I saw the episode yesterday where all the contestants performed on a stage. And i felt the programme was being unfair to some of the participants like Hemachandra. The episode had some of the general public and some tv stars saying a few things supporting the contestants. And in 'Jai ho' gharana everyone kept saying about 'Rajeev who was from Chamba'.Is it the place from where the contestant comes important or the show really wants to promote the talented singers???

Given the format of the show, where in it is public vote that decides who will be in the finals and eventually win, how prudent is it for the producers to only beam comments on a particular singer ... in a way directly promoting them on TV prior to the voting ... say Rajeev ... this obvviously will have an effect on the voters and would show in the final result ... not a fair game this ... at all ... not a hint of it as well !

Looks like all that Gajendara wants is singers like Rajeev to reach finals ... and have that emotional factor edge maintained for the serial ... so that people still see it in that part of the world ... and also others who follow the cook to stardom ... most of us agree here (keep aside emotion and the place where he comes from) that he is not as good as some of the others ... ain it !!!!

Why didnt they come down to south and take an opinion/support of the public there???At this stage the show should be unbiassed and give equal exposure to every contestant. It will be very sad to see talented singers like Hema,Debo,Sharib lose the contest to someone like Rajeev.

Lord Gajendra Wake Up!!!!Its time....make ur prog. an all India unbiased singing talent search rather than a specific region focussed ,TRP craved, emotionally driven ,films promoting prog.(Soap!)

I agree to this. I feel that the bramhastra round and agnipath round is also very unfair to these artists. Shows like these, which have jantha voting, are making these contestants act like beggars and politicians begging for votes. Sorry if I'm crude, but that's how I feel. This is a total mockery of music. Till before bramhastra I enjoyed the show a lot. Now I have totally lost interest on this show. With jantha voting they will be a lot of discrepancies, few of which would be
1) Everybody won't have an equal chance to vote because of multiple voting.
2) By revealing the region and financial status of the contestants there is always public sympathy and bias to certain contestants.
3) It is so clear on this show that all of the contestants are not equally being promoted.
4) People who don't have slightest knowledge of music will get to vote.
And the list could go on....
After all this, guess I'm an optimist, I wish, may the best talent win.

I totally agree ...

coz now people will vote with their EYES and not EARS ...
which is kinda sad ...

I just voiced my opinion about Hemchander in the post "Hemchander Trying To Get Janta's Votes" ...

It's gonna be sad to see an all time greencard holder go because of public voting ...

this is my biggest fear!

The voting business is murky, if they wanted to involve audience they should have done it in a way which does not dilute the SGRMP original philisophy. They could have asked the judges to pick 6 stand by candidates and then audience could have voted for them. That would have been fair IMO. The contestants picked by HR other than Ujjaini and Sanchali are not upto the mark. They will find it hard to compete with the current crop of finalists.

COuldn't agree more with you all. Whenever Janata is involved in judging the talent, usually matters take turns for the worst. Judging should be left for the experts. I am pretty much confident that the true talent will lose against the Janata's favorite. Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul have already proven it. SaReGaMaPa is all posed to lose it's reputation as a talent show with the current circus that's going on....

Gajendra Singh ne khud apne paanv pe kulhadi maar di !! Ya phir samzo paanv hi kulhadi pe maar diya....

We know what happens when junta votes, look at our politicians, some are from the underworld 😆 and the rest who are not will soon be joining them. IMHO they should have requested all the bollywood music directors to vote instead of the junta.
