi hai tumse." Mamiji informed as soon as she came to her room.

"Kamini aunty? Mujhse milne kyu aayi?" Suman asked confused. The woman who hardly interacted with her had now, all of a sudden, come to meet her.

"Mujhe Kya pata? Waise hum aur Rachna zara bazaar hokar aate hai aur Babuji Mehra Saab ke yaha gaye hai." Manju informed and she nodded her head.

She quickly walked over to the sitting room where Kamini was sitting, waiting for her.

"Arrey Suman puttar! Kaisi hai tu?" Kamini asked sweetly, and Suman, for once, was taken aback by her friendly approach.

Inhe bukhaar toh nai chada na. She thought.

"Waise, I'm sorry main pehle aa hi nai payi. Voh main apni maayke mein thi na. Mujhe tumhare theek hone ki pata chalte hi fauren aayi, Tumse milne. Waise, how are you beta?" She asked.

"Much better aunty." Suman smiled.

"Yeh Shravan bhi na. Pata nai kyu achanak chala gaya. Bina kisi ko bataye. Arrey bhaisaab ko bhi nai bataya. Mujhe laga shayad tum dono ki misunderstanding door hote hi rahenga India mein, lekin voh toh chala gaya." Kamini said. She very well knew the misunderstanding regarding PCT still lingered between them, but she had to make up a story as an excuse for her to reveal the truth.

"Misunderstanding? Kaunsi aunty?" Suman asked.

"Arrey wahi. Jab Shravan Berry ka case lad raha tha, usse pata hi nai tha, ki PCT uski zameen par hai. Uss nikamme Berry ne chalaki se usse pata chalne hi nai diya." Kamini said as Suman widened her eyes in utter shock.

"Lekin Shravan ne to kaha usne jaan boojke-" she said still trying to comprehend all that Kamini told her but was interrupted by her.

"Usne toh yeh ghusse mein aake kaha. Lekin jab usse pata chala iss sab ke baare mein, usne khud, Berry ko ek zor ka thappar mara. Pushkar ki kasam." Kamini revealed and Suman was about to fall had Kamini not held her arm on time.

"Waise der aaye, durust aaye. Kam se kam tujhe ab toh sach pata chala hain na?" She said with a smile.

Kamini knew something was going on between Shravan and Suman. She knew the two loved each other, and yet were at loggerheads. She also knew that Ramnath would be infuriated if Suman had to become his daughter in law, all thanks to the Nirmala fiasco and so she planned this all. By now, a small part of hers also realised that Shravan was no more a threat and as much as Pushkar had a right over Malhotra Associates, Shravan too had. She knew she was previously wrong in wanting Shravan to leave his own family just so her sons would gain ownership and this was one way in which she could atleast attempt in bringing Shravan back to India.

"Ab main chalti hoon beta." Kamini said as she squeezed her arm with a smile and walked out, praying that Suman, somehow, brings Shravan back.

Now she also had to apologise to him and he wasn't there. Great! She thought guilty of her behaviour towards Shravan.
